@divyakatna

Hi everyone welcome back to my channel. Today'S video is one of the most requested videos on my channel, and that is on how I trimmed my head. I'Ve been doing this for years and I finally gathered enough knowledge to do this on camera with you all. So I talked back out there. This is the current condition of my hair they're. Very long. I'Ve always had very long hair, not even much fun. You know I had short hair at any point. I have had at least a minimum waist-length hair or even longer. In fact, now we are going to start off with doing the high ponytail you can. If we can do higher than this, I think it would be better. This is the max I can do so. I'M gon na make sure that my ponytail is really secure and tight and it doesn't move when I am cutting the hair. Now, once that's done, you can easily recognize the ends are really dry and they needed trim. So a ponytail is a good way to understand whether your hair is in a need for a trim or not. Now I'm going to just flip over my ponytail and smoothen the length and I'll decide how much I want to cut. So this is the portion that I want to cut because it's really dead and something I don't want, so I'm going to use a nice sharp pair of scissors for this. This is a little bigger than the normal medium sizes that we generally use so make sure that yes, this is really sharp and it's very crisp. Now I'm going to try to cut the hair in a straight line as much as possible, and once that's done, you can see. The ends looks so much better than earlier, and now we have to open the ponytail and we are going to make a clean crisp center parting. Now this step is important to you know, give your trim a nice clean. Look because you know when you're trimming your hair yourself using the ponytail hack, you might not get a crisp clean lines. So to do that, you have to do this second step so you're going to make a clean nice single sense center parting and then bring both the sides together and then tie them into a front ponytail, basically and then again, smooth out the length and then decide How much you want to cut everything? That'S going, haywire just bring them together and cut it in a straight line again, so that whenever you open your hair and you have a center parting, you know. Basically, your hair and the front should look in harmony. Should look that they are, you know they are in sync, with each other, both the sides and yeah - that's pretty much it. The lengths are done now and you can see how healthy and happy my hair look right now and honestly. It feels suddenly feels that your hair are really denser. They are very healthy and no joking guys it really does work trimming. Your hair is a very good practice and everybody should do that. You know once in three months for sure now, I'm with the help of the arc of my eyebrow, I'm going to create a triangle in the front. Basically I am trimming the you know the Front's of my hair. I like a nice. Oh, you know I don't really like small banks, but I do like this long Bank so that you know you can style it in a different ways right, so I feel it gives. You gives a lot of structure to the face and to different hair styles. So I like doing that, otherwise, I'm a very straight cut person, so yeah again we having to smoothen the section once the triangle is created and we're going to twist it like so and then decide how much we want to cut and then again, with the same Pair of scissors we're going to cut it now. The triangle helps you achieve a very nice bounce and the hack where I said you have to twist. It also helps you achieve a very nice fall of the front banks, so I just show you how it looks and I feel it or it looks really amazing the way the the front banks you know kind of set of flow with rest of the hair. This is the final look. I know my hair still look very long because I'm not a short hair person yet, but I do wish to you know, go very short once I have that salt-and-pepper. Look! That'S what I've been thinking to do for a very long time. So that was all for this video. I hope you liked it. I ended up trimming the Front's of my hair as well, that wasn't the original plan, but I really love how clean my hair look right now and how healthy they look all together. I do recommend trimming once every three months because it helps getting rid of dry ends and it helps the legs just grow longer. So yeah, that's something that has worked out for me over the years as well. So I feel that you know that can help someone out there as well so yeah also quickly. Remember I'm not here to tell you what you should do, how you should do, I'm only here to tell you what works for me and how I do it. So if you're somebody who has a similar hair type of hair texture like me, then you can probably give this a try if you are still hesitant to visit others - and it won't, you know, want to give your hair a healthy boost during the pandemic. Then this probably you can try it's easy. It'S simple! It'S fast, free, so yeah. That was all for this video. I hope you liked it and you are taking something from this video today. I will see you guys soon, then move back together.
