Come on in don't be shy. Welcome back to the means by Mel care channel in this week's video, I'm gon na walk you through how I style my curls. With the most definition I can get for the most lasting style possible, put the hot tools down and use this styling technique. This technique is what I call twisting so here we are, I'm going to walk you through my technique that I call twisting you use this technique. When you need your curls to be popping, you need them to come through all week. You need them to glow shine. Sparkle, no frizz, high definition style. Okay. This is how we do first things. First, I need to lube up my hair. It'S drying fast, all right, yeah, I'm still getting the hang of this new spray bottle. I got it's magical instead of giving me carpal tunnel by going like this. It'S just very misty one get you mister, wet and ready. This is what you would put in your prep product. This is either if you have a styling prep product you're, leaving conditioner your milk, whatever you like to start off with, I use the same cream all throughout, so I'm just going to put a little bit now everywhere, so that throughout the process, because I would be Going in through sections there's something for my curls to start, this is the availabe curly. It'S called the curl enhancer. It'S just gon na help to give my curls moisture and some definition and hold only one. So I'm all lubed up. I have a thin layer all throughout my hair. That'S just gon na kind of set it over now, I'm going in through the sections. Well, certain back so now I'll go in thoroughly a little bit of extra cream. I don't want to be putting too much that will be laying my hair down. I just need to feel that there's slip in my hair. A lot of you have been asking me how much product do I need? How do I know when I'm putting enough product? It'S a tough thing to explain, because it's all in the feeling you should feel your hair like if your hair is very it's very naturally, a slippery hair, cuticle and you've got softer silkier hair you're, probably not going to need as much product, because it's not as Dry, you definitely don't want to be putting too much because if you put too much thinking you're just gon na be way down and it can be very stiff as well. If you won't get the bouncy buoyancy that you would want, let's get back to styling. Okay, we're gon na begin with the twist now I want everyone to watch closely. You don't have to be afraid and okay, I have three tight curls, so my sexercise is not big. I'M not just grabbing this big chunk, I'm grabbing where the curls are so there will be a hair family, and you just take that any twist it and you will see that the curl will suddenly be this ringlet. You may think that you have waves and you do this and you actually have curls. I know what you're thinking wow this is gon na take forever. Nobody got time then you're gon na have time you're gon na make time, because you care about your hair and you're on a healthy hair journey or you're, not gon na get a blowout this week, you're not gon na straighten it you're gon na embrace the curl And it's gon na happen, you're gon na love it. I just want my clients when I'm teaching them how to style their hair and how to embrace their curls for anyone that finds their lacks definition, and you want it to be curlier. You want to have more of a spring and have good hold. This is it. This is the method next section, and I repeat, I started doing this when I had really long hair. I saw a really long, hair uncoloured and it was the same hair I had, but was always very curly, but it was just like an S Curl all throughout the bottom, and I picked up a hair picked up a section and then I twisted it around a Finger, you know you're, just twirling your hair and suddenly created this defined curl, and I thought if you go somewhere with this hot seat. I want you just take a look at this curl if you notice first like twisted this curl away from my face. That'S typically what we want to do the hairs around her face. You want them to curl outward rather than coming in, but if you know anything about your own hair, I'm sure it's very unruly got a mind of its own and no matter what you do is gon na do what it wants to do. So I twisted this curl away from the face and it's a wonky one can us use. This didn't create the really curl about in Lake. That'S because I curled it in the opposite direction. Just by looking at it, I can tell that it's backwards, but now watch the same piece want to twist it and towards my face, and now it's a curl, see that moving forward. This is my last section. It'S the top section. It'S the most important section. Don'T skip out on it, give it the product and work it in I'm gon na part, my hair on the side, which is important. I need to know which way I'm styling it. So I know where to twist so again. First I distribute my product. I even after I've applied my product I like to put a tiny bit on my hands: keep it in between my knuckles, keep it in my fingers for what I'm twisting. So if there are pieces that I come across that need that I'll kind of just do a little deeper and I already have some extra on my hands to use, so I'm gon na start here. Can you guys see this? I can see where the curls are forming from the root and I'm grabbing near top smooth and twist you'll also see me twist upwards. When I grab the curl, I'm not fully twisting and pulling downwards. I tend to actually twist pulling upwards because I find that will give me more volume in my roots, by elevating the hair and twisting I created this loop up top. If I were pulling my hair down while I twisted, I would have that very flat to the root, but your girl likes her fall view and it's the same thing all throughout this wire. Such huge guns. Now that I have one side be fully done and this side is not. I want you to see the difference you can see here. Obviously it's very curly, but it's kind of more of a disheveled curl. Obviously, it's not follow-through so uniform, but when you see this, the curls really come together in a style that it looks put together. This is where it begins. Kids straight to pay off. You can't expect it to work magic after you've treated your hair like [, __, ], okay, if you're twisting sections look like this, let take you that's aggressive. This is what not to look for if your sections look like this you're wasting your time, you're wasting your efforts and you're wasting your hair day. That'S a lot of product! Okay, this you! Don'T you don't want this, that's what not to look for now. I'M working my products in following any frizz and I'm taking my curls to the next level. Everybody now roubles hope you're watching this video, while you're styling your hair, so you can really see and do at the same time. Thank you. It'S over. It is finished after the three half hours it takes you to do this dry, your hair, with your preferred drying technique, you can either air dry or diffuse, whatever works best for you. If you're, not confident in your diffusing skills, don't put this style to waste and mess it up. I have a video on how to diffuse so I'll link that in the description now, I shall both diffuse and I'll be back when I'm done just like that. I'Ve trained my curls to be as curly as they can be. Thank you guys so much for tuning. In please use this technique. Try it out if it helps watch my video as you're styling, your own hair, and I want you guys to get the hang of it, because I'm telling you it's a game-changer like and comment this video share it with any of your friends subscribe to my channel For any updates on upcoming videos, you know I post every single Tuesday, so every Tuesday I've got more coming for you and if you follow my Instagram means my mouth you'll see a bunch of photos with different looks that I do with my hair. So we'll see you guys next time when I was a young all up close and personal, get you mister, mister,

