Hey guys!
So its been quite some time since I’ve filmed a short hair tutorial, so I thought I would sit down and show you guys my go to hairstyles for the Summer/Fall season. These hairstyles are perfect when the season starts to transition from Summer to Fall! Here in Canada it gets super humid during this transitional phase, so these are great when you are trying to fight the frizz!

Hey guys and welcome back to my youtube channel, so I just filmed this makeup look and I realized that I haven't done a short hair tutorial in a very very long time. I just recently got my hair cut about three to four inches, because I am trying to grow out my layers, so I thought, since I'm almost layer less I mean I still have a few layers, but since I'm almost where I would like to be, I would Sit down and film a short hair tutorial for you, so if you guys would like to see three easy hairstyles for short to medium length, hair, then just keep on watching alright. So to start, I'm gon na brush up my hair just to get rid of any tangles that I may have and I'm since my hair was really clean. I'M going to just spray some dry shampoo throughout my head to kind of add some texture and to allow me to hold my hair a little bit better so for the first hairstyle we're going to do a French braid. So, as always, I cut the top half of my head off, but I'm going to section my hair into three sections and as I am crossing the outer section over the middle, I'm going to pick up some hair and add it to that section. So again, I'm gon na add some hair to the outside section, cross it over the middle and then go to the other side. Add some hair to that section and cross it over the middle. As I work my way down my hair now, this hairstyle might be a little bit difficult if you have layers, but don't worry, I have another hairstyle coming up just in case you do have layers, so I sectioned off the bottom of my hair with an elastic Man and of course you can always leave it like this, but I don't really like the little baby ponytail that kind of comes out like a little rat tail. I have no idea so I rolled it up and tucked it underneath to kind of create this updo and that's it now. If you have layers this hairstyle is perfect for you, this is the pull-through braid and the reason why I like the pull-through braid is because you pretty much tie off your layers so that they're not sticking out, so you don't have to worry about it. Popping out of your braid, so first you're going to section a small section of hair at the front of your head and tie it off with an elastic band and then you're gon na flip. That one forward and out of the way and section off another section. Underneath that top section, and also tie that off with an elastic band, once you're left with two separate sections, what you're going to do is you're going to take the first section, split it in half and grab the back section and pull it through the two splits And pin knot up and out of the way once you have these two sections or then again, grab some hair from both sides. Add it to those two sections and tie it off with an elastic band and then again you're going to grab the top section split. It in half pull the back section through the top section, pin it out of the way and continue these steps all the way down your head. So once I got about midway through my hair, I'm just going to grab the bottom section and kind of tie it in a messy, bun and pin it to my liking, and that is it and for the final hairstyle of this tutorial, I am doing my favorite French braided bangs and then I'm gon na add a little bit of beach waves just to add a little bit of texture to this hairstyle. So again, I'm gon na take the front section of my hair split it into three and cross each section over the middle section to create a French braid, all adding hair to the outer layers. Once I reached about eye level, I stopped picking a pair and then kind of braid, my hair, all the way down, secure it with an elastic band and, of course, pull it out to fluff it up just a little bit, and then I grabbed this braid and I pinned it to the back section of my hair now to create the beach waves I'm going to grab my flat iron, and I honestly have not done this in years. So what you're gon na do is you're gon na grab a small section of hair and you're gon na clamp, your flat iron around it and as you working your way down your flat iron you're, going to pull it away from your face and then angle it Towards your face and then away from your face and then towards and then away as you work your way down so out in out in out, so you just kind of twisting your wrist back and forth out in out in out as you work your way down. Your hair and you're gon na kind of be left with these beachy waves. That kind of look like you just woke up with this wonderful, wonderful hair, like you know, but yes, that is the final look, and that is it. Those are my 3 easy hairstyles. TheBest Username: Ok, it's very possible that I've been living under a rock because I don't watch beauty tutorials very often. But, I've personally never seen beachy waves done this way before and I would have never thought of it either! I have always used my small'ish straightener, wrapped the hair around the straightener like a curling wand, then slid the straightener down my hair and it creates a beachy wave. But I'm so trying this method because I pull pieces of my hair out doing that ALL the time. Also, you're so beautiful and I loved the rest of the video too. Thank you!
