Hi everyone and welcome back to my channel. So as you can see from today's title, I decided to do like an updated version on my at-home pin curl curl kind of situation, the last video that I did. I think I did it two years ago, while I lived in Toronto that fit or that video was filmed and - and it is my most viewed - video on YouTube but has over half a million views, which is terrifying. So I thought I'd do a bit of an updated version. Obviously massive disclaimer, I'm not a hairdresser, I'm not. I don't really know what I'm doing, but all I know is that what I've been doing for the last few years to achieve my climbing curls, add a bit of volume in my hair. It works for me, so I thought I would just share my tips again. I mentor a few products and tools in this video I would have them linked down below. I also didn't go into too much detail about the hair in my net. I have extensions, and so just a quick brief. I have tape extensions in my hair. There are these lots, so I have tapes in my hair. I'M not sure how many I have. Oh, I couldn't even tell you and I get my hair extensions done by platinum, extensions on denier Street I've been getting extensions there for three or four years now. I think - and this is my second time how to take extensions in and I want to stick to the tapes. Definitely if you're new here and you've never seen my videos hi, my name is Ellie. I would love if you could subscribe. It means a lot to me. Well yeah, I think that's more or less. If you have any questions at all and please do leave them in the comments I'll be in the comments on this. Video is life, and this intro is way too long, and I hope you won't enjoy so my hair is candy wet after minute, I'm gon na run through some of the products that I use in the shower. I never tired to shower really quickly, just in case anybody was wondering and then takes a porosity below. So after a minute to wash and my hair, my scalp has been really really dry, so ona, who own hair extensions and where I get my sentience John sent me at the alpha percent meeting. You know purifying low shampoo, which is sulfate free. Obviously, because I have my extensions, then I just use the other perf masks as well. So and it's just the reparative mask, I need them linked down below anyway, but all of these products you can buy from platinum as well, both because it's just a little mask for you. So I use that as a conditioner, I haven't actually put any product in my hair as of yet I just you should be taking it over till after the shower, and I do like to put a little bit of something in my hair before I blow drying It so some of the products that I reach for I'm not try saying the products that you reach for the most. I think that's a good thing just to give my hair a little bit of protection or moisture before I blow it right, and this is the Platinum luxury, hair extension, oil and wood protector. Again, you can buy this from platinum. I'Ve been loving this. This is nearly broken. This is the l'oreal LV dream that sprays killer, serum, which i'm sure you can just get from like boo, sir yeah kinda anywhere. I really really like this and then the last one that i like to go in with this is the revlon one i've seen it. I have a few different kind of smells of these. I don't like to spray this all over my ears. I find once it touches my roots and I blow-dry my hair. I look like my name is just Gracie, so I like to either spray this into my hands and really only focus on the ends ten-in-one. I can get it all in one for like ten different things in my product so today, because I'm not focusing on getting like really and straight here - I'm actually gon na curl, my hair, I'm gon na go in with their Revlon, so I'm gon na take that And spray it for points what the five folks they smell so good just into my hands, I'm really just gon na focus that towards the end of my hair, if you hear squeak and that's my chair, all I'm gon na do now is go in those around My moon there's no specific way: I'm gon na do it, I'm itching, you could have blacks, try it on over and make sure it's 100 %. Why? Because we are curling, as I'm not focused on getting like thick straight hair, and so let's go in okay. So I'm back now with fully dried hair. So, like I did a few minutes, so I'm going to show you the some of the little bits and bobs for all years to achieve this kind of look again, I need links down below so starting, what's most important, the hot tool that I'm going to be Using is the insider, so I use this in the last video and that idea of this. This is the main tool that you use to get like all my curls, and I like it because the barrel can rotate different ways. So if you can hear how long so, that's it going one way and if I wanted to flip back and go the opposite way, I just double chocolate on it and it goes the opposite way. So the main reason why like why I find that handy is and kind of get the front of my hair or the pieces at the front of my face. If I want