Thinking i've got frizzy, hair, thick, hair, curly hair. I don't know if i can have the trend. Well, i'm showing you you can hey everyone welcome back to the channel. Thank you so much for being here. I just want to do a quick sort of shout out appreciation sort of talk for a second uh just to say. Thank you so much for all of you guys who have hit that red button. The subscribe button the thumbs up and commented uh join me on my on my youtube journey, bringing you this hair education. I just want to say a massive thank you. It truly means a lot. I never thought i'd be anywhere. I thought i was going to be like my pinnacle's going to be 10k and we're about to double that today, um so yeah. I just want to say thank you so much for for joining me liking. What i do giving me constructive criticism as well. I like the sort of posts which are a little bit sort of negative. They make me up my game and keep bringing you content. You guys want to see talking of that. This is one of the biggest questions that i see in the comments down below. How can i have a wolf cut shag, sort of look if i've got really frizzy curly hair like this, so i've just got this mannequin head: i've tongued it i've frizzed it up i've back combed it with my fingers and and basically brought you like a yeah. Look at her she's an absolute mess, but after today, she's not going to be today we're going to be cutting this uh inspired by marcus gimette he's one of the the mark anthony joyco ambassadors. He did a lively of a week for joyco over on joyco europe's instagram page. I'M actually live next tuesday on joyco europe, instagram page. If you want to check that out, go and follow those guys i'll leave the link in description below but yeah. He did this sectioning pattern and and the way he sort of prepped it i'm going to be doing the same today, but he used a razor and i'm going to be using the butt of my scissor. The butt of my scissor is that piece there and when i come to cut i'll, have my hair out and i'm just going to sort of back cut it with the butter. My scissor use a lot more, so it gives a lot more of like a free flowing texture, but you do have guides. So when you pull it out, there's a guide, you you sort of buy eye or you can pull a piece out there. You go and then just back cut it not suggesting you this to yourself at all, but i know a lot of you do, but this is. This is really designed to take to your hairdresser and say, look seen this guy on youtube. Could you do my hair? Something similar like this: it's what hairdressers do in the salon, uh yeah, let's get into it. First of all products i'm going to be using zero heat is a must. This is uh by the name: zero heat, you don't need any heat, but i'm gon na i'm using the light one there's a light to medium and then one for thick hair light to medium, i'm gon na diffuse into the hair. So you can see it creates sort of this. This beautiful shape natural curl just to firm it up a little bit. Joy gel i'm just going to pop a little bit of that in with my zero heat just cocktail, it together give a little bit stronger texture, a little bit more smoothing as well and then just to prep. You can't go wrong with luster lock. That is what i call a swiss army knife of hair products. You open it up, give it a spray, protects shines. Seals nourishes everything everything if i went through the back of the bottle i'd be here all day to any way it does so anyway, let's get on with the haircut you're going to absolutely love. It can't wait to bring you it. Let me know in the comments down below if you are new hit, the subscribe button uh, give it a thumbs up and let's get into it, so what i'm doing with sectioning i've just done a diamond section around the parietal ridge so where the head starts to Curve curve all through there, that's where the points go, i'll show you through the top, but you put the comb on there and then when it starts to come away from the head. I'Ll show you now just through there. So you can see that and then what i'm doing i'm working around the perimeter - and i am just so these uh well, this hair has got jewelry gel and zero heat and i'm working in centimeter sections throughout the hair and i'm just twisting whatever side i'm on. So, as you know, when you come to curl the hair you twist away from the face, basically so where i'm here, i'm twisting this way and when i'm that side i'll be twisting that way again, another centimeter section and then we're just twisting this away from the Face and what this does when we come to cut it's going to give me sections throughout so here i know i'm going to take to about there. This section i'll, probably go cheek bone. This section we've got jaw. This section will come around here. So then we create that shape coming through there. So this is basically our sectioning pattern where we know we're going to cut and we're going to back cut. So what i'll be doing i'll be? Taking this section like that scissors in back cutting it's going to give a beautiful texture, so i've just found a really good product to help keep these in, because the the weekend, hair and the gel were quite soft. Hair shake is a bit like a beach spray. It'S got a lot of texture to it, not loads of hold it's quite dry, but i found it just keeps the these twists in just like that, and you can cut with it in as well so perfect, but yeah. There is the twists all the way around trying to disturb it, got that on top, which we'll be twisting out after so, let's get into the haircut. So basically, what we want to do is we want to get our central guide, which is here, and we want to pick our mark of where we're going to go, i'm going to go on the tip of the nose and then we're going to backcomb. So i will show you sideways what that looks like, so we pull this out. I don't know why i've got my cone, i don't even need it right, just twisting it again, just if they come loose a little bit, there's the tip of the nose which is there and then what i'm going to do is just back cut like that. Each section will be back cut and have a look at that there's a lot of texture when it focuses a lot of texture in there. So there's our first cut just on the nose. Now it's already got like a really textured edge, which is lovely so now this side will come to the to the jawline and just talking about points of reference, because it's really important, because this is very much free hand cutting if you're, just like oh yeah, we'll Do there, when we come to that side, we wouldn't really remember where we're coming to so we know that's the nose, but that's our middle guide, we're going to come down to that jaw just there, which is there we're just pulling straight out from the head and We'Re back cutting like that. You see that's sitting at the jaw now, so we want to do is want to create it down to here. So, let's just twist this a little bit more, so that was there. So now it's going to drop down an inch. So i know i'm coming there and again: they're just gon na drop down an inch and we're coming straight out from the head, so you can see that you can see that traveling down there now so we've got it there. It just travels down there. So this side, let's just do it up a little bit more, that's to there we'll drop down a little bit to there. Just do this up, that's to there, so we're nearly at the ends here, which is perfect. It'S coming to just at the ear, and if we just look here, there's our last bit, we cut this is going to be literally the tips. So let's bring this around here, so you can see straight out from the head. So this section comes straight out here and then all i want to do is that, and so what you want to see is that shape coming through there. So we move on to the other