So in today's video I wanted to talk about what to consider before you chop off your hair or, if you even just change the length of your hair., And this is in no way to discourage you from getting a haircut.. If anything, this might actually make you want to do it.. So the first thing you need to consider is: how do you normally wear your hair.? We normally tend to have a style that we stick to for more than 60 or 70 percent of the time.. So if you normally wear your hair down you're kind of open to whatever, and if you wear your hair up, you definitely need to keep at least a length enough that you can still tie your hair back. Even if it's in a low ponytail. Say, if you're, like all my clients, that are you, know personal trainers or workout daily, they need to get their hair out of their face without using 500 bobby pins. Obviously so because that's going to get old, really fast. The next thing you need to consider obviously whatever length it is you're thinking about test it out see if it's flattering, with your face, shape with your features, even with your body shape.. Now a lot of people think that hair only has to do with face, but it actually has a lot to do with your body shape.. With the right hair like shape and cut, you can actually look taller, slimmer, happier. A lot of times like people. Don'T realize that so. Say you're going for something a little bit shorter than chin length test, that out, look and see like ,''. Does that look good on me ?'' and try and pin it up. Look at it from behind as well get like. You know. A second mirror and check the backside and make sure that you like how that looks. Look at it, not just how it hits your neck and how it hits your back, but look at it also from far away like how does that suit? Your body., If you're very tall, very thin, like a very short bob, might look un-proportionate to your body because you know you're like tall, and you have this like teeny bit of hair.. I'M not saying that that's there's anything wrong with that. Keeping proportions kind of right.. It'S just really soothing and pleasing to the eye., Pretend you already have the haircut clip it do whatever you know it doesn't have to like look perfect, but just so you can see if it hits at that area like how does that look on your overall? Not just your face, but your whole body. And the next one you have to consider is: how long do you normally spend styling your hair. There's a huge misconception that short hair is just walk out the door, it's easy and fun., And it can definitely look that Way after you've styled it. Normally, when you have longer hair, you can tie it up in a bun. If you don't want to mess with it. Say you didn't have time to blow it out, you can kind of pin it up. Do all these fun things.. If your hair is shorter, if it is not styled, it's not gon na look good, but unless you have amazing gorgeous texture in your hair that you can literally like wash and go.. In that case, then you're super lucky and this obviously doesn't really apply to you.. But do consider the styling time it will take to create that look.. So, like the really blunt kind of short bobs are so in, and everyone thinks like ,'' Wow, I can like shed off like half my hair.'' and it just looks so like wispy and fun and there's all this natural texture.. And if your hair is like straight you're, obviously gon na have to add curl to it to make it look really like fun and thick and really playful.. Otherwise, if you have like finer hair and you get, you know a fairly shorter haircut, I mean it kind of just like lays flat on the days. You don't style it. It'S not going to look. You know as appealing I think, as you're imagining. So definitely take that into consideration.. Try to figure out the time you would need to style this haircut.. Just because it's less hairier styling doesn't necessarily mean that it's going to cut your time in half. And then the next one which we kind of just touched, is do you have the right texture for that cut, And this is more for the girls that have really Thick curly, just full volume, full body hair., And this happens so many times like they'll, come in with this long gorgeous thick hair and they're like ``, I'm just tired of styling. This just cut it really short so that I don't have to deal with it.'' And I'm like ,''. Oh my gosh. Your problems are going to be doubled. If I do that.'', If you imagine like when the hair is long and thick and full it's long and it's heavy so kind of like weighs it down. The more you cut off the more it's going to just puff out.. So your hair texture is probably one of the most important in deciding on what length to go for. Now, if you're, the kind of person that you know spends 45 minutes on their hair daily and you're used to the blowout you're used to maybe using hot tools On your hair. Say, you do have frizzy hair, but you want that short bob. If you're willing to put the time, then absolutely there is absolutely no rule or nothing that says you shouldn't. Have the hair of your dreams. Just be aware that you know you will be spending extra time on your hair if you're, basically kind of going against the rule.? Like me, I have a frizzy hair and I like to wear my hair either super straight or you know, with a wave in it.. So I know that either way I'm going to have to use a hot tool., But my hair is blonde and my hair is not naturally blonde. So I know that you know every couple of weeks there's the upkeep of the color., My hair actually kind of volumizes at the root, but not in the right places. So it looks kind of kinky and funny at the root.. So if I want voluminous kind of roots, I have to blow out my hair.. The point here is that you can still have whatever you want. It just might be if you're going against the texture or whatever of your hair, you are going to have to put in the work, and that's all that this is., And so the last one is Obviously make sure it fits your lifestyle. As a hairdresser. Obviously you just want to give your clients like their dream, hair, no matter what., It's very important that we ask you know like ``. How do you normally wear your hair? What kind of job you do ?''? I think, sometimes in the beginning of that hair appointment after you ask like ``, How are you doing ?'' and you know, like ,'', Show me a picture of what you want'' and we've kind of gone through a pretty detailed consultation. When we ask questions about what you guys do like ``, Do you have kids'' and all these things we promise we're not trying to be nosy, but it really helps us know what hair is right for you and what we can do for you.. So, yes, that is it for this video.. I hope that if you are considering, you know doing a different style or different cut for your hair.. I hope that this has definitely just pushed you more in that direction.. Don'T forget to click here on this little dot. To subscribe, it won't turn you away from this video and you will just get notified next time that I make a video. All right guys. Thank you so much for watching. I love you and I will see you in the next video. Bye.