them to rotate away from my face, I can just switch the rotation of the room. Never gone and away from my face yeah, it's quite simple: to use once you kind of get the hang of it along with that or just use again, a sectioning clip to kind of section of pokémon. Your other has lipstick all over and then I use these tips from Amazon. So these are the clips that I use to pin each of the curls, and I got these on Amazon. I leave them below there's 24 pieces in this, and I'm their cheapest ships think they were like a flavor if even the only thing that I'll say about them is sometimes they kind of mark your hair, because they're just steel, there's no kind of like protection on Them, and so they can't mark your hair for a few seconds for now to use or after you take them out boy. I don't know this is too much and then just some hairspray, so the one that I'm using today, it's just the Ln at one. I like this because it doesn't leave my hair, crispy or crunchy and wash up once I wash out with my curls they're, not kind of all stuck together, they're nice, I'm lazy. So I probably just going to get straight into the, and so I like to work from the bottom to the top. So I'm, let's start by sectioning off my hair, with my little kit and just kind of around my ears, so kind of section, I'm just gon na shove that on the top of my head and I'll just have the bottom half of my hair kind of sectioned Out so again I'll, it's actually not in two halves: the right side. Okay, max moves not coming right down again, so you can see this half and I'm gon na talk you through kind of maybe one side and then I'll ways through and I'll keep recording, but I'll just beat off just for convenience. So I'm gon na start to the back, because I find, if I start at the front still my curls at the front of country see at the back. So I'm gon na start at the back and take a section above that be my natural hair is quite short like back to my natural hair there. So if that falls down, I don't really mind about it too much and because it's tomorrow that's covered. So I'm gon na take a chunk about yay big, I'm gon na take my insider and I, like all my curls on this side of my face or on both sides to turn away from my face. So I'm gon na click the Installer. So it goes away from my face: I'm gon na wrap the hair around the hot barrel, I'm closed it for 26 and then eyes against the culture to the point exactly see that kind of a fish or this kind of it's a little anything in I like To catch it in my hand, so I'll try to move right down this way, I'm just glad it karna followed into my hands, so a good father just give it a little shake just a slightly let it cool, and that is the curl that you're going to Get so I like t-rex bring it now and then I do a big action you're at the end, so lunch at the hairspray now this kind of helps the flyaways as well. So this is the part where I like twist the hair. Oh, I don't know if I can explain this, can I okay, you can see. So I take my two fingers on my right hand or left the office and hunt and I'm gon na like run it down. You'Ll not work to kind of stop doing this because you'll either see it up there. That'S falling down or you're gon na feel it, and then i use my other hand with one finger see there's of one finger. I just wrap it. That'S tight, as I can get it. If you have quite a bit curl, they can go in and start falling from each side, so I'm actually want to take a little bit of that stuff bit there. It can be a part of the next one and then, depending on how thick the Curless I'm gon na either use one clip or two just in my head. I don't often explain that very well enough, so I'm gon na do it again a fig tree in here. This one will be quite small, make sure my insider is going the way that I wanted to I'm gon na lap. Oh, it doesn't have to be from the roof and make sure it's gone early about 20 seconds, and then I let it go into my hand. Let it kinda just chill and cool down there for a sec left this and then I'm gon na spray. Take two fingers down towards the bottom and if you do have quite a short term here, it's light. You can also a twist if you know what I mean to kind of twist their into it. So so much it doesn't fall down. Just use one finger of the opposite. I want to help. Let'S turn it up to my head. Take my clip there. You can see they're, not perfect, very big jaggedy, but I find like pin and then will helps 120 % rather than just curl it. In my hair, because my hair is also so heavy - and I saw much of it if I just kurta an edit like drop and the Cross will follow yeah, I think you've gone until I do and until I move on to the top section and then I'm Work, hi, okay: this is editing Ellie and I just wanted to pop on here. You can see here that I'm talking during this, but I was just talking shite, so I just thought I'd speed it all up and save us all the torture, but I'm just doing the exact same thing with a second row, and so I have mine in like Three rows, so this is me just doing