Rue H: “You’re gonna make time because you care about your hair” you’re right I’m sorry

erin vs bees: This is the best curly hair channel I’ve found!

Natalie Smith: This video saved my life!! I always assumed my hair could never be defined and frizz-free. I tried this and it changed my life forever. It did take a looooooong time, BUT SO WORTH IT. Thank you a million times! My new favorite channel.

Kimberly Ann Dy: Hi Mel, I am transitioning from being chemically straightened hair. I tried this technique instead of scrunching, it turned out straighter than usual. How often should you do this when you are just starting to train your curls to be more defined? Love your channel! ❤️

Alison G: I discovered this technique for my curls over 20 years ago. It also looks good when you do it in larger sections when wet, and when dry you run your fingers through to create an amazing curled wave that didn't require any heat.

The Dark Overlord: I have longish curly hair and I finger coiled for the first time last night (using tips Mel gave). It took me 2 and a half hours But my hair was full of beautiful ringlets and some spirals once I finished! I learned a few weeks ago that I loove ringlets in my hair, so I'm super happy my curls formed into those Next time, I will take a shower much earlier so I'm not up around 2 AM by the time I'm done

PoetrySkep: Graying 2c/3a old lady here and have white around my face that seems it has lost any will to live. I’m going to try this in those areas and . You’re an amazing inspiration. I find myself jumping up and trying your techniques as soon as I watch. Thank you!

Laura Huber: I'm so grateful for your insights and encouragement!! I've been curly for many years, but quite lazy about it. I've been watching video after video...after video of yours and so thankful for all of the information! I'm trying to prioritize the health and natural beauty of my hair, and I would still be quite lost without you! Thank you!! <3

Camie Grace: I tried this technique for the first time yesterday and my hair looked amazing but it took awhile and my arms got tired hopefully I’ll get faster!

Flor Montenegro: I finger coiled my bangs for a week straight. Today I decided not to finger coil and my curls turned out to look so defined!!!

M: Going through all of your vids in the last 3 days, can't wait till my next wash day to practice you make me more confident of trying to embrace my curls and wear them natural

Cassie the Lash Lady: Wash day is tomorrow and I CANNOT WAIT TO TRY THIS! I've spent my entire life running from my curls, but tomorrow, I'm spending my whole ass day in the bathroom until this mission is accomplished! <3

Melissa Monroe: Mel! Thanks so much for this video! I've been doing the CGM for a while but learning on what products to put in my hair was so important. Idk I was supposed to be putting in leave in conditioner! But now that I know the proper way to style my hair thanks to your videos I also now have fingered coiled/twist my hair for well defined curls and OMG! My curls have never looked better. I have 3b, thick, coarse, curls so it take me at least 45 mins to twist my whole head but the results so are so worth it! Also, I'm trying to grow out my hair to donate it. Thanks again for helping curly girls like me look the best we can with embracing our curls From one Mel to another

Ellen: Actually roaring when she's yelling about embracing the curls and not getting a blowout! I needed that ... gentle reminder.

