High Ponytail Hairstyles Tutorial For Long Hair: Flower + Braided Goddess Updo Tutorial
In this video I'll show you how to decorate your high ponytail with a braid, hair flower or a half updo of a greek goddess. The 1st hairstyle can be worn everyday as a casual look, while the last one is great for formal occasions and special events. It's a perfect holiday hairstyle for New Year's eve as well as wedding, prom, ball, graduation, etc.

Hi guys today, I'm going to show you how to decorate your high ponytail with braids that look like flowers and how to give it a feel of a Greek goddess up to in just a couple of simple steps. See if you want to know how to recreate this looks, keep on watching my own hair wouldn't be long enough for these hairstyles so starts from creating high ponytail using my glance and clip in hair extensions. I basically create a tiny ponytail in the middle of my head and then attach platinum and dark blonde waves to create an effect of instant highlights in all of my previous videos. I have already shown you the entire process so feel free to check it out today. I'Ll start from the finished look from the tutorial with a beautiful Dutch braid in France, but of course this braid is totally optional and if you wish you could skip it so for the first hairstyle grab a thin strands of hair and create a braid. It'S just a regular three strand braid next before you tie the ends of this braid with an elastic you want to stretch one side of the braid, so delicately pull on the edges of your braid to volumize it. Your breed should look something like this. If you're in the mood for a playful party hairstyle, you could leave it just like that, while, if you're in the mood for something more intricate, you can now use this braid to create a hair flower. That'S how you do it! You basically hold the base of this braid in place and then wrap the ends around using a hairpin. You can now secure it in place for the best hold you need to spray it with a generous amount of a hair spray. Another technique to create an even more beautiful flower is the following one. You want to roll your braids into a flower starting from the end. This way it will have much more petals and will look like a beautiful rose when you insert your hairpin, try to pierce as many layers as you can spray your hair with a hair spray, and your look is complete for the following hairstyle. You want to grab a section of hair and use my favorites twist and pull technique at first. You divide the section in two and create a regular twist make sure that it's rather loose and not too tight. Once it's done, you want to pick a thin strand of hair from one of the twisted sections: pull the remaining hair higher up to revert your roots, you're, going to obtain a kind of a curly messy structure. Sometimes you need to retry this procedure several times before. Your hair shapes the way you want it. So don't worry if it doesn't turn out perfect at your first try just try again until you're happy with the shape. Once it's done, you will need to wrap your hair around the base of the ponytail and secure it in place with hairpins. After that, your hair should look something like this. This look is now complete, but if you want to create an app to of an ancient goddess, grab another strands of hair from your ponytail and create one more braid, you can tag on the sides of this braid to make it look wider, then just wrap this Braid around the base of your ponytail, it's just as easy as that secure it with hair pins and your hairstyle is complete so, which look?