side. Now now remember where this point of reference was: it's got the jawline so pulling straight up from the head. There we go bang on and then we were an inch from there. So there about an inch straight out from the head there and again through there and again through there - and this is our second from last section, which we know was there, and this one on the ear was just the tips so straight out from the head. There got that shape running through both sides. Now now we're going to come to the back of the head. So what i want to do with the back section now is: i want to maintain a sort of like a square off perimeter. We want to get a bit of layering in there, so what i'm going to do is so what i'm going to do is i'm going to get just one of our central sections and then, where we've twisted it, i'm just going to bring straight out from the Head and i'm going to take off two inches, i'm going to do that throughout, but instead of coming straight out from the head here, i'm going to over direct it slightly. So it comes back. So we know we maintain the length through here because that's where we don't really want to lose, we don't want it to go down and up and then down so a couple of inches so coming straight back a couple of inches back cutting through there and then Again, just twist it back coming back a couple of inches back cut in there, and then there is our ear section. So there was our ear section there. So we've still got three more sections to go, that we're going to bring back and we know we're maintaining length because we are elevating slightly, but we're also over directing it backwards. And then there was our ear section. So that's still a little bit longer bringing it right back here and there we go so that is our perimeter. Just nice and textured same on this side, i'm going to take two inches off. So, let's twist it the other way, two inches two inches and that's where we get the elevation from so we know we're maintaining the length at the bottom and it's just gon na be putting texture through the middle and then we're over directing it back not to The middle, but just straight back from the head and then we're taking two inches off through there ignore these little bits of red. In here this was a an old mannequin head, but i'm going to be turning this into one of my colors for next week's live. There and here's one of our last sections, so you can see, there's our length a little bit longer, so we're just bringing it back twisting it back away from the face and then about two inches off. Let'S just shake that out, so you can see what it's done so there's that shape there so you've got that fringe coming through and that's all opened up through there now this top section and we're going to disconnect this slightly. So i just want to get this twist it round. So for this section i just picked up some bigger scissors. This is the top section and what i want to do i want to create. I want to like veil over quite a bit of texture, because we've got all this texture in here that we've got from that perimeter, sort of cut we did, but now we want to put this this layer in. So i reckon somewhere about there and i reckon if we just so all i'm doing is using the butt of the scissor like that and because we're working on somebody who's got curly hair. We know it's all going to bounce up and spring up, which is why we didn't go too drastic or too short of it, because we know we're going to be it's going to be bouncing up. So now i've got those products in that you can see that layer in there it's disconnected i'll, just pull it out. So you can see so there's our there's our layer length there there's our perimeter length. So we have got a really heavily layered, but because it was all taken to the middle twisted and then back cut, it's just pushing it in creating loads of texture in there irregular lengths to an extent. This is still be very balanced, but this is just going to be really cool, really textured and just a different take on a wolf cup, because i know a lot of you out. There want who have got curly, hair, frizzy hair and they want to wear a wolf cup but they're afraid to go too short in case it bounces up. So i showed you what i took so off the top i probably took around about four or five inches and uh. The placement of the diamond is is key because you'll see you get a bit of a, i mean, look at that. That is blended perfectly, and that's because, where the diamond came down to, we were able to take away this internal layer and then just it just meets up with this perfectly. So i'm going to get this dried and i'll be back in a minute. So let me have it guys, a really simple technique to using the salon to create a textured wolf cut, nothing too short, but just gives loads of texture really accentuates. The curl uh takes the curl pattern into consideration as well, because you can, you can really customize how short you're going to be back combing this hair, so where i was looking at the nose. You'Ve got these really nice short bangs in here, and it just it. Just sort of like melts away, so it's a bit shorter here. You'Ve got this length down here, shortness here, but i think it just looks. I think it looks perfect but yeah. I think it looks stunning like having this curl really controlled, but loads of texture in there being able to have a bang on trend right now, if you're, if you're worried about the frizziness or how to ask your stylist, how can i cut it? How or not how to cut it, but how could i i really want a wolf cup, but how could you approach it with your stylus is what i mean because you're thinking i've got frizzy hair thick, hair, curly hair? I don't know if i can have the trend, but i'm showing you you can like. This is you've seen how frizzy it all was at the beginning. Yes, i'd sort of backcombed it, but a lot of people's hair is like that, naturally wake up in the morning. Frizzy, so i wanted to make you see it, but look at how perfect those coves are i'll show you all the way around. Look at that volume through there, but not volume through here, because you don't get with wolf cuts. It'S not about the volume through the top, it's about the the expanding of the shape, which is what we're looking for and that i absolutely love it. I think that's one of my favorites actually one of my favorite techniques. I'Ve always back cut, but i haven't done it for a wolf cut. I don't think i've done it for a video, so i thought i'd bring you it but yeah this is. I mean you can just get your fingers in there and really really expand the shape. Even more like you should be able to see that layer, yeah look, you can see all that layer all coming out now and that is that top section look at look at all that layer in there. So i'm gon na have a little play with it. I'Ll take some pictures of it uh as a final result, but you've seen them just wan na make it a little bit more uh expanded, because i absolutely love it and it's not frizzy. The products are used i'll link down in the description below they were at the shop, but it was weekend hair, color therapy spray, you've had the joy gel and you had hair shape and the hair shake something that really controlled when cutting not really a cutting lotion. That would use if i was working a comb through because it makes the hair quite uh dry and stiff, but it controls it and for curls it's perfect, so yeah. I am loving this so if you've loved it too. Let me know in the comments down below if it's helped you, if you think right, i'm gon na go to my hairdresser now gon na get a wolf cut. Let me know i'd love to know so. Uh yeah until then hit the subscribe button. Give the video a thumbs up, comment down below and i'll see you on the next video

