Five in this video I'll be demonstrating how to dye your wig black without getting dye onto your closure. Just our things off, I'm going to add some gorillas not gel to the closure to act as a protective barrier. If any dye we're to get through DJ bad running, brush, DJ bad needs a bath running breath. Now it's not necessary to do it a second time, but I wanted to go in and get those areas I couldn't reach with my fingers and it makes me feel more secure having that extra layer of protection, so after applying at this time, I'm going to let It dry again till it's tacky and apply the wig to my wig head to driving running brush. Here you can see the gorillas not gel seeping through the holes of the closure. This is why I wanted it to be tacky before putting on a closure and not fully dry, so I can create that protective barrier by coming through the actual closure. Okay, so once I get designed the closure part of the hair, I apply the dye and inch away from the closure and then work my way to loop with the comb. Once I get like an eighth of an inch to the closure, I start applying it with like a mascara line. Don'T judge me, but it helps me get close to the closure without getting anything on the closure meet a bath running brush DJ bad day, bad runny, brush DJ bad after I finish dyeing my wig, a lettuce, another plastic bag for at least 30 minutes, and then I washed and rinsed it and let it fit out the dryer and voila there. We have it black hair without any mask on the closure.

Tiffany555: This is exactly what I needed, thank you. I'm about to try this out right now! ☺

Mickey Tolliver: Worked like a charm! Thank you so much, you are truly a life saver!

The Olivia Shay: this video was so easily to follow! the mascara wand is exactly what i was going to use so don't worry girl it's lit!

Giovana Samara: That's meticulous work! I'm going to high-lift a natural black hair wig. My only fear is that, me being very inexperient with dyeing, I would take too long on those details, and the hair would have different colors (because of very different processing times)... I don't wanna mess up my silk top, though, so I might use your mascara brush technique and just hope for the best.

Charmayne Smith: U did that! U said don't judge u for using a mascara brush to get close to the closure....I think that technique was genius. I'm gonna try this. Thanks for the vid.

TheCryptoQueen: Great tips! Thank you for sharing. One question... once you let the glue get tacky and put it on your mannequin head, do you wait until all the glue is fully dry before starting the dying process or is it OK to start while the glue is still tacky underneath?

sheabuttahtv: Ha! I probably should have watched your video before I stained my lace! But this is great for my next wig. The mascara brush is genius, thanks for the tips!

Shawanda Howard: I love this!!!I have a full lace wig I'm going to try this on.Now I am just confused on should i bleach knots first or wait until i finish this process.Any advice will be appreciated.

Ada: What if we'd like to take the glue off the lace afterwards?

Keria Stewart: Thanks! This was so helpful. Does this process stain the mannequin head?

Nyakim Khat: Trying this today wish me luck!

Jessica B.: I’m glad I saw this!!! I’ve been seein Got 2 B glue and I’m like I got Gorrila Snot can I just use that?!?!

Afua Addo: Is it better to dye the hair before or after installing the wig

victoria COJIM BLESSED: Some said conditioner and didn't dry it on camera so there I was wet conditioner.. And my wig came out purple half black so your video was more explanation then the one I saw next time #long live my mystake

Alexis Jacobs: Did Yu Mix The Bleach With The Die ? Or Yu Just Dyed It Without Bleaching?

Katiri: Seems like part of the lace got clear after the dyijg process?

Vanessa CM: Can I also use eco styler gel as a protective barrier?

Jay Lavilles: is the wig made up of human hair or is it synthetic?

Talisa Brewer: what do u do if it turns green how do I change it back to it black

M: Can’t I soak it in henna or whatever

Julia Lane: Did the glue come off with shampooing.
