Hey guys, so today's video is another quick and easy updo. So before we begin we're just going to start with styling our hair, so I'm going to take the silk elements. He protectant. Everyone should start out with a heat protectant. If you know you're gon na curl. Your hair, that way, you don't damage it enough, so I'm gon na take this Amica. I believe it's a and one-inch iron, I want to say, don't hold me to it, but it looks like a one-inch. So I'm just gon na take small sections of hair and wrap them around the curling iron. I'M not gon na do anything special we're just literally wrapping our hair around the curling iron. So this, basically, what we're doing here is just prepping our hair for the updo. So you definitely want to make sure that you prep your hair before you do an updo just because it makes your hair that much easier to work with it gives it texture it gives it style. It just is going to make your updo look so much better. So I highly recommend styling and prepping your hair prior to doing an updo like I'm about to do and you'll see when I get to the back of my head, when your hair is already prepped and curled, it just makes it easier to do this style that We'Re about to do so just a little tip for ya, so you can see we just added a little bit of curls, nothing special. I also did put in a texture spray which I forgot to show, but I did do that so now. I'M just gon na gather a section of hair in the back of my head twist it and then bobby, pin it into the place. So I flip my bobby pins upside down and then I just shove it into my hair, usually kind of going diagonal and I'm going to do that on the opposite side, and then I like to put one bobby, pin just going horizontal. That way. I know I have everything nice and secure and it's not going to move throughout the day or night. So then I'm going to leave hair out in the front on both sides and then I meditate the rest of the hair. That'S in the back and just kind of twist it one way like I'm going to show you here. So I'm twisting it around my finger and then kind of pulling it out pancaking it to give it a little bit more texture and make it look a little more loose. Then I'm just gon na wrap it around itself to create a little bun and then I'm gon na bobby pin it into place, as I am wrapping the bun around itself. So just use as many bobby pins as you need to use until it feels secure and then just finish, wrapping it around and Bobby pinning it. My favourite bobby pins are the medical ones from Sally Beauty. I feel like I've mentioned this many times, but they are amazing for the care than hair, normal hair, all kinds of hair. So then, I'm just gon na pull out the bun and just kind of fluff it out a little bit so that it's a little bigger and just kind of bobby pin what you need to bobby, pin and then we're gon na. Take the hair in the front. Just a section and we're gon na twist it and then pull it out and then I'm just gon na drape that across our bun that we'd created and then I'm just going to bobby, pin it on the other side of my head and I'm just pushing the Bobby pin into the button, then I'm going to take another small section from the other side twist it and then pull it out, take it across the bun and then bobby. Pin that to the other side of your head, pushing the bobby pin into the button. So then, what the hair that is left on this side we're just going to gather it all together. I did leave a little bit of bangs out and you'll see why later but yeah, I'm just going to take that pull it across kind of bobby pin on the side that we were working from and then the opposite type side too, and then, with a section From the other side do the same thing, pull it and then just kind of bobby pin it where you need to and again on this side. I did leave hair out in the front and I will show you what we are going to do with that here. In just a minute and it's okay to have end sticking out like I do here, it's gon na give it that messy kind of undone look. So now, I'm just gon na take some of those Bane's and I'm just going to bring them back and then bobby. Pin them into place and then I'm gon na kind of pull on some of the twists pull on the top of the head. Just make everything, look more messy and lived-in, and undone and textured, and all that fun stuff. So then, just kind of bobby pin as you need to pull stuff apart, as you need to look at that face and yeah. So here I'm just continuing to pull stuff out yeah. Now I'm going back to my curling iron and just curling kind of touching up the sides that I need to, and I am going to take a section and just kind of bobby pin that hair back nothing special, just twisting it and Bobby pinning towards the back Of the head - and I do it on the other side too, but I forgot to show it and then I do use hairspray. I use the Paul Mitchell one. I didn't show that either I stock but yeah use the hairspray of your desire, one that is preferably going to hold your hair all night. So then this is what it looks like. This is seriously perfect for weddings, perfect for bridesmaid hair. If you're feeling fancy for work or school girl, this is it if you just, I don't know, want to wear this to run errands go for it. I mean this is such a versatile hairstyle put a couple like clips in to dress it up even more, but I love this hairstyle. I love how it looks I love it.