mustapha degdagui: I love it ! Sadly i dont have this hair texture , my hair are curlier than this , i would really appreciate it if u did a mullet / shaggy and a wolf cut on really curly hair ! Awesome video btw

Janine D'Souza: THIS IS SUCH A PHENOMENAL TUTORIAL!!!! I have hair this length but a good bit curlier, I had someone else follow all the steps on me and it came out amazing! If you’re a wavy/curly-haired person looking for the right wolf cut tutorial vid, THIS IS IT!

Claire Stratton: Now this is exactly my hair texture, I’m growing mine and starting to wear it natural. I use a razor and cut my sisters hair in a very similar way with the twisting. Works well x thanks for the video

Rebecca Jaycox: I feel like the wolf cut is BEST on a hair texture like this! I wish my hair had this kind of texture. But I’ve found that bath robe curls+ a living proof volume spray (I don’t remember the official name) & it gives enough texture& movement for my updo hairs for work.

Elsie Roe: I love this curly version of the wolf cut. Beautiful.

Joan B.: That's beautiful! Thanks for doing a curly hair style.

Daiane Lima: I've just tried it. I have a very thick 2b/2c hair, medium lenght, which already had a wolf cut. I decided to try this because my hair had lost all the natural texture when the hairdresser cut it in a regular way. This video really helped me and my waves are starting to show off again. But if you want to try this, just be aware that this twisting technic will cut a lot of hair off and it's almost impossible to do without a good pair of scissors. I mean I do have a small pair of professional scissors and it almost couldn't do the job.

