Starter Locs On Medium Length Hair (Loc Journey)

All right guys, I am saying goodbye to the Afro. This is the beginning of a very new journey. Yes, that's right, natural beauty is locking it up. My husband was talking junk and talking about that, I couldn't do it and I wasn't gon na do it. I was too scared and I would never catch it, so I'm competitive gal - and it's not like it see if I can take some pics of the before and after and in some video shots, while she's doing my hair. So stay tuned, hey guys! What'S going on today is December, the 27th and it marks my very first day of my second journey. I have been natural for about seven years. Had a couple of big chopped, screwed out got tired of wearing a puff, and I realized that I was wearing a lot. A lot of kinky twists a lot of yarn braids, a lot of small Platts and as y'all know, if you don't already, my husband is a dread head and kind of had a little bit. So I figured if I do it all the time as a protective style. My so-called way right. So today is my first day. I just came from the bar, not the barbershop, but the salon, and I got my hair twisted comb twisted. I have officially about 120 to the same amount as my husband. I would have liked them to be a little bit smaller I'll show you. I don't know if you can see I'll, try to show you agreed and yeah. I, like them, they're, really really shiny, and I know I'm gon na be going through the ugly stage. I don't know if I'll put on them. I might just get a wig or whatever I really don't do weeks, but I'm gon na have to do something, because I cannot stand for to have other cars. I started with probably 7 inches of natural hair, so I cheated a little bit as far the growth. I don't know it's gon na take a longer time for it to lock or a shorter time for the lock, so I'll be doing tracking that pretty much every time I get a retwist I'll, probably go to herd, probably three times. However many times it takes for it to lock and then I'll start doing it on my own and then I'll get into the styles and stuff like that. But if you guys stick with me, you're gon na see how natural hair can't progress into mature, locs and watch the growth and stuff and I'll still be doing videos of my husband's hair. Now, as far as the curl eveness, if you're wondering why it's so curly, she just clipped me see beckons show you she just clipped the very roots of it and she left this part loose being that up. It really wasn't necessary for it to clip because it's going to shrink anyway, so I didn't even worry about it once my hair hits the heat and the shower it will probably drop. So today is number one: oh yeah, if you're wondering what I'm gon na do, because I am in the military guys I got injured and I'm getting out the military a couple of months, I'm getting meant for it for all of you who know what bed board Is one says, though, is when you get injured and you get out basically, so I'm getting out a few months and if it should happen to trend before those months over that's why I'm getting awake to cover it. So I won't get bothered as far as having trained in the military. So that's my pulling in and uh yeah. So what I'll do into a dreads I'll, just probably clip it here and or put a little band like this and just put a little handle on? Not sure if it's time I have, I had my my two strand twist around the Laplace. Once again, it will drop once I get out of the shower so I'll come back in a couple of weeks then show you guys the progress and then we'll go from there, but yeah that's pretty much.
