Hey guys, it's adhara welcome back to my channel if you're not already subscribed, don't forget to hit that subscribe button and click on that notification. About that way, you see when I uphold videos, YouTube has changed its policies or whatever I haven't really read into, and I probably since I'm a youtuber, I'm lazy, it helps somehow. Okay, guys, I am low-key, getting more and more into synthetic wigs, I said think they were cheap looking and you could just tell when you saw a synthetic wig back then, but I feel like today, since that take wake have definitely evolved. They'Ve gone from like Charmander to what is it chair is that thumbs up if you're a Pokemon fan, I even played Pokemon goal yeah. I was one of those people. Synthetic wigs today have definitely evolved. As you can see, I mean that this hey doesn't even look since that. Take you guys. I was so surprised when I saw it looks amazing there isn't that shine, so I'm kind of getting into synthetic wigs, not only because they're, looking more and more like natural hair and just looking better, also they're affordable. So if you want to play up for your look and you're too scared to invest in natural hair, wigs that might not suit you for your face shape or whatever go for that styling, a synthetic wig, try it out play around with the hair, see what works For you and then maybe you could go in and bust in the same style, but in like natural hair for this video I gathered. What I consider are the most important things you need to know if you own a synthetic wig, and if you want to make your synthetic wigs last longer and just get more wear out of them basic, so yeah I'll be demonstrating with this way that was sent To me by a Binney line and this wig is called Empress, lace wig in the style, Tuscany and it's in the color 99 G. You can't really see in the video, but it's kind of purplish. I wasn't expecting it or I guess I forgot. I got like a purplish wig, but I liked it. My first tip to you guys when it comes to synthetic hair is to use products made for synthetic hair. I personally never got products made for synthetic hair. I didn't even know they exist, don't highly advise you guys to use those because they're adapted to the kind of material your wig is made of you know. So I got this shampoo and leave-in conditioning spray made for synthetic wigs on the evanwan website and it is actually amazing these products smell awesome. I'Ve never had hair that smells good. I feel I really don't feel like I'm when said that. Take care you guys, washing before washing your hair, it's really important to detangle your wigs, whether its natural or synthetic, simply because once it gets wet it just knots up faster and just make the whole washing process easier. You end up with less tangles. So less friction less. Like snaps nagging nagging snagging snag: snagging, you lose less hair during the process. So when I'm washing a synthetic wig, you want to use cold water. One thing to keep in mind with synthetic wigs is that heat is the enemy for all kinds of hair. Actually, heat is damaging, but mostly for synthetic wigs. He kit is really damaging to the fibers of synthetic hair, even the ones that are that can resist heat with time. It'Ll definitely damage the fiber. When washing a synthetic wig, you have to manipulate it as little as possible, so you're, not gon na scrub. The way feel like a basin or a bucket, or your sink like I did with cold water, pour in shampoo. This specific shampoo tells you how many caps to use, depending on the length of the hair, so because this hair was super long. I used four caps, as you can see, and what you're gon na do with this is that take wig is just let it soak in the shampoo so yeah this. Will you let it soak for a few minutes. You read the bottle, see how long you're supposed to leave it in the bottle told me 10 to 15 minutes. So once again, it's always important to read labels. This is something I never did, but if you read labels and full of instructions properly, the you use of products properly, you take care of a way properly. Your things will last longer, you know if you do things properly. This is a habit. I'M trying to develop to read the labels more so if we're linked to my research actually look this up before filming this video, because even I didn't know this - the frequency to wash your hair. So, apparently, when it comes to synthetic wigs, you wash it every six to eight wears so to rinse your synthetic wigs. You can do it two ways you can either run it under water, but if you're dealing with longer hair like me, hold the hair line like I do and just dip it in and out the base, and basically until the wig is you're definitely going to have To air dry, a synthetic wig, the best thing to put it on is one of those foldable weak stands. If you don't have one, you can take something like this. Maybe thicker and place it on top of it, and let it dry on that. It'S actually not a good idea to let your any of your wigs dry on a wig head, because it might actually stretch out the top. It'S not gon na fit as nicely and the weight that doesn't fit. Snug is really annoying. You have to either glue it down and you just have more work to do for it to like stay on you, but I don't have a wig stand and I do use. I did use a wig head. So don't copy me. I do this all the time. Don'T copy me, that's a bad thing too, but if you're going to use a wig head, anyways use a Styrofoam head and not one of these cloth heads because yeah since its cloth, it's just gon na be wet and your wig soon you wet, and it doesn't Make sense so a Styrofoam head is the best type of head to dry, your wig on you guys. I want to ask you something comment below if it bothers you to stick these pins in your big head like that is so cringy to me. I just feel like I'm sticking it into an actual person's head, so I really use these as little as possible. Is it's so satisfying to put it through my like it's her head do use a synthetic wig, leave-in conditioner. This is really important because you don't want to put products once again, I'm repeating myself. You don't have put products made for natural hair on your synthetic wigs. Definitely sleep with a scarf. When you have synthetic wigs, I have ever sleep with scars when I wear my natural hair wigs because they give me headaches because they're too tight and if I loosen them a bit, they just fall off during the night. So I don't sleep it scars. But if you aren't gon na sleep with the synthetic wig, it's important to sleep with the scarf, because, unlike human hair, wigs, you can do treatments to help make your wig look better, just like you can with your natural hair. So if your natural hair is dry, you can do treatments against dryness and stuff like that, whereas a synthetic wig, you can't really revert back and you know save the wig. I mean I have seen some videos on YouTube on how you can like save a synthetic wig, but then you would have to buy special products for that and let's just keep things simple sleep with the scarf with a synthetic leg. So I've, given you tips on also like prolong the life of your wig, but, like one tip, would be not to wear the wig. I guess if you can afford natural hair, I would say where your natural wigs more often because they just last longer, if you take care of a natural wig, you can have it for years. You know, whereas a synthetic wig, I don't think you can wear it. Every day and it'll last you more than few months, my synthetic waves in general are very unique looks, and so I put them on four very unique occasions. You said I mean so and then I wear my normal looking natural hair, wigs on a more regular basis. So once styling water and your fingers are your best friends, because synthetic wigs are so affordable. I always encourage you guys in every video that has authentically to just explore. You know just experiment. This is the time to experiment: make mistakes on the way. That'S cheap and general when you put a synthetic wig on it, doesn't look good, it doesn't look natural at all and you need to work on it. Basically, what I do with synthetic wigs is, I don't really think too much. I just like experiments. I just cut it and style it and do things until it looks okay, whereas I have more of a routine when it comes to natural hair, because you do not want to mess up a natural hair way. Cuz! That'S money, that's a lot of money, so I just put makeup on their hair line up this way and then I sprayed water on it and use my fingers to arrange it and then the way I want it to fall. After that, I took a pair of scissors. I'Ve just chopped away, because this week was way too long. I mean look at it. Look how long this wig is before, and so I chopped it off and ended up with this okay guys. Well, that's it! For this video tell me what you think about this wig I'll, have all the information in the description box I'll have links in the description box as well and the more I look at myself in this week, the more I like it so yeah. Let me know also you guys out of curiosity, I want to know if you wear more synthetic wigs than natural, wigs or vice-versa, so just comment down below. Let me know yeah I'll see in my next video thanks for watching bye,