Katie Byrne: I want to grow my hair but I also want to cut it , who feels me

Alexkoun: STOP! Hair grows back...life is short and u should try anything...don’t overthink...and don’t say something doesn’t look good...everything look good in its own way

samwic: me when i have short hair: i want my long hair back :( me when i have long hair: CHOP IT OFF

Melody Borg: Cutting my hair (just above shoulder length) was the best thing I ever did for my look. I'm lazy and don't spend time styling my hair, never have, but my hair is fine, flat, and a little wavy naturally. With less weight on the ends my hair has so much more natural volume and I can just scrunch it up without it getting tangled to give it more texture. Just thought I'd mention as a counter point in case anyone is put off by this video, I don't find short hair any more difficult than long hair.

Jamie Good: *watches this video me: i don’t care i’m having a mental breakdown

According To Youtube Statistics: This is an extremely late comment but I’ve been growing my hair out for about fifteen years so it’s pretty long. Almost every compliment I’ve ever received has been about how beautiful my hair was, and my boyfriend (now ex-boyfriend) always made comments on how he loved my long hair. A month ago I decided I was sick of my hair and didn’t want it so lengthy. I told my parents that I wanted to cut it but they did not allow me to do so because my hair was fine the way it was. I told them that having shorter hair would allow me to express my identity more, but they still denied it. A week ago, I went to my friend’s house and her older sister who was a hairstylist chopped it off for me. I returned home the next day and my mother only talked about how much she missed my long hair, and my boyfriend didn’t love my current hair like I did. He bitched about it constantly and I broke up with him because he should have loved every part of me, and I realized a few weeks before that I didn’t think I was into men. Even then, I’ve been getting positive comments from my classmates from my hair and sexuality (I came out as gay soon after) I don’t regret it in the slightest ☺️☺️

Illianmybeloved: One part of my wants to cut my hair SHORT then the other part wants to grow my hair super long.

feenyx blue.: Pixie cut here. My hair is naturally straight: 1. If you wear your hair in a basic ponytail, and considering cutting it in a pixie, totally disregard "I can't do it because I need to put my hair in a pony. 2. For thick hair, a good stylist will thin it out so it doesn't poof 3. A pixie is wash and go. Or "stick head under a tap and go." 4. Consider the following: with short hair, even if it is a nightmare to style, you'll never have a dreadlock forming in the back of your hair (this happened to me)

Shiqi Lin: I kinda wanted to chop my hair off but I know I’m going to regret it later (especially when I see others with flawless long healthy hair)

Animal Lover: "when you have long hair you can just throw it in a bun." Me: " I wish..."

