Prom/Wedding Hairstyle Tutorial For Medium Long Hair: Braided Flower Updo

In this hair tutorial I'll show you step by step how to create an elegant modern updo that looks like a flower made of hair. This hairstyle works best on medium long hair (at least shoulder length hair) and it is perfect for holidays (Christmas and New Year's eve) as well as any formal event or special occasion (prom, wedding, ball, graduation, homecoming).

Hello and welcome to another hair tutorial today, I'm going to show you how to recreate this modern, elegance album for special events, 1/3 from picking two strands of hair in the middle of my head, I'm going to twist them in the clockwise direction. I basically place the bottom strand over the middle one and then add some extra hair to the bottom strand. So I twist the strands add some hair to one of them twist them again and so on. Our twist should follow a spiral path. So just imagine a spiral and keep twisting your strands rights about. I had really thin sections of hair at a time trying to leave as much loose hair as possible. So roughly I'm going to leave half of my hair loss to finish of the spiral off. First. Let'S twist the ends without I didn't extra hair, the trick to keep it secure is to twist the strands in the same clockwise direction, while twisting individual strands in the opposite, counterclockwise direction. This way we're going to create a basic rope, braid tight, pants with an elastic and wrap the braid along the edge of the spiral. Tuck the ends under the square and secure them with bobby pins, now bring all the loose hair to the back and pin it with bobby pin straight under the spiral we're going to divide the ends into three equal sections and use each of them to create a Roll secure it with bobby pins right next to each other, it'll, look like a single, continuous roll spray, your abs over the hairspray and you're ready to go.