Proudtobeshortie: Love your videos! You teach us techniques no one ever tells us!! I'm totally gonna try this when I have enough patience XD Thanks Mel!!

Michelle Barr: Love your video. My curls are so defined now. Thank you thank you. Straight to the point and now I understand where I was going wrong.

Jeniferbfly: IT WORKED ❤️❤️❤️ My hair has gone all wonky due to medication and other health issues ( plus I wasn’t using your techniques but I learned....all these years wasted) But I’m so happy with my results!

Kristi C.: Thank you for making all of your videos but the ones on styling like this & different ways to diffuse have been so helpful! I'm still learning & it's nice to have these to refer back to!

sarah: I tried this for the first time today and my curls came out so defined! Thank you for this! I’ve been doing the CG method for about 3 years now and still my curls would seem to come out frizzy no matter how much product or scrunching I worked with. Even still when it’s completely wet with product it would still be frizzy. But question: Will I have to do this EVERYTIME to come out with the results I got today? Or eventually after doing this technique for a while will my curls start becoming more defined on their own when I just scrunch it? It was really tiring, I have a lot of long, thick hair

GG 107: Oh my goodness! You have helped me more with this video than any other video since my curly journey began this past summer.(I have kids your age and I've been straightening since the 70s, with a real iron!) The top detailing and demo helped immensely! You are adorable and a genius! Thank you ❤️

Szabina Gróf: Hi Mell! I am so grateful for your channel! I just had a very crappy day feeling like sh*t not even in a mood for washing my hair...you not only motivated me to get up and take care of my curls but made my day :D I was laughing so hard at the end :D Now you got a new fan :) And by the way, you have fans from Europe, not just US and Canada, please don't forget about us ;)

A Herskowitz: You’re hilarious. I love that you show the reality of how long it takes to distribute product and style curly hair—I think I get too impatient because I’d rather refresh with water or leave-in and a bit more product on days 2-4 than spend the time on wash day to ensure curls last from days 1-4. Thanks for this!

Emily A: I'm going curly this quarantine!!! Thanks, Mell

Jacqueline Oscvirk: Love your videos Mel!!! And your humour too!! I’m learning so much!!!

Adriana Tocino Duran: Hey Mel!!! I have watched all ur videos and posts in IG and I gotta say THANK U. Yesterday I tried finger coiling and the result has been amazing! Congratulations for the way u communicate. U are so beautiful, so funny and so professional at the same time that I can only say THANK U! (Ur parents must be very proud of you both. Kisses also for the beautiful Amanda).

Ali Casper: I have so much respect for you and your level of patience. Your hair looks great! I wish I had that level of motivation lol

Kathryn Wheeler: Love that I have found you videos!! They have made a huge difference in my curls and I actually LOVE them even more. They hold longer and looks so fabulous.

Tiffany Rivenbark: I had nothing to do this morning, so I did my hair and coiled my hair and it really does make all the difference Thank you Finally embracing these curls and it putting them in a ponytail

April Walrath: I tried this on was day and my curls are finally back and poppin!

Lucas Renzo Giovannetti: I love how you call a lock of hair a “family” of curls! <3

Thiades is awesome: Thank you for telling us that finger coiling is good for transitioning! I tried it and I'm 3 days in with almost no refreshing. Just had to re-tame a couple of the usual suspects. Update: Refreshed in the afternoon because the curls were looking too elongated with water+ a little conditioner mixed in. Curls are tighter again.

Sasha Maya Ada: Little did Mell know that we would all have time to finger coil our hair...

Study Hard, Sleep Easy: Your video was fun to watch! I've finger coiled my hair a few times and it hasn't come out the way I truly want but practice makes perfect!

annastayziaa: i absolutely love this video!!! i'm so glad to know now to finger coil upwards to give volume at the root. thank you mel and amanda! <3

Erika Knuffman: I am on a binge watching all of your videos! Thanks for all the awesome & entertaining information!!

ana Cruz: I am going to try this I have 2b 2c fine thin hair and just went natural a year ago as of May 2020 really hoping this works for more uniform curls / waves ☺ thank you for sharing

Caleigh Dahn: This is amazing I needed someone to tell me this and not to give up- you’re awesome and I love what you do!

