Hey come friends and welcome back to my channel, I posted pictures on Facebook and Instagram of this style that I did and you all asked me to do a tutorial. So here it is and just FYI I am NOT naked. I know someone's going to say something right, but I'm not naked. So here's what I use to snappies. You can use a shoe string or ribbon taliah waajid, curly, curl cream, a couple bobby pins, maybe like two or three and then a rat tail comb and a rate comb or pick. This style was just like really a random style. So I parted my hair in two different sections: three different sections. This first section, I guess, is some what type of isosceles looking part, I'm just a skinny triangle towards the front. You don't have to part your hair, the exact same way that I parted it. You can add your own, creating TC and make it a little fun. Next, I apply the taliah waajid curly curl cream. I love this cream, it's super moisturizing and it brings back a definition of your curls. Almost like a gel. Would the cream is what gives my flat twists that juicy and moisturized look? Okay, curl friends, I'm going to try to explain this the best way. I know how I like to flat twist with my arms in front of me. I take a small piece at the top corner, where I want to start my flat twist. My right hand is my dominant hand, we'll the one with the big tattooin. I think the video kind of mixed it up so I'll be using my right hand to twist, over top, so I'm taking the right side right pieces of hair and putting it over top of the left pieces. With my left index finger separating the zoom with my right index finger, I reach through that separation and with my right thumb, scooping my edges and then grabbing that left side piece. Now, that's in my right side and that's going to be twisted over top there. Basically, in places and that left index finger comes through for the separation, you see that separation, and then we do it again. You put your right index finger through the separation scoop, your edges with that thumb. Holding on to that once was left piece and now bring it over back to the right piece. How am i making sense yeah for me flat, twisting and cornrowing are all about what your dominant hand is but feel comfortable feels comfortable for you and your arm and hand placements. So it's different ways to go about doing it, but this is the easiest way that I showed myself how to do it and just a quick tip, even though I sped it up. I want you, ladies to take your time while you're flat twisting it's not a race, it's not a rush. It'S about how neat it looks and it comes off very, like squeaky, clean. Looking once I finish the flat twisting. I just two strand twist all the way down to the ends and then put it off to the side. Now, because I'm right-handed my doing flexing the right side of my head is a little bit more difficult than flat twisting towards the left side of my head. So you're basically doing the same motions that I showed you for the other side, but just in Reverse. So I just want to reiterate again that flat twisting isn't as hard as you think it is it's just all about what your arm is feel comfortable doing your hand and your arm placement and about just having the patience to do it slowly and messing up. Isn'T a bad thing starting over isn't a bad thing either, so not at the front. Part of my hair is flat twisted the way I wanted it. I go ahead and brush my hair up into a puff and use my snapping. I only used two because, since I flat twisted my hair in the front, I don't have that much hair in the back to play around with. So I only use two snap peas. I put the snap be around from the back and then cross it over in the front and slowly tighten it and as I'm tightening it. I push my hair up with my thumbs and then snap, the snap peas behind my puff and just pull up until I feel like. I got the shape that I want and the puffiness that I want. You can either tuck those flat twists into the string or your snap peas. I decided to use bobby pins to secure them a little bit more firmly. I just got a trim, so my hair is a little bit shorter than it usually is, and my puff isn't. As big, so I just play around with my puff until I get the shape that I want, I use my rake home. You could use a pick to just add some volume and just pull your hair up and to give it that maximum puffy puffiness. So I added a little bling to my hair, just to give it a little bit of a pop, and this is basically the ending style you can add whatever you want, beads clips with or whatever.
