Hey guys, I always get requests for this particular tumblr picture so I thought I'd make a quick and easy tutorial on it. If you know already know how to do a french braid you'll probably get this down really quick. :) Enjoy!
Hey guys say: I'm going to show you how to do this requested hairstyle from a tumblr picture that was sent to me. If you want to see the original photo I'll place, the link in the infobox down below, and if you want to see how I recreated it then stick around. First off gather some hair near the front of your face on one side and divide it into three parts. Then just do a regular three strand, braid use an elastic band and tie your braids. Do the exact same thing on the opposite side of your head gather. Some hair nor the front of your face, divide it into three parts and do a regular 3 strand braid combine the two braids and tie them together. Now, moving on to the French braid grab some hair right near the ponytail and divide this into three parts. To start the braid, you want to place the left strand over the middle and then place the right strand over the middle grab, some hair near the front of your face and make sure you grab a really small strand and you're going to combine this with the Left strand and then place it over the middle. This is a French braid except you're. Only picking hair near the front of your face and you're picking up very little tiny strands. So we're going to do the exact same thing to the other side, pick up a little strand, combine it with the right and place it over the middle. Once again, I'm just going to pick up hair near the front of the face, just a tiny strand combined. It with the left strand and then place it over the middle so from here you're. Just going to repeat the exact same steps, pick up some hair to the side of your face and combine it into the braid in the middle and, as you can see, as I'm picking up hair, I'm only doing it at the side and nothing in the middle Gets picked up so if you were clip on hair extensions, this hairstyle would be perfect because it doesn't interfere with the clips when you reach the very bottom, just grab a hair tie and tie off the braid. So here's the completed. Look it's just a simple French braid. Basically except the twist. Is you just pick up hair from the side, and this is perfect for those who wear hair extensions because the hair extensions won't show up, and that is that don't forget to favorite like and comment thanks. DestructoPop: @ckmsquared You can! I just did it on myself and it came out perfect! The hard part is holding the first braids together before combining them for the french braid. I recommend (I know, this sounds weird and gross) pulling the first one around and holding it in your lips while creating the second one. You have to hold it loosely so as not to reshape it, but tight enough not to drop it. It's a lot of fun and very cute. :)