Alyssa Suro: Thank you for posting! I just made a video following your method on my hair (3A/3b curls). Really happy with how it came out!

Sonny Stephens: I like you. Nothing negative to say what so ever. I followed your original tutorial and it looks great. I did my daughter the same way and she looks great too and we’re both curly girls. The mannequin loos a bit sad and/or angry though

Blake Lost Weight: Hi Paul, if I was doing this cut on someone that wanted to lose 4/5 inches of perimeter length at the back, would I elevate lower to remove that? Or cut the length first? Or something else? Great tutorial as always. Thank you!

Logan Lemonslice: Please show on real naturally curly hair! X

Martha Villagran: Thank you for sharing your techniques!❤

Emily Babb: you are absolutely the best hair/beauty youtuber in my opinion. You are not only incredibly skilled and talented but so warm sweet and kind! Thank you Pauly <3 xx

Maheen Shaiq: This was fantastic! I need to try that disconnected diamond. My hair is much tighter curl than the dummy so I don't think I can back cut without the ends loooking too thin but I'm definitely going to try the diamond

Ella Concepcion🦋: Woweee!! My hair is the exact same type! Can't wait to try this!

MissMargaret: A shag is the ideal haircut for my curly hair. I’ve had so many good hair days since I cut mine.

Stefanie Debraccio: Wow totally doing this!!!! Such a great look

Laurie Elliott: Excellent, awesome demonstration ❣️

kaoru Shimura: Wow wow wow stunning results ……. As usual, simple and efficient…… love it. Thank you for sharing Paul. I’m sorry not to be always able for the moment to follow your live with James…… but I’m trying to catch it after Hope you are doing well and your back good Take care

aurora: THANK YOU SO MUCH! i’ve just been denying to do it for a while cuz i thought my hair was too curly or wavy, but i’m gonna try it today MAYBE

Lora Myers: I can listen to his adorable-ass all day, he's easy on the eye's to right y'all! He is also a brilliant stylist and articulates his technique so well I think I just might give it a try!

Kozummees: Tysm I’m getting this hair cut and I’m definitely getting this love it btw

cyberstar: wow! I guess this can actually look good on me since my hair looks the same.. gonna show it to my hairdresser :))

Magaly Rodriguez: Gorgeous!!! I will try it!!!

Warrior Spirit Experience (Jen): Love this because of the longer fringe, or bangs as we call them here in the US. This resembles my hair type better! Thank you so much!!

Oonagh72: How does back cutting it cause split ends? My hair used to have multiple splits up the strand, my individual strands are quite thick. Just curious. This cut really is beautiful. The nice thing about this cut on 4c hair is it allows one to keep volume, but have less hair to deal with.

Laurie Elliott: Brilliant, I have never seen this technique before

Azerbaycan: en az 1 milyon izlenmeli bu video çok yararlı ve faydalıböyle kolay saç kesimlerini lütfen paylaşın

Frieda muljono: Very spectacular technique ....beautiful result....very useful for me .I have lots of curly hair clients ...Thanks so much for sharing ❤❤

Suzanne Watts: Love it Paul. I think it’s the best wolfcut xx

Anna Spencer: Thank you!!! I can to do it at home by myself)))

Rebecca Jaycox: No lie I got a little nervous when you got to the back. It looks amazing!!

Susan: I want this cut! I have wavy/curly hair gone natural grey now..I know it's a cut for younger people...but I want this one!

Gina Warren: I think this cut is perfect too. I want it!

Holly McNair: Can u do it on curly hair not wavy hair please

GoodLuckMel: Any other good haircuts for this hair texture? I am looking into cutting my hair soon and looking for a change :)

Rusty Hole Emporium: Love it!

Daisy Rosario: Going crazy with that look!

Karen J: I loved the end result of this cut, not sure of the process

savana demille-wickens: Could you do this same technique but add a curtain fringe? Would it still look good? My client has this texture but slightly more curly around the face.

HombeWithAnOmbre: Skip to 3:00 to actually see the haircut

none: What is the right haircut for straight hair, but short?

Toni,s hair styles: Your welcome Paul also sorry I wasn't on here last night I had a friend crisis it looks excellent as always and well done ☺️ ❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️

Terry Gore: Reminds me of Farrah Fawcett back in the day. Love it!