PokePotato: I'm planning on cutting my hair, but honestly, I don't think these videos are necessary. First of all: hair grows back. If you don't like it, you won't die. Second: Face and body shape? Should that prevent you from having a certain hairstyle just because you have the "wrong" shapes? Also, I always tie my hair up because I hate it down, but if I'd go for a pixiecut, I wouldn't have a problem, so why minimum shoulder length? Anyway, this video can certainly help for some people, but I think it's ridiculous that there are rules for cutting your hair;;

alien baby: Everyone in quarantine watching this like: ️️

Molly Burke: I'm very petite, 4'10 1/2 and about 90 pounds. I have belly button length hair that's naturally thick, dead straight and it's not dyed, so it's very healthy. Everyone is obsessed with my hair and say it's my "thing" - I've become very attached to my hair because of all of the comments and compliments I get about it, but sometimes it feels like SO much hair and I just want a change. I have no idea what I would do, what would suit me, etc. I'm blind so I cannot see myself or make my own decisions / form my own opinions on my looks, which makes things even more difficult. AH, what to do?!

KellyeRaiborn#TEXIT: Just went from waist length to right above my bra and I'm so in love with it. People think super long hair has, so many styling options but not really, it was either strait or braided all the time. I can do so much more at this length. Plus it looks even thicker and so bouncy. Love love, love it!!

Molly summerrock: I dunno if I should cut my hair Anxiety Edit: I cut my hair

VelerieBee: i have thick, straight, long hair and i have been itching to cut it short like a pixie cut for so long because it’s so hard to maintain as it’s so thick and takes awhile to brush i feel like i might regret it but i mean it will grow back eventually and it saves me from spending ages in the shower :’D edit: i got it and uwaaaa i’m in love w it ╰(*´︶`*)╯♡

Sadpie: I’m going to cut my hair on monday... and it’s going to be rly short- I’ve never cut it that short actually- but I put a lot of time in thinking about doing it or not... and I think that it could suit me- ....hopefully -edit- I’ve done it- AND I’M SO GOD DAMN HAPPY WITH ITTTTTTT

Gabi: I love your videos. As a hairdresser, I find your advice so accurate and informative. It’s been inspiring for me for my channel as well. Thanks for the great content.

Squid Mami: Omg this helps so much!!! I showed this video to my friend and her hair looks so good! I'm gonna get mine cut tomorrow!!!

Summer S: You are making me talk myself out of cutting my hair.

Rhiannon Riley: i’m chopping my hair off to shoulder length in 3 or 4 days!!!! i’m so excited. let’s see how this goes

Emily Nicole: A part of me wants to cut my hair short and another part wants to keep growing it out IM SO INDECISIVE UGH

i puh sticker on my carrier: I tried the “tuck in your ends” technique and I actually looked cute :,)

howveeseesit: I don’t know, I’m weird, but I’ve never styled my short hair and it has always pleased me the way it looked. I have naturally thick, wavy blonde hair. I love the volume it gives me. People always complement me on it, and wish they had my hair. I’m going to the hair salon for another cut to go even shorter. I’m so excited!

Luna Miranda: Love your honesty and the way you explain things! You’ve got a new subscriber!

Allej Moon: yesssss....thank you. I really want to have short hair and people always tell me to just go for it. but I have curly thick hair so I know the shorter I go, the curlier it gets and the more volume i get....so when I had short hair before, I hated it because I had to spend way more time to make it look decent compared to when it‘s really long.

alma: I've always felt that anyone can wear any hair style, cut, color. No matter what shape size height.. wear what you love!

