Youtube'S, just with link babe you're too obsessed with it, stop it chill. Let'S talk about it, let's tell let's chat, i am currently outside. So if you hear like the beautiful nature, sounds that i kind of don't apologize because it's a really nice day outside and i thought i would record a video right now. So, let's talk about it, babes to my beautiful melon, queens to my beautiful melanin kings and to my other beautiful babies that are not black. Welcome to my channel. This is countless melanin, aka, monique george and we're having a mocha, and today's chat is definitely going to be about black women's obsession with the length of their hair. I think that it's becoming a disease of the mind at this point, but at the same time, i don't really think it's black women's fault for being this way and thinking this way, because for so long, not even just because of white supremacy, black women's worth has Been defined in the length of their hair, even when we're dating you will find that you will attract different type of men when your hair is like this and when you're wearing facts, it's straight facts, for whatever reason you attract certain type of man with a look At your hair and black women can attest to this because i know they know it's true, because i know it's true. Okay, i attract different types of men. When i have my hair like this, and when i have my hair and some weeds or a lace front. Man, it's just fast. I had to cut some of that out oopsie, but back to what i was saying. I feel like women, black women were so obsessed with the length, and i see so many black women who go natural and i've done it as well. In the past, have this sort of hate towards shrinkage? I see so many black women say it's shrinkage, look at this shrinkage and they say it in such a bad way like the shrinkage is bad. When you went natural, the point was not to have long hair. It was the point of going nuts was to have healthy hair, and i don't want to be rude or anything, but some black women won't have long hair, naturally, in terms of not having to manipulate it in any way, but any type of product that manipulates your Hair to stretch it out no type of product that manipulates it, like generally, your hair, naturally being lengthy and there's actually not a problem with it. That'S not a problem at all, and i don't know why black women hate their shrinkage so much because, from my understanding triggers is a good thing. That means your curls are healthy. That means your hair is healthy and you surprise your shrinkage and look at it as a beautiful thing, because for me i look at shrink is like wow. This is so amazing. Look at what my hair can do. It can stretch. It'S all. That'S amazing to me and like i don't know why black women hate it so much but the same time. I do because not only is it because of racism from white people, but it also comes from the black men in our community and other black women. But a lot of black men - okay, i know there's some black men might deny this, but a lot of black women have been told. Oh, your hair is so nappy. I like red bones. I like women that look like this. No, no! I, like women, that look like this, not women like you, i don't like women like that, absolutely not! Okay. I keep looking over because i feel like it's almost like looking like walking behind me. I don't know it's in my head, it's in my head because i feel like someone's walking behind me. I keep like turning around so i'm like i'm ready to fight at any time. Okay, trying to pull up on me sweetheart, you will get whooped, okay, whoever back there cats and all boo period, but back to what i'm talking about so yeah. It'S a lot of black men that will tell black women and their hair is nappy and basically make black women feel like they're ugly, with their natural hair, and you know, naturally, a lot of black women have short hair. I i don't know i hate that there's so much value putting the length of your hair, but i'm here to make this video to tell you to focus more on the health of your hair. That'S the point of why you went natural. That should have been the point of why you went natural and if you need a reminder of that, then i'm going to tell you because it shouldn't your goal, really shouldn't be to have long hair. Your goal should be to have healthy hair. Then you go natural because you want to have healthy hair and you want to embrace your natural hair, because your natural hair may just look like this unmanipulated and it looks short, but what's wrong with short hair. I know plenty of black women with beautiful short hair, and i think that we need to praise women for having short hair more and remind your hair. Like your hair. Is your crown black woman, but also it's not the most important thing in terms of length. Your value is not in the length of your hair health over length. Babe. Remember that it's health over length - and it's so terrible - i see so many videos and so much hate, but i myself used to do the same thing. Actually i used to talk about yeah. It'S just shrinkage and if i find myself doing that, i will remind myself not to say that, because i embrace my hair, i also by the way i use some white hair wax. But my hair does look gray, but we're going to say it's white babe, but i really like this color a lot. I'M gon na stick with it. I bought some more hair wax if you needed this. No promotion babe because we're small youtubers. We don't got no promo going on here with a brand company or anything like that. But i'm here to tell you color your hair babe, because there's try the rainbow babe. Don'T let anybody tell you can't try the colors, i'm trying them all. You know. I told myself. I wasn't even gon na try green, but i'm gon na your girl's gon na do green next, but i'm in love with this i'm gon na stick with this. This could be like my look look. You know like that thing that you got like yeah, i'm not trying to get off topic vapes, but get some hair wax, don't use, no bleach babe, don't lose no dye babe. I know that this is messy, but it's way better than damaging your hair. Okay, get some dye not die, get some hair wax girl period, but yeah. I don't really like how black women obsess over it. It'S a really terrible thing and i wish that black women wouldn't do it, but at the same time i know why they do so. If you're one of those women who also tell black women that they're basically not worthy because they don't have long hair. I don't like you, we can't be friends, don't talk to me, okay, because i don't like women like that. Absolutely not embracing your crown means that you embrace its shrinkage. You embrace all aspects of it. I'M tired of the slander like i'm way too obsessed with it, and it's just becoming an obsession like i even know women that will ask for the women. How long is your hair and it's just stuff of that nature? How long is it they don't even like some women may not even compliment you. Men too, some won't even compliment you. They all just tell you: how long is it or wow your hair was long. You, you barely get those type of comments towards um. Oh, i get comments towards my hair and it's not that it really matters, but there it shouldn't be like that. It just simply shouldn't be like that, and it's just terrible - it's kind of annoying at this point, but just it's annoying, because there's so much that goes into it and why black women are obsessed with it. It'S really not their fault. Society basically told them this. So i'm trying to basically go against society and tell you to do your thing, but also embrace your hair, there's nothing wrong with it. I know i talked to my friend and she said she looks like a boy, but it's like sis as long as you have healthy hair, there's nothing wrong with it and i think also it has a lot to do with appearance and trying to attract people or Trying to look good again goes into having putting your worth into the length of your hair rather than the health of your hair. So a lot of black women may want to attract black men by having long hair because a lot of black men and men - you know, don't don't do that, because you would want a man to love you for your natural hair for your natural appearance. So that's something that you should strive for for the men that you might be dating northern women too. Okay strive for someone who embraces your natural look, babe it. It shouldn't, be like you're trying to be something that you're not or you're trying to appear again. I'M sorry if it's like super windy, because i know that probably the wind sounds like altering this video, but i don't care it's fine, but yeah babe. It'S tragedy, um yeah. It shouldn't be like that. It shouldn't be like that at all, and this is a reminder. Video, i feel, like my videos, are so short, but this is because i'm just starting out - and i don't i feel like i could get a lot said through like small videos but as time goes on, i will make them longer for right now we're going to Make them short, but i wanted to stress the importance of loving your hair, the way that it is and not obsessing over the length and rather the health. So if you needed a reminder here, it is, and i'm so glad that you clicked on this video and i hope you subscribe and hit the notification bell for more of my rants and more and more chats of the future thanks. You

Atomaticbill T: Hun naturaly most Black women don't have short hair, even black women back in the day had long hair and afros. I get what your saying about accepting short hair, but most of us don't have short hair unless we cut it, also women of every race obsess over hair, asian women are super obsessed with it, they have a ton of videos on it and alot of white women like to keep their hair on the longer side or get extensions, so this isn't a black thing. We put too much emphasis on black women when really it's a woman thing that's all.
