Welcome to another quick and easy hair tutorial for a party and everyday, without heat! In this video I'll show you step by step how to create a super cute and unique 5 strand braid (or a 4 strand braid with a baby-braid inside). It's a hairdo for long hair, or medium length hair with extensions. This last minute hairstyle can be done if you're running late - it's heatless and it looks great with any hair texture (straight, wavy or curly). It should take you just 5-10 minutes (unless you decided to apply heat to straighten your). You can wear the braid everyday to complete your casual glam look (to school, college, university, work, for meeting friends and going out clubbing). But it's also suitable for special events, for a party, as a wedding guest, bridesmaid, for prom, homecoming, graduation.

Hi guys today I'll be showing you how to create this unique and intricate braid at first. It might appear slightly complex, but give yourself some time to practice it and I'm sure you'll find it very easy for this braid I'm going to need my glands and hair extensions to add the necessary length and volume to my own medium length hair. I attached dark blonde and platinum blonde wax alternating these two colors to get an effect of instant highlights. Then I brush out my hair to remove eventual tangles. Next, I'm going to create a tiny, braids and separate the remaining hair into 4 equal strands. I'M going to place my braids in the middle, a big strand number one and bring it under strand two and over my braids, I grab strand 4 and bring it under strand 3 and over strand 2. Now I want to reposition my braids so that it's in the middle again it should stay underneath the other strands. I pick strand one and bring it over strand two and under the tiny braids I pick strand 4 and bring it over strands three and under strand two. Then again I reposition the braid so that it's in the middle it should stay at the top. So basically, the braiding process consists of two phases for the first phase. The keywords are under over under over while for the second phase, the keywords are over under over answer and at the end of each phase, you it under the second one. You were positioned the braid in the middle leaving it on top. The first strand goes under the second one and over the braid. The last strand goes under the third one and over the second one, then your position, the braid in the middle, leaving it underneath at first. You might find this braid slightly difficult because all the steps you need to take into consideration, but believe me, you just need some practice after you try to recreate this braid several times. Your fingers will remember all these movements, then you won't even have to think about what you're doing your hands will do everything for you. So simply practice don't expect to get a perfect result from the first attempt. If you find it difficult to remember the steps try to focus on the key words now you can tie the ends of the braid with a small elastic band and stretch the bottom segments of the braid to make them appear. I was just curious if this would work with small parts of my hair(1/4 or so) instead of using all of it? (minus the extensions) Atm I pretty much just have 2-3 small braids under the back part of my hair and one on each side. Very small braids, you can barely notice them, but I find it keeps most of my hair out of the way during the day without having to put it up =).