Lydia Fredd: this was actually super helpful, literally got about 5 min in and decided to not cut my hair

Ashley Crouch: I wanted short hair all year but I couldn't part with my long straight locks. I was considering going really short next week but this video has totally changed my mind. I do like to put my hair up everyday and exercise regularly. I don't think I could handle a bob cut because I wouldn't be able to make it show my personality. Long hair you can do tons of things with it where short hair you can only do so much. That's my opinion anyways. I don't own a straighter or curling iron,or use hairspray so it would be bland for my specific daily hairstyle taste. Thank you so much for making this video.

Cassie: A year ago I watched it this video before I cut my hair I used it as a guide, and the next day I cut around 30-40 cm off my hair and it turned out great! I still love it and I’m going to layer my hair this year!

Maeve O Connor: I had hair to my waist for years and I got bored so I chopped it off. Best decision I've ever made. I have a pixie now and I love it

Anna-Karin Blom: OMG! It's just hair! It grows out! Don't overthink, just tryyy. Life is too short not to try different styles!

Anouk Désirée: Thank you so much for this helpful video, I was looking for answers to my questions and you definitely cleared them all! Many thanks from Switzerland!

D A: OMG, you did such a good job with this very short video! I think you would be an excellent instructor, I'm so serious. I absolutely love learning, I make sure I learn something new EVERYDAY and I'm sick and tired of people wasting my time with a bunch of nonsense just because they like to hear themselves talk. God has truly blessed you, and I pray He continues to bless you in abundance!

Artyom Alexeyev: I'm having so many urges and one of them is to cut my hair short. I really want to do it but I might regret it.

Real human person not a frog: This video: everything points to That you should not cut your hair Me: * me with my super thin straight, slick hair * nah I’m chopping it all of

Mello: And then there are those girls that can pull off any hairstyle or haircut. We all know them. Not even gonna hide my envy.

Cesiley Thorson: You're the only person other than myself that I've heard talk about your hair fitting your body type as well!! I'm not a pro at all but always thought only certain hairstyles look good proportionately and some styles and cuts make me look thinner, bigger, taller, shorter, etc. So it's nice to get confirmation on that through someone else. Love it!! Thank you!

Kathleen Fae: You can have short hair and still style it in many ways. I have short hair, barely hits my shoulders, and an undercut that goes from side to side. I can braid my hair, straighten, curl, scrunch, and more. It really depends on layers and how you want it to look.

Trude: Before I cut off my long hair I always used to keep my hair up in a ponytail. Now that I cut it short I do wear my hair down a lot more. It doesn’t stick to clothes or is an annoyance, I really have been able to do a lot more different hairstyles than before. So your first point actually is something that really changed for me

Alison W: I cut my hair to my shoulders about 9 months ago and it’s one of my biggest regrets!!! The hairdresser layered my hair even though I asked her not to - it was so not flattering and I’d recommend you all to be very stern about what you want the hairdresser to do to avoid making the same mistake I did!!!!

Ellen Weiss Margolis: I went from long to pixie cut on a whim after a stylist convinced me it would suit me perfectly. I regretted it immediately and every day since. I'm still working on growing it back out 18 months later. Everyone told me the pixie looked cute, but I never felt like "myself." And that's really important. You've gotta feel comfortable first and foremost.

kj robbi: This is the BEST hair advice period!! This chick is wise as well as articulate. No one EVER cautions these things before a cut or style change.

Amany Rana: Thank youuu. This is one of the most helpful and to the point vid out there ❤️

Deana Bennett: Thank you, you just helped me end the debate I've been having with myself !

Bc Atypical: ellebangs, you have done such a good job in this video! You know what you are talking about and present it well. I haven't watched any of your other videos, so can't comment, but I was very taken with this one. Thank you.

Brie Sparrow: short hair is actually more maintance than long hair... I have to use six products, a blow dryer and a large barrel curling iron, but when its was long I used to just braid it and leave.

