Hi guys welcome back to my channel if you're new, my name is Ashley, and today I figured, I would show you guys some of my go-to hairstyles. I would consider my hair to be medium length. I think, but I did a lot of these hairstyles when I had short hair. My hair used to be like to here, so I think they can work for pretty much any hair length or be tweaked feature Ashley here I didn't say this earlier. I don't know why, but um don't forget to follow me on Instagram Tick Tock. I will have all that linked below if you're interested and all the hair products that I usually use like shampoo, conditioner, styling products, styling tools - all that is linked on my like to know it also linked below I've, been trying to use a lot less heat. On my hair this summer, which I know kind of, is contradictory, considering my hair is curled right now, but I just curled it for this video. I swear because my hair is so damaged from all the bleaching that I've been doing to it. Also um future Ashley. Here, if you're wondering how I curl my hair, I already have a tutorial posted on my channel and I will link it in the card so for this first hairstyle it is super easy also. I sorry if I'm looking in the viewfinder, I don't have a mirror. So I'm using the viewfinder as my mirror, but all I'm doing is just Gathering my hair half of it like so and then you're gon na take your finger and put it on the top and loop this over and then twist like that. Then you're just going to take a claw clip. I got mine off of Amazon. I have them linked to my storefront, add in a claw clip and then I loosen up the front and pull down my curtain bangs, and that is all for that hairstyle. This next hairstyle I do at least like twice a week, so all you're gon na do is split your hair down the middle and just do two normal three strand braids. This is also super cute with a fishtail braid, but nine times out of ten. I did not have the patience to sit there and no fishtail braid, maybe one of these days, but that day is not today. So I do three strand braids and I love this hairstyle, because it's super easy and it's no heat, so it doesn't cause damage. Braiding is actually a protective style, so you're actually protecting your hair. Whenever you do this, whenever I do this, and it literally takes five minutes so once I have both braids in, I just go through and really pull it apart. I, like my braids, to be really messy and I pull some pieces down from the front for me, the Messier, the better and that's all for this hairstyle also in the winter. I love throwing on a beanie. When I do this hairstyle. I just think it is so cute like come on, and this is also perfect for when you have greasy hair, because you cannot tell that you have not washed your hair in a week. That'S not true right now, but definitely has been true in the past, not entirely sure why? But I cannot find two hair ties in my house to save my life, so I'm using scrunchies don't mind that usually I just use like black hair ties, but so for this next hairstyle same thing. Keep your hair split down the middle and all I'm doing is taking the hair tie like this and doing a messy bun like that. I don't know how to explain it so I'll. Do it again, so you can watch, but then I just loosen it up. Pull down these front pieces play around with it, and it kind of looks weird now that I'm looking at it, it's usually Messier, but this is how I do all my messy buns by the way, I'm just taking all of my hair again. I know that is not very good for explaining, but I don't know how to explain so. I figured just watch. I love doing two little low buns. Obviously it looks better with hair ties and that different colored, scrunchies and again same thing. I don't know why. I just love adding a beanie to anything. I think. That'S um what happens when you grow up watching Bethany Moda, but I mean come on now for this next hairstyle. You need to know how to French or Dutch braid. So if you don't know how to do that, I suggest going watching another video and learning how and then coming back. But I love doing this when I need to get my hair out of my face, but I still want to wear my hair down like if I go to the beach or whatever. So all I'm doing is starting a Dutch braid and I'm making sure to angle it like, as close to my part as I can kind of going back towards the crown of my head, and I stopped picking up hair on the bottom. When I get to my temples now when I get to this point, I just go through and pancake my braid to make it a little bit Messier and I just Loosely braid it all the way down. I just put in a hair tie and now I'm going back through again and pulling it apart, even more and making it messy and sometimes I'll, pull out from the root two all right. One side done one side to go. Okay, I just did the other side off camera. I love doing this hairstyle when I go to the beach or the lake or something because I like my hair to