Adaptable Toddler Hairstyle For Short To Long Hair

I know that every little girl has different hair, ranging from short to long, thick and thin, curly and straight. I wanted to offer a progressive and adaptable toddler hairstyle for short to long hair.

The first option only takes 5 minutes and can be done on hair as short as chin length. For the second option, you do need hair that is about shoulder length and the last option, you need just over 10 minutes and hair that is medium to long in length.

Most of my styles can be adapted to your little one's hair, but I wanted to give you an idea on how you can do it. That way, if you see a style that we do and you aren't sure if it's doable on your toddler or little girl's hair, you know that you can always change it up!

Enjoy!

Welcome back to easy toddler hairstyles. Today, we are showing you a progressive style, which means that it can be adapted for short to medium to long hair and also depending on how much time you have to do care in the morning. 5 minutes 10 minutes, or maybe a couple minutes more than that. You choose when you stop the hairstyle [ Applause ]. This first option is a headband style with a little bit of a twist, since it's got triangle parts on the side, I'm going to start by sectioning out about two to three inches up in the front and coming back about two to three inches and making this First Center ponytail from here I'm going to make another section, that's equally as big on the right and left side, leaving down a little bit of hair right by the ear. Once I have this part done, I'm simply going to secure the rest back into a ponytail from here. I'M going to take this section and part it at a diagonal down the middle. This is going to create the triangle shape for both sides. So one is a forwards triangle and the other section part is a backwards triangle from here. I'M just sectioning both of these into ponytails. You want to keep the elastic close to the scalp so that your ponytail doesn't stick out if you're choosing to just use it. As an elastic style, we're going to do the same thing on the other side, I'm just using water and spray gel, and then I am going to section this right down the middle. So I get that cute triangle parting again and then I'll just smooth it out and add elastics on both sides, and that is our first option for this hairstyle, which only takes about five minutes. If your little one has hair that is shoulder length or longer, or you have about 10 minutes, you can continue on with the style we're going to take the second ponytails in pink and I'm simply going to create a regular three strand braid about 3/4 of the Way down the hair and it's going to depend on how long your child's hair as to how long this braid is but it'll it will make more sense once we get to the part that we start adding them all together. So I am braiding the other side. The other triangle on the right side, which is the one with the other pink elastic and once I've got it about 3/4 of the way braided I'm going to split the middie middle ponytail in half, I'm going to twist it twist the ponytail on the far right And add all three of these sections together down about two inches, we're going to repeat this on the other side, twisting the hair on the right and the far left to add to this braid I like to twist the hair, because I feel like it gives it A neater appearance when I'm adding it from here I'm just going to take both these ponytails and I'm going to attach them below the level of where your braids end, so that you get that fun, elastic accent and I'm just going to add an elastic here. So that is our finished style. If you want to do this second step, this last option is simply adding a ponytail at the bottom. If you need the hair all up and don't want it, half up for the day, give us a big thumbs up and don't forget to subscribe. We'Ll see you next week, yeah bye, bye,