SSNS4EVR: Me: loves my long hair Also me: puts my hair up in a bun *everyday* and never does anything with it. (My hair is down to my waist btw and I want to get a pixie cut)

Abbey’s World: I’m a freaking giant and I once cut my hair so short that the back was razored.... Just do you girl! If you wanna change your hair do it! Forget what anyone says!

lex: Omg your hair matches absolutely perfect to your face shape.❤️

nazish munir: OMG no other stylist gives this kind of real useful info.. thank you so very much.. love your channel

Isaiah43:1: Again another amazing video. I so wish that I could find a stylist like you. I have never had a stylist ask me the questions you were going over for a consultation. I live in Daytona Beach. by chance would you be able to recommend someone in this area? I know it is a crazy question as I believe you are in SF. I thought I would take a chance and ask...you never know it is a small world! Thank you again for your very informative videos!

adishree jain: Thank you so much for this video! I have had but length hair for almost all my life and decided to finally get it cut bcoz it was getting really thin and I wanted a change... But bcoz I haven't gotten a haircut in almost 6 years,, I am very worried and sceptical Abt it. Your video really really helped,, coz this is what I was looking for... That what all cutting it would actually involve and how I can go abt doing it... Wish u were my hairdresser coz u get me! Thanks!!

Aada Kiiveri: I'm even more sure about cutting my hair now. Thank you!❤️

Krista Hoegh: I watched this vid before cutting. I went from hair in my butt crack to hair to my shoulders, and I love it❤️

Madmwazel: I wish I could just shave my head. I'm so tired of dealing with my hair.

Amy K: Glad you asked about the questions the hair stylist asks. I always get really shy after I'm there for a bit. I start to feel like I'm in a police interigation haha.

Anagha Raghu: Watching this a year after I cut my hair short and its back to the original length now xD but I'm glad she mentioned that short hair isn't as easy maintenance as people say.... I initially cut my hair bc I used to have short hair years ago and wanted to see if I looked better with it now; also thought life would get easier.... but after having the style for 2-3 months I realized that long hair is actually much easier because I could just braid it and keep it out of the way. Short hair just started bothering me a lot with how much it got in my face 24/7..

drink some water mark: Keep in mind, none of these rules apply all the time. For example, Go Joon-hee, a Korean actress, is tall and skinny and looks absolutely wonderful with very short hair. So just trust your intuition and go for the cut. I'm sure you'll look fabulous!

Noelia Jaime: I cut my hair above my shoulders and it's the most comfortable, coolest length i ever got.Love it!.

Qwertzuiopü: This video helped me so so much! Thank you :)

AiValentine23: I'm cutting my hair this Friday and my biggest worry is that my texture is going to kink up once it's short, but I figure I'll just rock the wild and crazy look on those natural days. This is a really good video for the girls who don't realize what they're getting into with shorter hair.

Alanna: So here's the thing... my hair is past my butt. I never wear it down because it gets to tangled and frizzy and makes me extremely hot. It takes a lot of products (conditioner, oil, ect) and it makes fixing my hair a huge hassle because the Also I can't have it front framing my face with too close eyes and too big forehead and round fat undefined cheeks because it's to long and looks weird and doesn't stay. But I've never even trimmed it, and I have blonde baby hairs at the bottom so it's like natural ombre, if I ever cut it I don't think my mom would let me get it dyed. Also my hair tangles really easily and it being so long I have to rip out a lot of them, and my hair is really layered and frayed.

Hyper Sane: Super helpful, I'm scheduled for a cut on Monday and I keep going back and forth. I train in the gym 4-5 days a week and my ponytail is annoying! I have had short hair before, the Jennifer Aniston bob, looks good but I always want to grow it out then when I do I want to chop it! I like the point you mention re body shape, that was helpful because I train hard with weight, I have a very nice shape especially my shoulders and my husband says I should show off my neck and shoulder as my hair hides it. Monday is close, will I chop it or trim it.....

Sarah Blount: Me: I keep my hair in a bun all the time. Vid: "keep your hair a length that you can put it up, Me: *shrugs* I wanna pixie cut!