Linda Day: Hi Mell! Will this technique work as well for permed hair? Love your channel! Thank you!

LauraAnn: I have a 2A/2B wave that I discovered thanks to your video with your cousins. I had an appointment with my stylist today and she was tickled by my wabes. She has a similar texture to mine and she taught me to twist my hair like this too. Except not as extensive because my wave is a lot looser.

ayame shikkoku: I call it twisting too. It marks my age. But it is what it is and what it does thank you for sharing the exact process clearly and freely. You're awesome

ThatOutspokenAce: I needed this video! I have curly waves, but I don't ever section and twist them. If I can get more curls I'm going to try it!!

Shauna Dawn: Thank you so much for sharing your knowledge with us! ✨

Ellen Allentoff: I adore you Mell. Thanks for the tutorial ❤️❤️❤️

Intuitive Pixie: LmaoI finally figured this out after I finally broke down and went to a curly hair appt a few months ago. It took about three weeks lol I finally grew the patience to do this and now I'm playing around with different sizes of curl and I'm getting better! Thanks Mel

Joanna Bartlett: Yes Mell! Such a helpful video, and I am 100% guilty of doing the 'what not to do, I needed to see that. Thank you from Jo B in little old England x

Kesany Liam: I do this method like all the time, and of course those curls be popping!! LOVE MY CURLS...in Brazil we call this 'fitagem'

Lexi Garcia: This was extremely helpful thank you so much for sharing, i love your videos Mell. You are so detailed in explaining this super appreciate it! Keep it up Mamas

Bridget Brown: OMG we have the same curl pattern I'm already one year into my hair journey I'm loving it

Juntasing S.: “You gonna have time, you gonna make time. You gonna embrace the curls. And it’s GONNA HAPPEN!!”

Rebecca Fracassini: At 7:00 you totally described me ‍♀️ I am trying this thanks for the tips. Your right consistency and care go a long way.

TheSevenstrong: OMG yasssss I finally found a true hair stylist for curly hair. Love your tips, love your attitude and love the bloopers.

Aya Abdelkafy: This is the most helpful finger coiling tutorial ever .. thanks ❤

Fairyyy Lee: I think this explains why I have more defined curls in the front of my hair I tried finger coiling but every time I do it I usually stop mid-way. I used to think my hair was heat damaged yet I only straightened my hair a couple times my whole life and it's not colored.I will definitely try my whole head next time I'm styling my hair. Thank youuu

H T: Looking back at this, your hair looks so so much fuller, healthier and more beautiful now in early 2023. Plus the color you have now just matches you so much better.❤️

Irai Rod: Thank you for the tip about twisting while holding the strands up and away from the scalp. I'll try it next time!

Lori Newberry: Love it!! Your a great instructor and your videos are everything!!

Barbara Cooper: I love your channel. Thanks for posting these videos to teach us how to treat our curly hair!

DanielaChris: Almost a year, and I still can't get a hang of it! :( I end up pulling on my hair and hurting myself, and lots of the curls look wonky no matter which direction I twist, and the rest look more like waves than ringlets... My hair acts up all the way between 2B and 3B, and finger coiling just seems not to be working for me :( What am I doing wrong?..

andreoveja: i LOVE YOUR VIDEOS! Im learning to give my curls live again! thank you!!!!

Markus’Samantha Smith: 3a type and I want more defined curls. I love fingering coiling (bc it works duh) but I have a busy life and a baby so I don’t always have the time to do it. My question is how often should I try to squeeze this into my schedule to train my curls to have better definition?

Nowi: Hey Mel, hope you see this but I have a question, so my hair was like coily when I was younger like a 4a-4b type. So then as I grew my hair was super heat damaged and dry. I finally started taking care of my curls and they’re more of a 3a-3b type, is there anyway I can make it coily again?

Sherry Hendricks: Did it seriously take you 3 1/2 hours to twist your hair!? I wondered how it looked so awesome and thought they came naturally. Lol! I’m 55 and don’t know if I can pull it off (mine is not as curly either) but I’m sure gonna try! Thanks for showing us how!

