Today, we'll be discussing a topic brought up by a youtuber named queen chioma concerning black women and whether they have the ability to grow long hair. The fact that it is 20 20 - and we are still having this conversation - is absolutely ludicrous in queen chioma's video. She brought up an incident that happened with super peach from the rap game. Super peach is an up-and-coming atlanta-based female rapper who has been rapping since a very young age. In 2016, she became a contestant on the show, the rap game which blasted her into the limelight super peach was definitely a force to be reckoned with, on the show. Her lyrical ability and her personality left many with the expectation that she will be great in queen chioma's video. She talks about a video super peach had posted on social media in the video super peach allegedly talks about an incident where she is out with her mom and a group of fans spot her and greet her. Then, within hearing distance of her, they allegedly proceeded to discuss her hair openly, stating that her hair was fake and that she had microlinks. They allegedly stated things like they know when a bee has clip ends and that's why her hair wasn't parted down the middle. To see the full clip please go to queen chioma's video, i would first like to point out something before starting the conversation about hair. The first thing i would like to discuss is envy whether her hair is real or not is not the problem. The problem is the girl's reaction envy james 3 16 states for where envy and strife is there is confusion in every evil work. Another bible quote that talks about envy is james. 4. 2-3. You want things, but you don't get them so you kill and are jealous of others, but you still cannot get what you want. So you argue and fight you don't get what you want, because you don't ask god or when you ask you don't receive anything, because the reason you ask is wrong. You only want to use it for your own pleasure. I put the second one in the easy to read version, so it is easy to understand, but definitely go and read the king james version. It is okay to want some things in this life. Sometimes we want a better paying job, a better living condition. We want to escape poverty, we want a new car, we want to be successful, we want to grow long hair, but it is never okay to be jealous of what other people have, and it is even worse to act upon that jealousy. What these girls did was just that they saw something they really wanted, became jealous and proceeded to act upon that jealousy. It is normal, sometimes to feel jealous about something someone has. We are all human. After all, what changes next depends on how you react, for instance, you have identified that you are jealous next step is to condemn those thoughts. Those thoughts are not you and have no place in you. That'S not how god made you never embrace jealousy jealousy, can lead to bad character traits like lying, an old liberian proverb. States. If you can lie, you can steal, and if you can steal you can kill now about super peach's hair. Super peach has always had long hair, and it shows even more because super peach has 3b 3c and some 4a textures in her hair. The looser your curl pattern is the more obvious your hair length is. If you have four textured hair, it is harder to visibly see your hair length. So, yes, you could have waist length hair, but due to shrinkage, your hair will present at shoulder length. Jasso. This channel's owner has type 4 waist length hair. You would never know it until she blows her hair out or straightens it. This is normal and it is a blessing from god in disguise. Have you ever tried to wear your long hair out in the summer exactly talk about he rash and being uncomfortable? We have the blessing to stretch out our hair and then let it shrink back to a shorter length. Another point i would like to bring up is super peach's height. Super peach is a very petite short gorgeous young woman. Due to her height, she is able to reach waist length hair faster than someone who is tall, for instance, once again, jasso who this channel belongs to is 5 10.. It would obviously take her a longer time to reach waistline hair than for someone who is 5'2. If you were to measure jossle's hair out, cut it off and stick it on a woman who was five two her hair would look crazy long on that woman. Next, let's talk about the false narrative that black women can't grow hair. Obviously, this is a narrative that needs to die. Having long hair in the black community is made to seem as though it is an uncommon thing, when it can be seen as something that is common, we have control of the narrative by continuously doubting whether every black woman hair is real or not outwardly, and so Publicly, it is counter-intuitive to the narrative we want to be pushed. This becomes a problem because now we see women of other races, seeing a black woman with her hair telling her hair is nice and feeling comfortable to openly ask her whether her hair is real or not, and sometimes they ask in very public settings in front of Many people and it can be humiliating, sometimes so, the next time you see a black woman with long hair, just say i like your hair and keep it moving. If you think it is hair, extensions call her to the side and ask her where she got her hair from. If you want to ask someone about their hair, greet them, compliment them and then ask nicely if these young, ladies, would have come up to super peach with a mask of course and told her. Her hair was beautiful and asked her about her and asked her about it in a nice manner. If it was all hers and if it is, does she have any tips to grow long hair, she would have been telling a different story. Her mother is a hairdresser for goodness sakes. She must definitely have some awesome tips for hair growth. It'S all about your manner of approach. At the end of the day, it doesn't matter if society thinks black women can grow long, hair or not. What matters is if you believe that you can grow long hair, that's why you should subscribe to this channel. Jocel has a lot of good hair tips on how to work with and grow kinky coily hair, as well as a lot of interesting, fresh content concerning hair. Also, we have a really big project coming soon, so, although our content right now might be limited once the project drops, it's game on. This topic is actually too long to cover in one part, so in part two we will be discussing wigs and weeds and whether or not it plays a role. In the reason, no one believes black women can grow long hair and our personal attitudes amongst us in the black community concerning wigs and weaves and black hair. So thanks for watching stick around if you're struggling with hair growth and you would like to grow for textured hair bye, you

Lynuda La Rocque: Am I weird for generally assuming (except for those time when you can just see the lace) that it's their hair? But if the hair is nice, whether it is the person's or not doesn't matter. If still looks good, all them saying that's it fake means is that you too can have the style.

Princess Nandi: One reason why some black women cant grown hair as long as white people is for 1, some our hair is kinky so the oil from our scalp doesn't reach the ends of our hair while since some white peoples hair is straight, its easier. NUMBER TWO, we have African Origin and the sun is super hot in Africa, there was no point in having super long hair especially in such hot temperatures. Honestly, I'm still trying to love my 4c hair but I just wish it would grow longer. Some people just have it better... I'm not referring to white people, just people with longer/looser curl patterns.

Natural_Stay_Beauty_ Forever: Black women cannot grow white peoples hair naturally on their head but they can grow healthy afro hair on their head! Mine grow!