1cakesz: Thank you soo much for this! I bought my first curly synthetic wig today and I’m expecting it in a month. I want to do everything right. I learned so much from this. Thank you for sharing. I also bought the shampoo and conditioning spray.

R Johnson: I love this wig on you! Smart move to cut and style it to your liking. One of the BETTER looking synthetic wigs I’ve ever seen. I love watching and listening to you! You have a natural gift of gab!

Amber Richardson: If you don’t want to wear a scarf bonnets work as well I wear a big bonnet for long hair and a medium bonnet for my shorter units and the band on the bonnet if it’s thick enough actually helps keep your lace laid longer

Bored Weegie: I've never in 15 yrs used cold water to wash any of my synthetic wigs but now I have a curly one I may do,,never air dried as they're all hear resistant but I'll be changing that for this curly one.

am456784: The wig looks amazing on you!

Gabbi Solar Powered: I can’t believe how nice that looks!!

Vee Marie: Am I the only one who LOVES the way she says Syn-Thet-Ticccc Wigs!

Esther Ayodele: when do you get to dangling a wig after the wash process

Jackie Bang: Great, detailed video. New subscriber Honey.

Amber Marie: Can you use the shampoo on straight hair?

TayraTv: This hair looks so nice and you clearly ❤

Tracy n: great video thanks for the advice

Tee Ramirez: Fun fact: you should never brush or comb a synthetic wig, just finger comb them.

JustJudith x: Her romper looks soooo. Cute

Night Owl: this was exceptional useful information thank you so much

Tranquility: Wearing a unit to bed is not a good thing. It's advisable to hang them up at night. Also, a wig grip helps secure a scarf on your head at night. I have had units last for at least a year or longer. But I take very good care of them and I don't throw them across the room and hope for the best lol.

Elrosaddiction: I love how Sky is looking at you in awe at the start of the video... like: das my mama!

Kristina Farnsworth: how do you lay the back

SAMUEL Blackman: Look. Gorgeous ✨

Chelsea Wiafe: How often do you do this routine ?

Queen Dy Gravy: I was going to try ebonyline do you like them?

Stxpid_idixot: What if you don’t have the products for a wig? And if you only have a wig?

La GY's House: Thank Yooouu . Is it a french accent?

FUCK YOU: love this ! who won the givaway

Paris Roam: Chair-i-zad

Blonde Ive: You remind me of widya soraya

Michelle: Are you ibibio?