Jasmine Dill: You are literally who I've been searching for for hair tips I have a similar back story, hair, and ethnicity. THANK YOU

Nahren Albelaty: Love you girl not only your the best at what you do you make me laugh throughout

Vikkie Knowles: I love this method and it's all thanks to you ❤❤

Dania: Well, actually I am styling my hair while watching this. Hope it works and bring back my curly hair ❤️

Placid Peacock: For everyone who keeps talking about how long this takes, the more you do it, the faster you get. I have an average thickness and my longest layer is almost to my waist. The first time, it took me about an hour or so, now? 20 minutes tops. My curls are a little looser than hers, so I can take bigger sections, but once you get in the groove, it's really not that bad. I always finger coil. The curls look better, last longer, and are way more damage proof in the wind. The amount of styling time is more than made up for when I can go longer between washes. Love this technique. 100% recommend it to every curly head out there!

Marialicia Chavez: LOL @ when you finish and sigh because you are tired. That's literally me every single time I style my curls. Most of the time I'm not as patient as you but when I am and I finish styling, that is my exact expression! I thought I was the only one who got that tired!

Diana Reynolds: I spend more time with my hair products than i do with my family Being a curly girl requits patience, time and money lol

Cat Green: You literally have the same exact hair that I do. EXACT. Your long brown hair is what I had forever until I recently cut it all off. I'm just so happy to find you on YouTube. Like you're my saviour

Jennifer Guevara: I love you Mell, you are the best. I followed your haircut tutorial with your sister and decided to cut mine. I'm so happy and it looks amazing. Thank you so much ✨〰️➰♥️

Jade Thomas: So trying this in the morning. THANK YOU MELL!

Lisa Perkins: I love the way u are thorough! The last part where you showed the wrong thick curl ... lol that would have so been me!!! I really wish I had found u a couple of weeks ago before I got completely fed up and whacked my hair off!

4mom911 Raelene: Yess hahha embrace it! I’ve barely got on that level I’m finally loving my curly sits been a neglected for so long it’s taken forever or my hair to come back to life lol

Naomi Aklin: I've been trying to embrace my curls the last few weeks, but don't want to go CGM extreme, and this channel has saved my sanity. Here's my question with finger coiling though, for your protect-style-finish method, do you still put your style and finish products in? My baby-curl-knowledge self is thinking curl cream would be out since there's probably enough protect in there, but mousse and finish would be the route to go?

Kelly Cabral: My hair is really fine & curly on the sides but wavy in the back. My problem is my roots go flat. I try holding it up with a pick while I diffuse but that only does so much. It's really frustrating. I'm hoping you have some suggestions. Thank you so much! Love your channel! I've passed you along to a curly girl who doesn't have a clue what to do with her hair. I hope she comes to watch.

Lauren Hannel: 1. You’re hilarious 2. This was super helpful! Thanks so much from another curly girl!

Mrs B: You have the most BEAUTIFUL CURLS I’VE SEEN!!! All the work you put in your hair pays off

Corinne Crabtree: The BEST curl video! This is exactly what I needed and was so thankful for ur humor style ❤️

A. K.: Never saw someone who understood my curls! Can't wait to try this out!

Isabella N. F.: I have 2c/3a above shoulder length hair and as much as I love my curls I could never style it correctly, I always ended up brushing my hair and putting spray on it for school. It always ended up looking like wavy (not that there is anything wrong with wavy hair). I tried to keep it wavy for as long as I could but there was always this one curl that popped out of place between all the waves. It was wavy for about 2 hours and then it started to frizz up and go everywhere, IT HAPPENED EVERY TIME. When it frizzed it looked dry, dirty and thin. (My short hair didn´t help at all, in fact it just made it worse) You see, in my family my dad´s side has curly hair while my mom´s side is as straight as it can be. I used to have this straight ass hair but one day I decided to cut it to chin level. Then it started acting up, my hair started to curl and I really loved it, but it never occured to me that I´d have to pay more attention to it. Since before that I´ve had straight hair I never looked into videos and tips for curly hair and just kept my straight hair habits (That was WRONG) I was looking at the wrong videos and then wondered why my hair just doesn´t want to do the same, I looked at the wrong styling and wondered why my hair doesn´t look as good . So, recently I´ve looked into more videos on curly hair and this really helps , its like a whole new world of things I didn´t do. This channel is also helping so thx.

ChocolatePumpkinCurlyGirl: My hair is BOMB because of the advice I've gotten from Mell. I actually finger curl....I can get it done in 15 mins. Fast.

rachaelerin1: This video is the tough love I needed. Saved to rewatch whenever I want to give myself a blowout or use the straightener.