WHaT ExACtLy ArE YoU DoINg WiTh THaT CaR?: i didnt even consider anything i literally went *mum, im cutting my hair alright lets go* (i got it done today and i love it, has anyone seen my hair?)

Chloe Renee: I don't mess with my hair, I don't enjoy it. I have wanted a pixie for about a year and a half. I've had long chin bangs before *i still do* and I was absolutely in love. It still went into a pony tail so it was still easy to deal with. I can't really talk to a hair stylist in front of my mom about it because she dislikes the short hair idea on me, so I haven't ever talked to one about it before. This video was really eye opening actually. I'm decently tall *5'6-5'7 and I'm 13* and slender and like you said you could need more hair to match your body type. I've been very conflicted because everyone says don't cut it you'll regret it and you look good with long hair.

Brogan Burgess: After nearly 8 years of extremely long hair I'm finally gonna cut it. I'm just going through all hair related videos to make sure my hair ends up being amazing

Trinity Livingston: I want it cut it short because I want to explore my gender more (gender fluid!) Also, I wear my hair up because I don't want to deal with it but I kind of agree with some of the points in this video!

Kristin Whiting: You are right! I was considering a collarr length bob but I wear my hair in a bun most of the time and i'm not going to realistically spend more time on my hair. I do think I'll get several inches cut off, however, because it's at a point where it just won't curl and stay curled when i want it to.

Crazy Panda: This actually really helped! I now have a cut that I really like ✌

Ella Tye: I have really short hair and I DO NOTHING TO IT (other than regular washing!!) and it looks... just... BOMB ALL THE TIME AND PEOPLE TELL MY ITS GOTTA BE SO HARD BUT NO ITS NOT!!!! Love you ❤️❤️❤️

Ashlen: I have a natural wave to my hair. It’s thick and fine. I’m considering doing a long aline cut but not sure if I’ll like it or not. I really love how long my hair is currently and wanna grow it longer but it’s also SO HEAVY. Not sure what to do. I wanna do something to change it up. I also had a really short bob before but I grew my hair out because I missed it haha.

Roseanne King: You’re so right. I have to spend longer on my hair when it’s short than long plus I don’t look good in short hair, and my hair is thinning out as I get older and that also makes a difference.

Jjballetduckie .M: I have wavy/curly hair and I’m thinking about styling it. My hair goes down to my rib cage. I might cute of like 1 or 2 inches kits to get off the spilt ends and then get some layers. Not like very short and then long layers but a few ones just for more volume. Might do it this summer or really soon! What do you think?

JusteEntreNous: This is so helpfull ! I wish all the hairdressers I've seen told me that :)

Lunar DeBrie: Finally, a video from a WOMAN on cutting hair. Looked up safe ways to cut my hair myself and the top 10 results were almost all men, besides tutorials I didn't want.

sarahstuff music: how long does my hair have to be so i can french-braid it? i want to cut it short (my hair reaches my butt right now) but i still want to be able to style it. also i’m wondering - my hair has a slight wave to it, but it’s not too heavy (very fine hair)...will my hair get any more wave in it the shorter/lighter it is?

Monica Naida: I am so tall and I have been thinking of cutting it short but you're right, it will look odd with my body shape. Thanks for making this all a bit clearer!

Cecilia Martínez: 4:23 when I cut my hair (I have pretty wavy hair) my stylist was like... you will look like a mushroom.. and i wanted to die of embarrassment but then we decided to cut small layers so that it wouldn’t fall like that... also, ever since I cut my hair I have to wash it more often because i have to style it and it’s V annoying (at least it looks pretty‍♀️)

Peniswhipes: for the styling time, with a pixie cut just wet it and shape it, then boom you are having a good hair day. this usually takes about 2 minutes

Laila K: i can see how a lot of the tips are super helpful here (esp coming from a pro hairstylist's perspective), but regarding if the haircut will match your body shape, face shape, from all angles, etc: it's just hair! it will grow back if you don't like it! life is too short not to try out that style you really crave, just because there's a slim chance that it might not "match" appearance-wise.

