In today's, step-by-step, quick and easy hair tutorial for beginners, I'm going to show you how to headband braid your own hair to create 3 casual, braided hairstyles for short, long, or medium hair.
I love headband braids because anyone can create it, whether your hair is curly, wavy, straight, or is layered. Moreover, these look beautiful on all facial shapes - square, oval, diamond, or on a round face.
Braided Headband half-up updo styles became hugely popular when Jennifer Aniston started wearing it. Today, headband braids can be seen on teenagers and busy moms because it's an edgy and fun hairstyle, which takes about 5 minutes to do in the morning.
In this video, I'm going to show you how to do a faux waterfall braid headband, a French braid headband, and a faux fishtail braid headband on your own hair. I actually did 4 hairstyles, but decided to take 1 out because the video was getting too long. If this video ends up being popular, I'll do another headband braid tutorial for you guys.

Hi guys, i'm tina from mega wearables and today we're going to create four headband braids, two of which will be extremely easy. And since it's christmas, estelle secret, the hair extension brand that i've been wearing a lot lately has offered to do a giveaway. You should always clip the back of your head in place. Then, if you want to use hair extensions, use the single clip wash as i'm doing here with my style secrets so for the first headband style, we're gon na do the very basic french braid headband. If you don't know how to french braid a french braid is basically a normal braid done after adding in hair to the side strand, so we're going to take some hair from the bottom and add it to the bottom strand and take both over the middle. Take some hair from the top and add it to the top strand and take both over the middle hair from the bottom goes into the bottom strand, and we're going to take both of these strands over the middle strand. We'Re going to add some hair from the top to the top strand and we're going to take both of these strands over the middle. So there are two ways of doing headband braids. You can either stop at your eyebrows or go all the way down towards your ear. I personally prefer to stop at my eyebrow, so that's what i'm going to do so at this point, i'm going to start pulling the braid back towards the back and then switch to a normal braid tie the ends of that braid with an elastic band then grab Some hair from the back grab another elastic band and then tie everything together. This next braid is the easiest, and also my favorite, we're going to take a thick section of hair at our part and make a normal braid, then start taking small sections from the front and loop it through the braid. So we're going to insert our fingers through the stitch to grab the hair to pull through and i'm going to clip it aside, because i don't want it getting in the way again we're going to stick our fingers through the next stitch to grab the hair. To put through and again we're going to clip it aside, we're going to do this all the way and then finish it as we did with the french much you care and that's the best, and this last one is really easy too. So what we're gon na do is make a ponytail and just it gift. That'S flip, make another ponytail and put that as well. Then we're gon na scrunch, the second ponytail up to move it closer to the first one: pull out the edges to make it more voluminous so that they look more like fishtail braids. Then we're gon na make another ponytail and flip that as well and also scrunch upwards, so we're just going to continue making ponytails and flipping them and scrunching it upwards and pulling out the edges to make them look more uniform and fishtail braid like the, and that Was it?
