Baggy Method Saved My Dry Ends - How To Get Healthy Long Hair With The Baggy Method

Hey guys welcome back to my channel and welcome back to this highly requested, relax hair video. Today, i'm going to show you how i am fighting the dryness and how i keep my hair moisturized. So i've been wearing my hair in a bun and i'm just going to unwrap my hair and detangle it. So i just want to show you my ends. My ends are the driest part of my hair and i'm going to show you something that i learned i'm going to comb my hair and then i'm going to make my sections i like to section my hair in full. So it's easier to work with my scalp is really moisturized. The only thing is my hair. My hair has been very dry and this method i found leaves my hair so soft and moisturized, and i thought i should share it with you guys because i've been getting the question. How is my hair so moisturized a lot in the comment section, so i'm just sectioning my hair into four sections and then i'm going to pin the sections that i'm not working with just so the hair is out of the way. So this is the section i'm starting with and i am just going to comb through it to make sure i don't have any knots and tangles. Then i'm going to grab my hair growth mist and i'm going to spritz this over my hair. My hair isn't going to be wet. I just want my hair damp and i'm going to focus it on the ends, because that is the reason why i'm moisturizing today my ends just spray it and then i'm going to rub it through my hair section, my hair in half and then just spray. The sections because i find the middle part is neglected and then i'm just going to work through that mist all through my hair, so over here is done. Okay, i'm admitting that a couple things i said got acidic my next step. I'M going to grab my secret hair growth, oil and i am going to make partings in my hair and apply it directly onto my scalp, and you will see me working it in with my finger. This has been a game changer. For me, my scalp is moisturized, but also i have seen my hair grow more rapidly. Ever since i started mixing this oil, please don't come for me, but the hair oil will be available very soon. I just want everything to be just right before i start selling it. So i'm applying this to my scalp and the roots of my hair and i'm just gently rubbing it in with my finger. I am going to be giving myself a bit of a scalp, massage um, once i've done this entire section. I love using this oil for scalp massages, because some of the ingredients encourage blood circulation and also the in blood, so having good blood circulation will ensure that your hair is growing. So i am giving myself a scalp massage just breaking my fingertips in a circular motion. Rubbing the oil into my scalp - and this will help it absorb, but also it will encourage blood circulation. As i said, then, i'm going to work it through to the ends of my hair. Rub some of the oil onto my palms and work it through the length of my hair. Give me what i need. Instead, then, i'm going to grab one of my favorites, the ors olive moisturizing, hair lotion, and i'm going to put some of that onto my palm. Rub it together and then work it through the length of my hair. This is just me sealing in that moisture and the oil, and i love this because it's not really greasy, but it moisturizes my hair quite well, and when your hair is moisturized, it will help you retain length even more so i'm just going to zip through the Next section, i'm going to undo this section detangle it with my white tooth comb and then i'm going in with the growth mist just spraying it. So my hair is damp and then going in on those ends, because those are the driest parts of my hair sectioning. My hair and applying my growth oil and then going in with my fingertips to give myself a scalp massage. Lastly, i am going in with my moisturizing hair lotion from ors and i'm going to work that through the length of my hair - and that is basically it you will see. My hair has nice sheen to it. It looks moisturized and it feels really really soft. I'M just going to tie away this section, so i can do the other side stay tuned, because the secret to my moisturizing seal routine is almost right at the end of the video. I do use the oil on my hairline just so my hairline remains intact. So i don't want to bore you. I just repeated the process on the other half of my hair and now that it's done i'm going to comb my hair back, making sure i don't have any tangles in it and then i'm going to put it up in a bun. I'M not tying it too tightly because i am going to bed and i don't want to give myself a headache, but also i don't want to pull on my edges and hairline [ Applause ]. So this is the part where it gets interesting. I bought this pack of shower caps from this camp and i'm just going to take one of the shower caps and i'm going to wrap it around my bun. This is called the baggy method or the greenhouse method, and what i'm doing is i'm going to put my hair in this plastic bag overnight? Just so, it gets to retain as much of the moisture as possible and i'm just wrapping the shower cap over my bun. If you want to, you can tie it with another scrunchie, but that will suffice for me. Another way to do it is just putting the shower cap over my entire head. So all my hair can reap the benefits, so i'm just placing that shower cap over my head and then i'm going to take my bonnet put it over the shower cap and just to secure it because it could slip off. I'M going to take um a cotton head, hair scarf and i'm just going to tie it around my head, like i usually would, and this will keep it secure, but also it will give it warmth. So my hair will be reaping all the benefits from the baggie method, and that is it. This is how i've been keeping my hair moisturized.