Kristen M: I’ve actually never had a stylist ask me what job I have! I think that’s a great question to ask!!

Jay L: I had long thick straight hair, and I hated it so much! I kept telling my mom that I wanted to cut it really short, but she wouldn't let me because she said it would just poof out, so she made me get it to my shoulders and that was it. Ive finally convinced her to let me get it at the end of this month, but as excited as I am, im still scared that ill regret it straight after, any suggestions? (I know im late)

TUVA: This is so helpful, I'm thinking of chopping my hair off but I'm scared as well hahah

Sha Chaney: I had decently long thick hair, it was hot In the summer weather so I decided to have 6 or 7 inches cut off. I wanted a side bang on one side but she didn’t understand what I was saying and cut one on both sides, I was so upset that my hair was so short and my bangs are consistently in my face. I also agree with the body shape having to do with a cut, long hair suits me better being heavier. (in my opinion) I have to straighten my hair everyday to be satisfied with it, It’ll grow but I learned my lesson!! Wish I’d seen this first. ‍♀️

Sarah Surowka: My hair is much easier longer because it's thick and curly, but it has nice natural waves when it's long and I never style it. When it's short it just looks frizzy and big in a bad way. I love being able to throw it in a braid and letting that style my hair. Even though I hated it last time I was considering cutting my hair again but you just reminded me why I shouldn't. THANK YOU! I wish every stylist went through this checklist before they cut your hair.

Sherry Edwards: Great tips. I'm getting a new hairstyle tomorrow so these tips are greatly appreciated.

Mani Butler: I disagree about styling short hair. I went from having hair more than halfway down my back to a pixie cut that's completely above my ears (my boyfriend has longer hair than me ) Yes it might take longer to style it, but my shower in the morning is so much shorter, and my hair dries faster. So I have some extra steps, but I think it takes less time overall.

Londyn :3: I look bad in all hair

Miranda Lewellen: I’m going to cut at least 5inches off and it’s going to be a few inches below my shoulders and I’m debating not doing it help. It looks nice on me(I checked ) and I’m worried that it will end up not looking good if I get it cut.

Kačka Tvrdá: This is actually a very good and helpfull video! Thank you!

Kirsty Macfarlane: I got a graduated bob, never again! It took my current hairdresser an hour and a half to fix the arse up my original hairdresser did to the cut. Told her not to use thinning scissors, I'd been going to her for 7 years, and she did use them. She's now the third hairdresser I've stopped going to because of this. It took far too long to blow dry, so glad my hair is past my shoulders now. It doesn't take much less time to dry but it looks amazing xx

gray’s kinda blue: I’ve gotten my hair completely buzzed a few different times. Freeing af. If you’re considering something drastic that’ll fit your lifestyle- DO IT! You’ve got nothing to lost, and it always grows back. {:

ButI’mNervous: You should help me figure out which cut to get. I layered my hair before I realized I don't want layers. I want long, same length because I love braids.. You're beautiful. :)

Sydd Linden: #3... I've had everything from a pixie, to an undercut with a guy's top cut, to a jaw-length wedge - the trick to short hair without styling is to shower in the morning and let it dry natural and ruffle with your hands. Works for *most hair types and ditches the behead endemic to shorter cuts without the damage blow-drying can cause. (by all means, if your hair takes hours on end to dry I'm not saying stop blow drying, just for many it may not be a necessary step.) :) Really, saying short cuts look bad or even less good without styling is just plain false. Best tip: know your hair and accept it for what it is. Kind of a Zen approach, but it can work wonders for stress levels. ^_^

Smooch Kat: I wanna have short hair but I will feel so bad because I’ve been growing my long hair my whole life

Going Brenanas: That moment when you have naturally wavy hair and you realize how lucky you are

Shavaughna Lee: Thank you sooo much, this really helped me, now I know what kind of hair will fit me