the exact same thing as the exact same thing that I did with the bottom row on a second one and then that little bone on top of my head. It shows all my natural hair and I come to that at the end. I also really quickly want to say you do not need to go out and buy these specific products to achieve this, look like any curler will do its legit just pin in the curls. So they cool and last longer so then, the very last step is obviously all of these kind of short, just natural hair. On top. So the first thing that I'd like to do is figure out where I want my parting, whether it's in the middle or to the side. So again, I'm just separating it into two sides. This one won't be as big. I'M gon na look like stretch over there on the top of my head, so this kind of natural layer - it's not there. It'S too short - and here I like to curl and from my head. So this gives the illusion of volume so because I have so much extensions in my hair and my hair is kind of my natural area is very straight. I don't. I don't get a lot of volume in my hair, so this one I don't get like two curls out of so and when I take this little piece of hair and instead of curling away from my face, I'm gon na flip the insider around so the hardest Part normally this and flat part, like not hot part, is comes to my face, but I'm gon na flip it around so that the hardest part is towards my scalp and I'm gon na make sure it's rotating in the way. That'S going on like around the hair into this thought. This is natural hair. Also, I don't feel like it needs then as well, so I'm gon na give that up for 15 guys catch it again into my hand and let it slightly kind of cool and then to pin these instead of rolling them from the bottom. Up that way, I'm gon na roll it away from my hair and kind of under itself just a little spray. So you can see there the way that I have. It is like rolled off my head so for this section area, because this is like my vines or fringe, and I like to put a roller and it really just to give the lift. So I'm gon na do the exact same thing and roll it. It works, but that gives me so much time selection and then I like to use these huge, green rollers. I'Ve absolutely no idea where I got them from. I think Giggy, like you, can get some impending. She can get rollers on Amazon. You can get them anywhere and these are just for owners, so just feed it into the bottom and then just like rolled it up like that. So I'm gon na give that a little spray or take up our gift up a little spray and then I'm gon na do and that is my whole head all curled and pinned up. So the last thing I'm gon na do. I know we're here sprayed each curl, but just in case in case I'm gon na go in and just click I actually can't breathe in here. So I'm gon na show you the time, I'm not sleeping in these. Sometimes I do and I don't find them too uncomfortable - I kind of just bear it and but I'm sure you can get like softer kicks or else unused like bobby pins. Instead, if I want to sleep in it just to make it a little bit more comfortable and my house slept in it before works very very well, it works a charm, but I'm not gon na sleep in it tonight. So the current time is 6:00. What does it 6:17 these and pinned up for maybe like an hour? I never run off and then I'm gon na come back and show you what it looks like once you take them all. I see you in a while after my dinner and when I come back, take these on it. So I'm back and it's been roughly over two hours so the time now nearly happy so yeah, it's mostly about two hours that I've left them and chill and whatever you can see some Lucan. My shorts are full now, so I'm not go ahead now and take each of the clips out. There'S now like order or anything, I'm just gon na check to the bottom and work my way up and then we can push them out and I'll show you. The final result, so I'm zooming the camera a little bit, so you can see what we're kind of left with curly sue, and so what I'm gon na do is take a brush now and just brush through them after you brush through, and sometimes I like to Kind of go in and separate them because they panel just kind of like wine together and drawn into one, and so I take a brush and you can see the way like the roller gives this curl. I love this. That'S my favorite part, so I kind of like coming through the room and flicks. Oh that's more or less how I get my and big curly Kona at home Pinker for an updated version of it. It'S more or less the same as the last video I did but and I could stir the same technique and more or less the same products for them. That'S how I do it anyway, like I said at the beginning of this, I'm no hair dresser. I'M no expert: this is just what personally works for me, so I just thought: I'd share so yeah, that's just how I do mine. So if you enjoyed this video - and you like how my hair turned oh and make sure to leave me a comment to give this video a like and if you're not already subscribed to my channel - and I will see you in my next one -