Camila Murrell: This haircut is great! But sadly it's not for curly hair, I would say that is for "wavy" hair which is different than mine

Paula D. Patterson: THANK YOU!!!!

Maggie Kelly: PERFECT!

Mable Bee: I did this on my autistic daughters hair and she loves it, thank you for show how to do it!

Pamela M: Love love love amazing!

Beatriz: Amazing!!!

Heather Johnson: Only hair channel I have subscribed too. Love your videos

RosalieLamorliere: Mmmmh looks very nice, but I have naturally curly and frizzy hair and will never let hairdressers use razors or any back cutting like this on my hair again: done it multiple times in the past and the result has invariably been crazy dry split ends and massive frizz. Big no for me unfortunately...

Rochelle Holmes: Great cut!!

ᴄᴏᴘᴀʀ ʟᴜᴀɴ: Would appreciate you list the items so I can go straight to the product. As it is it’s on your page and I haven’t a clue what section it’s in so not bought. ☛ⁱ ᵉ lustre lock. I’ll just put that in Amazon. Luck if it’s on your list. Would like to support you tho

Skybertine J: What to do if you have a side part hair?

김세준: i've always wanted a wolf cut but my hair isn't this curly, it's curlier and thicker, and frizzy, i'm not sure if i will look good in this hair cut because of my hair, hope u will make this vid again but with thick frizzy hair

elelni123: Ok but what if we r doing it ourselves, sometimes we can’t be in back of us if we r cutting our own hair? Any tips?

Cece: My hair is frizzy and it's shoulder length, it's only curly when i air dry it but it goes away when i comb it, my curls are unnatural but will this still look good if comb it?

Zehra Karakaya: Süper teknik

elelni123: I have this hair! Yes! What about tips on products for curly heads????? Lol

Nadine Menashe: Yep, making my appointment now!

Sylvia Bustamante: I love it, but my hair is strait, thick an long

Jane Smith: I love the cut, but that mannequin hair is NOT frizzy! If you backcut frizzy hair it's going to frizz even more. I'd love to see you do this cut on an actual person with frizzy hair.

Maheen Laila: kindly more haircuts videos about frizzy hairs /curly hairs ..

Rachel Prichard: Love ❤️

Samcut: hi, you could do Britney Spears haircut in 2001¿ i like your videos

bts army: This is same hair as mine

ꜱᴀᴍᴀɴᴛʜᴀ: I need Yeji's hair from Itzy in the LOCO era

andi: My hair is frizzy and poofy and I tried to cut it shorter like above my shoulders but it always ends up even more poofy like a clowns wig and I hated it so much. Yes, my hair has volume that many people dont have but many poeple also have never seen too much poof on a hair like mine. I read on google that frizzy and poofy hair is best cut into a wolf cut with many layers to thin out some of the hair but I'm a bit skeptical. I have always loved the look of a wolf cut but my mom is a bit worried that it might frizz my hair up even more and I don't was my hair to look like pubic hair on top of my head. I dont know what to do XD

Júlia Silva Emrish: watching this after i cut my 2b hair and it became 1c what do i do?

aikanae1: Just need 100x's more hair.

Helen: Yea rite. Who the heck is going to want to twist each small section like that

Azerbaycan:

Monique: Can you do ryujin itzy please? her new hairstyle

Alison Griffin: Where is your salon based?

Nabeela Hamid: THIS HAIRCUT WAS SO EASY AND LOOKS SO PRETTY!!! I have really thick hair that is a little curlier than the mannequin but lacking volume from the cut I had at the salon. I followed this tutorial and now my hair has so much volume and shape, I cannot believe I cut it myself and it looks so good!! The only difficult step was the diamond part, make sure you have someone to help you. If you have curly hair, save this video!! Thank you Paul!

Bekah Oxley: My curly hair is too my ass sooo still not going to work cuz that’s not long hair

Abraham Ortiz: As much as I like the British accent you talk so much I get anxiety

Allison Jaye TV: If anyone cut my 3c hair like this I'd walk our after the first piece. This is not how you cut curly hair

Cooking like a Chef imma 5 star Micheline: Mate!?

Amrutha Mrinalini Iyer: This must be a joke right.......that is not curly hair AT ALL . It's at its best a shabby wavy unbrushed hair!!! Calling it curly is borderline offensive.
