How To Pin Curls Your Hair For Wigs | Lazy Dancer Tips
In this video I'll show you two methods to to pin curl you hair for wig application, the way I do it and the way my hairdresser does it.
I’m sure at some point of your stage career you will come across a wig, so why not learn how to prepare for it.
I’ve shown here how to do it in two simple quick ways, the common pin curls and the wrap around. if you have long hair both ways are good, if you have short hair and cannot curl the locks around your fingers, you might want to go with the “wrap around” version.

Here we go how I do it pretty straightforward lots of bobby pins grab a coffee lock twist it around in your fingers and kind of making not start from the top of your head and make your way down so one on the top one of the side. Speedy other side same thing, one at the top and one at the side. Don'T worry, they're, not perfect. That'S okay! We need an extra pin, use an extra pin twist and not and pin two at the top back same thing, slightly bigger people passing by a letter at the terror that the cassandra' yeah, maybe another time bottom sighs beam it back. The business come on people last. It, oh forgot one, hmm sorry, so you kind of should look like a nest at the moment. Again. Don'T worry, if is a bit messy you've done about yourself, because uh now now is the fun part you get to wear a stocking on your head. Stocking put it on there on your head, obviously tied you with our beloved telco and use a very thin little little pens and stick it into the stocking front back side always go around the head, pull it tight, otherwise, look like a smurf keep doing up done. Easy peasy - and this is how Melissa doesn't divide the herring and then start Lock by lock to wrap her around your heads like us. A Christmas present go from one side to the other twist around and just around just like that. Nice meliss, nice we'd like this. I like getting pumpers every now and then same thing stocking over the head tidy up and then she uses funky clips, which they're also used for microphones all the way around and then are you do your bankroll? Dea Carey: Thanks! I never wear a wig for dance, but I'm going to a geek convention this weekend. I'm doing a Sybil Trelawney costume Saturday (complete with wild wig), followed by an Art Nouveau-inspired costume that night. A friend told me about the pin curls trick, and that will definitely give me a head start on soft curls!

singndance: I was shown this method (though with smaller pincurls), with an optional extra bit. If you use a mesh wig cap, you can remove the bobby pins before you put your wig on. Then, after you take the wig off, you can remove the wig cap and voila - a nicely waved 'do instead of "wig hair".