be down I'm one of those girls that only feels pretty with my hair down. But this keeps my hair out of my face and it keeps my parts like where it should be. So, if I'm like doing Hand Pants and flips and stuff, my hair will still look great. When I got out of the water guys. I found a hair tie. So this next hairstyle is a claw clip hack for us girlies that have a lot of thick hair because for me, claw Clips just like do not stay in. So all I'm doing is gathering my hair in a very low ponytail and I'm making sure that it's kind of loose. Now I am just splitting my hair down the middle, like this above my hair tie and flipping my hair up. There'S a tool for this called a Topsy Tail, but I don't have one so now that you're left with something like this. I'M just gon na take your claw clip and stick it right over and there you have it. Your hair will now stay in a claw. Clip and it's secure like y'all, seeing this - I'm sorry that probably looked really dumb, but I'm just showing you guys that, like this stays - and it looks so cute probably wants to end the video right here, because I'm going to Cleveland today, I'm going to MGK's coffee Shop and I have a doctor's appointment and stuff - and part of me just - wants to leave my hair like this, but I still have more hairstyles to show you so moving on. I actually have not done this hairstyle, since my hair was really short, but I just remembered it so I figured I'd just show you guys. All I'm doing is sectioning my hair from my temples to the crown of my head and I'm making sure to keep my part as I smooth my hair back and I'm just doing a messy bun. So I'm taking my hair tie, putting it over all my hair. Doing one Loop twisting another loop and then I put my hand on the other side twist it and then make a little button. My rings kind of got in the way of that, and I don't even know if you could see any of that. To be honest with you, but that is how I do my messy buns and then I just pull down pieces from the front per usual. I think, next time I get my hair cut, I'm going to get my curtain bang shorter and get like actual things. I think that'd be so cute, but here is what that looks like personally, I have no idea what this looks like my viewfinder is like this big, so I can't see if this looks good or not, but just know that, like if there's any stray pieces, you Just pin them down you just kind of play with it, because no messy buns can be the same every single time, full disclosure, this next hairstyle I've never actually done before, but I've been dying to try it. So I figured I'd just do it on camera. With you guys, so, first, I'm just sectioning what face framing I want down and I am going to be trying bubble braids today, I'm starting off with a really small section, like a little hair tie, putting that at the top. Now I'm taking another section and for good measure, I will do one more now, I'm just going to make these double braids actual bubble Braids by just pulling some of the pieces out, giving it that bubble effect. Now I'm just going to go down the remainder of this ponytail, adding hair ties and pulling the little bubbles apart to make it a bubble. Braid, as I'm doing this, a hack that I'm finding is, after you put the hair tie in and after you loosen the braid up a little bit, you tighten it. It makes it even more like a little bubble. I'M really hoping this doesn't just like. Stick straight out again, I hate it when people look in the viewfinder, but I seriously have to sorry one side done. I'M gon na be honest. I don't really know if I like it or not, so I'm gon na do the other side off camera and then see what I think once it's all done. Okay, this is what this hairstyle looks like completely done. What do we think I saw this on Tick. Tock, so I don't know if I'm fully sold yet all right, it kind of looks like a dinosaur like the back of a dinosaur to me. I can't decide if I like it. I just have to note that those were terrible to get out I'll. Probably never do that hairstyle again just for taking them out wait. That was English. I will probably never do that hairstyle again, just because of how much of a hassle to Shake It Out There. We go second time's a charm, so the last hairstyle that I'm doing, which I'm going to be wearing out today, is just again basic, simple easy one of my go-to hairstyles. I am just sectioning my hair from my temples to the crown of my head and I like to keep the top and bottom sections separate just because it makes it easier, so I'm just taking this clip and sectioning off the bottom. So now I am just going to do a three strand braid on this top layer. Now I'm just pulling down my curtain bangs once again, and that is all for this hairstyle. That is all for today's video, if you guys have any other video ideas, comment them below and don't forget to follow me on Instagram and Tick Tock anyway. That'S all for today's video! I love you guys.
