New Super Easy Way To Make Space Buns - No Bobby Pins! Hair Hacks

Today we are sharing a fun and easy new tutorial for making #spacebuns We love that this method requires no bobby pins!

This hairstyle will work for medium length, long hair, and even fairly short hair. If your hair is on the shorter side, we would recommend taking more sections, and only looping them one time each through the elastic.

This hairstyle is great for all ages and could be used for many occasions! We love that these double buns are popular and stylish for teens right now. So fun! And if you aren't super excited about the pigtail look, you could still use this method to create one bun in a half up style for a toned down variation.

You may have noticed we used a "topsy tail" to create this style. This isn't absolutely necessary, but makes it much easier to pull the loops through the elastic. These tools can be found online: https://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B004...

With Halloween right around the corner, we were thinking these buns could even be used for several different Halloween costumes. (Bears, mice, Minnie Mouse and Mickey, dogs, (basically any animals with ears!) You could also use them for rocker chick costumes, barbie, monster high, cheerleaders, fairies, etc, etc. #halloweenhair

As mentioned in our tutorial, you can choose to make more of a loose, messy bun type of look, or keep the buns neater for a tight, sleek, coiled bun. It is up to you!

Hey guys today we're going to be showing a fun new way to do the space bonds that have been so popular recently, so I'm going to do two of them just one on each side of her head. So as I putting this you last again, I'm making sure that I don't get it super tight. I want to leave a little bit of room in there for it to stretch now, I'm going to take this section and I'm just going to slip it under with my Topsy tail. I don't want this to be flat up here in front, so I'm just going to take it and pull it out a little bit just so that it has some volume. So for the next step, I'm going to take this small ponytail and I'm going to split it in half and then I'm going to take one section at a time and just twist it up now that I have that twisted down a little ways. I'M going to take this and I'm going to fold it back through this little hole here that I created with the first Topsy tail, and what I'm going to do is stick my Topsy tail back through that hole again, but this time I'm going to bring it Through the elastic behind there as well, so if you can see that, I just have it through one strand of that elastic and then I'm going to go ahead and put this twisted section through the top of this and I'm just going to pull it through. So after you get that pulled through you'll just want to decide how big you want these loops to be, and then just pull it back out to the desired height. The length of hair that you're working with is going to determine how many loops you can make on each side, so you're just going to want to keep doing the same thing. I'M sticking this back through that elastic again and I'm going to twist this hair up. You don't need to get these twists super perfect, it's more of a fun messy style. You just want to pull that out to the size of the bun. You want. I think I'm just going to do two loops on each side, even though I have quite a bit of hair left, so I'm just going to do the same thing on this other side, I'm making sure to stick this through the elastic. His first site is pretty much done since I poked these through the elastic. It should stay pretty well. But if you feel like your hair is on the thinner side and it's going to come out, you can always add some bobby pins, underneath just to keep everything in place. So, depending on how you want this to look, you can kind of go and pull these pieces apart or you can just keep them together. If you like more of the coiled, look, it's really up to you. I, like mine, kind of more messy, so we're just going to do that exact same thing on this other side and then we'll be done. You
