How-To Hair | Romantic Side Swept Curls With Stephanie Brinkerhoff | Ghd Platinum

Bridal hair expert Stephanie Brinkerhoff creates romantic side swept curls using ghd platinum.

Hey guys, I'm step with hair and makeup my stuff and I'm going to be showing you how to do a soft romantic side swept style, but one that will stay in all day before I start curling, I'm going to add some back combing and some hairspray to Her roots, so I'm going to be curling with the GHD Platinum, put the styler in our roots and do a full 360 degree turn before I even start moving down and then I'm just going to pull out and you can see on going pretty slow. If you go too fast, you just won't get enough of a curl and then I'm going to kind of twist it with my fingers. Okay, so now you can see that all of her hair is prepped. I have a lot of back combing through her roots. There'S good texture, hairspray and everything has been curled with the styler, giving us these nice soft curls. I want to do the top of her hair and the heavy side of the hair is last. So I'm going to section those out for later, I'm going to grab the hair line going from the opposite ear and then I'm going to grab another section of hair right behind her other ear. And I'm going to put these two sections and a low ponytail over here once I have the elastic in you can see, I have all of the hair pulled over there, keeping it nice and secure I'm just going to flip this inside out and pull on these Sections on the sides to loosen them and make them nice and soft. So at this point I'm going to let down the top section and sweep it all over to the side and get this pinned in place, I'm just going to slide them in one. At a time - and you can see since I have all that back combing in her roots, its folding really well really easy. All I have to do is just place a couple bobby pins in here and there and that's all going to stay to the side. The last step is just to finish with the heavy side, so I'm just going to take out that clip and then loosely sweep this back a little bit. So I'm just going to hide a couple bobby pins in there to keep that in place, and that is how I would do a simple side swept style thanks. So much for watching guys.