Vitaemins: omg just thinking about how long this would take for me to do on my own hair but i will give it a try mel i swear!

Heather Frink: New to curly vs wavy hair. Every time I finger coil my hair it doesn’t curl correctly. I don’t seem to “twist it” quite right. Sometimes I see you “holding the end of a strand” with the other hand while coiling. Is that correct? Any other tips for gorgeous curls like yours? Please and thank you ❤

JC7 Blessed: 3:06 Mell: "U r gonna have time. U r gonna make time...It is gonna happen. U r gonna love it" Yes yes yes yes love the passion and the fire #MotivationMonday with Mell I'm ready! I'm ready for a nitty-gritty scientiffy and heated TEXTURE TUESDAY!!!

Black Cat Paints and Twists: How long does it take to get the rythm down? I want to see perfect results the first time, but I know I am not talented with hair so it is going to take a bit

Karissa Seim: If one side of my hair has giant beautiful curls that almost look like I used hot rollers and the other side is small stringy curls, can I finger coil the not so nice side in larger sections to help mimic the other curls?

helena nimocks: do you have to do this every time you want more defined curls, or after doing it a couple times do they start kinda doing it on their own?

Joseph Pasceri: Now that’s a true EDUCATOR my friends. Maybe one of these days we can get a ManesByMell Men Edition!

Erica De Leon: Help! I learned about the curly hair method 5 years ago. I've always had my hair natural but I did all the no no's because I was the only curly haired person in my house, except for my dad....who is now bald...so I had no idea about curly hair care since my mom and sisters are straight haired folk. So for years I used paraben, silicon, sulphates shampoos, I combed my hair and I used a towel to dry. In 2015 I switched over to the all natural stuff. I've tried oil treatments, co washes, shampoo brushes, and microfiber drying clothes. I have used shea moisture, Deva curl, Ren pure, all the good stuff, mixed chick, Maui, you name it. I've tried a large amount of product and I've tried little amount of product. I have had my hair trimmed twice within the 5 years because I'm trying to get length so I just want to remove any damages or slip ends. I've gone a week without a wash and I've gone almost month without a wash. I've finger coiled, done twists and clips and now only finger comb my tangles so no more brushing, and it seems no matter what I do I always end up with dry ends and frizz. And if I end up putting too much product I end up with flat top hair and frizzy ends. I followed so many curly hair routines including some of your videos and I just can't get my hair to look natural when it's down. It frizzes and shrinks or makes a weird shape. It's super flat from the back and puffier from the sides and it's usually only good for one day and the next day it's all ratty again. I hardly ever leave my hair down because of this (Don't let my profile pic fool you. I have extensions in my hair). It's always up in a bun or tied to the side in a ponytail or braid. I can't figure out how to get my curls to just look like yours do right now in the video. Just normal defined curls that stay in a nice shape on my head without any bobby pins, hair ties, hair clips or frizzy and puffy bottoms. There are days I just want to chop it all off and get use to wearing a wig. Do you have any tricks, ideas, ANYTHING that you can recommend to help that I have not tried or mentioned above. I would appreciate any advice. Please and thank you.

Deyanira Roque: Thanks for making me laugh! I really needed that. One question: the hair keeps getting stuck on the finger, no matter how small the bunch of hair is. Am I doing something wrong or are the ends of my hair damaged and that is why they get stuck and don't curl? Thanks again. Keep it up... and stay safe.

Liz Marie: Omg I think I’m in love you’re pretty great! I’m a stylist as well, and always getting girls to embrace their curls. I also have curls and cannot wait to try this

Maria DeJesus: I am new to the “curly girl method”/ healthy hair journey! Wish me luck!!! Lol I need it!!! My hair is wavy though. I wish I had curly hair! By the way, I came across your channel a couple days ago and I am binge watching your videos! Lol Great content!!

LifeIsGood: Thank you! I'm gonna definitely try this

Gina Aragón: I have super curly locks underneath, and wavy on top due to brushing my hair when dry and pulling it back. I need to start implementing this method

Nadia: I find it really hard to finger-coil my hair because it's really dark and I have trouble seeing where the curl begins. Any advice?

A M: I just started with my natural hair journey and my hair is pretty damaged. I hope it will work for me too

S Sll: Just curious, that big section you say “not to do”.. what if your hair naturally does that? My hair naturally falls into huge clumps like that but only at the ends. The roots look like they can be different curls but they always migrate to curl onto each other forming big clumps with broken roots ‍♀️‍♀️
