Hello all my fellow medium-length hair defends today, I'm gon na show you how to get some big messy waves using this 3/4 inch curling wand. You can also just use a curling iron for this. If you want I'm gon na get started at the back of my hair first and all I do is pull the curling wand facing down and then wrap the hair around and I'm not gon na waste. My time sectioning off my hair. First, I really like the Messier look for this, so I'm just kind of going for it, there's no rhyme or reason to how I do this. I basically just start at the back and then work my way up to the front. I also like to change the directions of the way I wrap my hair just to make it a bit more random, so you'll notice that I'll curl, the hair away from my head face sometimes and then, as shown here - I'm curling it towards my face. So it just gives it a nice random look, so it's not so perfect, and so your curls don't stick together. So now I finished one side: I'm going to move on to the other side again, starting from the back. I'M just gon na again grab some chunks and make sure when you do the back to feel around to make sure you're not missing any stray pieces. You can also use a second mirror if you have one just to make sure that you've filled in all of the spaces with curls and again I am rotating the direction of the hair. So I'm going to words my face this time and then the next time around. I will go away from my face now. You want to make sure when you do your front pieces, that you do curl it away from your face, just because you don't want that piece of hair like sitting in your eyeball the entire day. So you want to make sure that it goes away from your face now that I'm done with the top layers of my hair, I'm just gon na grab a few of the straighter chunks from the very bottom layers. These layers are a bit harder to curl, because they're shorter, so just be careful not to burn yourself and make sure that you get them all now, I'm just taking a pomade, you can use a wax or pomade, and this is just going to give it a Bit more texture and I'm just rubbing it on my hands and then rubbing it through my hair lightly. I'M really concentrating it on that ends. I kind of just go around my whole head like this. Making these funny little hand, movements and getting it also up into the root, and then you can mess it up play with it, break up your curls a little bit and just keep going around and fixing it. However, you like, then, I'm gon na, take my trusty little teasing comb and you can use any fine-tooth comb for this and you're just gon na back home at the roots a little bit. I just like to do this to give it a bit more volume, because the top part is usually a bit flatter, so I just kind of tease it and puff it up a little bit and I grab some hairspray and I give it a light. Dusting of spray, and then I actually spray it upwards into the bottom of my hair, and I scratch it again. It just gives it a bit more volume towards the bottom and it also helps hold your curls, so try and not to breathe. While you do this because yeah it doesn't taste too good and that's it you're finished. I hope you guys enjoyed this tutorial. I will see you next time. Look at his little face.
