Hi everyone welcome back or to my channel, as you can probably tell i'm going to be talking about my hair and how i finally managed to grow it out and keep it healthy. Okay, so my hair is destroyed by a hair mask left on for too long. No matter what i did it just wouldn't stop breaking off at the ends, preventing it from going longer. This is what my hair looks like now, after following the routine and hair rolls i'm going to share with you. Obviously i cannot prevent 100 of hair breakage or split ends, but you can clearly see my hair is much longer thicker and healthier. Looking. I do want to mention the videos where my hair looks more straight. I just had my hair done, hence the flat iron. Look. The videos where my hair is more wavy and crimpy looking is my natural air, dried, no heat, which is 99 of the time. This is just the front view. Please don't ask what i'm doing on the right side. I just really liked my hair that day. Okay, so the first thing, and probably one of the most important tips - is using a water filter when washing your hair. This is also really good for your skin if your home doesn't have a water filter system. This is what you can use. There are many on the market, but this is the one i use you can get different filters as well. The replacement one shown has the original benefits, as well as vitamin c for even more benefits. It is very important to make sure the filter you use filters out chlorine which is really damaging to your hair and skin. What i love about these filters is that you can literally take them anywhere with you. I bring mine wherever i travel to even germany and australia, proof that i feel very strongly about how important the water filter is. The first two are when i was in melbourne. I had to buy a sink filter because we stayed in an old hostel and it just had like a spout thing that came out of the wall, not what i call a regular shower head. So i couldn't put my filter on it and, like i said, i only use filtered water. The other pictures is when i couldn't reach our shower head in our room, but i found one outside in a public area next to the pool. So i literally made a trash can dress, so i could wash my hair with the filter. The next is oliplex. I use olipox because i honestly see the most benefits from this brand when it comes to my hair length and health. However, i do think that most of the benefit comes from the way i use the number two product. I use the shampoo conditioner and number two once a week on my hair washing day after i shampoo and condition my hair. I squeeze my hair up and down a few times to get as much water out as possible. Then i just basically take a towel and kind of lay it on my head and hair, then press and do whatever motions i'm doing in the video to get a little more water out of my hair to where the hair is just damp. Now it's finally time to put the number two on by rubbing it between my hands, i just kind of pat it and run it through my hair after the top half, i get some more and do the ends and then, whatever extra i put in the middle Okay, so this is just what it looks like after i do those steps, and then i just let my hair air dry next is about brushing my hair. I only brush my hair when it's dry. The black brush is a wet brush, not the brand, but the type of brush it is, which is what i mainly use. However, if you're someone that absolutely has to or wants to brush your hair when it's wet, i feel like the tangle. Teezer is the best option, which is the pink one: okay, so after using the water filter, a laplex air drying and brushing my hairs, this is what it looks like my mother was about to fall off the balcony, trying to fit all of my hairs from top To bottom, but this is most of it. The next tip is about heat, which is also a really important one. I do not use any heat on my hair, except, if i'm getting my hairs done also, if i'm out in the sun for a really long time. I keep my hair protected, usually by covering it with a hood or tucking the ends inside my top okay, so 99 of the time i do not get my hair wet in any body of water that is unfiltered like oceans, pools and lakes, no matter how tempting Or beautiful they are, however, if you want to, i would definitely limit the amount you do and also protect it with coconut oil or something that will repel water and use a swim cap. The reason i say to use both is because i got a swim cap for surfing, but the water still leaked through. So that's why i say: use both forms of protection also make sure to wash your hair as soon as possible. After getting out of those kinds of waters so that the unfiltered water does not sit on your hair, this one is always the hardest for me because i hate cutting my hair, but i've learned the hard way it is very necessary when it comes to growing my Hair longer so, when growing out your hair, it is still important to get your hair cut, but only cut the split ends. So you should be cutting less than what your hair is growing out at the top and preventing the ends from splitting up, causing your hair to grow, shorter and negating the hair growth. So again only the split ends drink a bunch of water. I average one gallon a day. The last tip won't apply to everyone, but for people who bleach their hair. Like me, i do not go above a 20 developer and i only have the roots highlighted. I do not touch what is already blonde. Lastly, please keep in mind: there is no way to actually speed up a person's hair growth. The average leg it says is about a half an inch a month or six inches a year. This is true for me. As you can see, i went one full year without having it colored and my roots were grown out six inches on each side. This also proves that your hair does grow. It might just be breaking off at the end. Making you think your hair isn't growing, which is where the tips in this video come in. Okay, guys, that's it! Thank you so much for watching this video. I hope these tips can help if you like this video, please give it a thumbs up and subscribe to. My channel
