14 Hairstyles For Medium Length| Relaxed Hair

Hi guys welcome back to my channel if you're new, what is up my name is nicole. Thank you for joining me in this video. I'M going to be showing you my favorite hairstyles that i like to do. When i decide to do my hair. I don't do these styles, often because half the time you know with this pandemic, especially i'm in my bed, i'm in my pjs and i'm just chilling. So i don't need to do my hair. You know what i'm saying i don't need to, but i decided to come on camera and show you what i like to do with my hair now that it's at medium length on the days that i decide to do it. You know what i'm saying so these hairstyles are good for, like every day, they're good for going out. You know what i'm saying going to a nice little cute dinner nice little cute day, but as a whole. These are just some hairstyles that i love doing on days that i just want to look cute and i want to look glam, and i want to put a little bit more effort into my hair. Besides just wearing it regular schmeguer, i showed you some buns. I showed you styles of my curtain, bangs. I showed you styles without my curtain bangs, because i know there are some people that have a fringe. That'S growing out right now and they just don't know how to style it. So i've, given you some ways on how you can style it and how you can hide it, so you can still make your hair look really good without showing them, and i've showed you some hairstyles that you can do if you've got curly hair. Like myself, my hair is actually one cold right now my hair is relaxed. I did relax my hair about five months ago. My natural texture is 3c3b. However, i did relax my hair, so my hair is bone straight, but i achieved this look using a curling iron that i have here all products and everything that i used will be listed down below in the description. So if i don't mention it in the video make sure you check the description and that will show you everything that i used where i got it from and it'll be listed down below, but i did use a curling iron to achieve. This. Look like i said this is by far one of my favorite looks. I'M super excited as well for it, because, whenever i curl my hair, my hair shrinks. Obviously, you know like my hair is a little bit longer than it would be if i curled it and every time i curl my hair, i can see how long my hair truly gets, because the waves come longer because obviously they shrink. So it looks short. I hope what i'm saying makes sense, but i can see how much my hair is actually growing whenever i curl my hair, because i can see a difference in the length of the waves so yeah, i'm especially excited for that yeah. I'M not gon na ramble anymore. I put some heat on my hair, which i don't really do, but because i love you all so much, i decided to put heat on my hair and curl it. So you can see what i do when i curl my hair so yeah. That is basically everything that i showed you in this video. I don't even know like how many hairstyles i did in this video. I actually don't know. I just know that i did a lot. I just know that i did a lot but anywho. All you want to do is slick your hair back, as you see me doing here, okay, slick everything back even the bangs the fringe and put it into a nice tight ponytail. You want to make sure that all your hair is smoothed out when you do this, so that you have no bumps no lumps and no flyaways once you've done that you want to take a hair band, and you want to secure your hair as tight as you Can get it don't do it too tight, though, because you don't want to hurt your head but tight enough to where everything is in place, and it's not going to move once you've done that you're going to take your edge control any edge control of your choice. You can even use gel. I wish i used gel, but i used edge control in this video and you want to go ahead and lay and sew your edges. How you typically would, if you've got short pieces like me in the front. Now is the time that you want to conceal them so take some bobby pins and pin them to your head and once you've done, that you've completed the look okay. So if you want to take this look up a notch, if you want to make this look even more sophisticated, then you want to turn it into a bun and the way to do that is to just twist the hair on itself and then secure it with Another hair band, and there you have it super simple, milo bun. I love this hairstyle, it's so easy to do, and it is one of my go-to's. The next hairstyle is one of my signature, hairstyles that i love to do especially now that i have curtain bangs. So all you want to do for this look is just section the curtain bangs that you have or the fringe or any piece of hair in the front of your face. That is shorter. You want to section it away from your hair and then you want to tie the rest of your hair into a ponytail just to keep it away for now, comb out your fringe or comb out your bangs, and then you want to take a cute headband of Your choice and just put that on your head, and that's literally it for this hairstyle, it's so cute, it's so elegant, it's so sophisticated. I get so many compliments. Whenever i do this hairstyle, i absolutely love it and it takes literally two seconds to do so. If ever you have a bad hair day, just put on a headband and you are good to go. Ah the half up, half down signature hairstyle - i don't do this hairstyle often, but when i do do it, this is how i like to do it. Do you do it? Oh, my god, what you want to do is you want to section the front pieces of your hair? In my case, i'm sectioning off my curtain. Bangs. If i didn't have curtain bangs, i would just section off two pieces in the front. So do what works for you, and then you want to part your hair in the middle of your head. You want to try and make it as even as possible so that your ponytail on the top of your head to make the half up half down, isn't too skinny, because otherwise it's going to look weird. So once you've made a section and you're happy with how thick it is, that is when you want to go ahead and just smooth out the rest of the hair, so you want to smooth it up into a top knot. As you see me doing here, you want to gather all your flyaways or your sideburns or your short pieces if your hair is shorter than mine. This is the time that you would use hairspray and bobby pins, but i didn't do that because i'm doing multiple styles and hair sprays just a lot when you've got a lot of hairstyles to do in one day, so anyways, that's when you would use um bobby Pins and you'd use hairspray, but you want to secure your hair into a headband. That'S how you do the half down. I love doing this. I don't do it often, but whenever i do tons of compliments, okay tons, this style is super easy. All you want to do just like the last hairstyle. Is you want to make a section in the front of your head just part yourself, a section as thick as you want it to be once you've done, that and you've smoothed it out. You want to then put that section into a ponytail just like what you see me doing here and you want to tug on it. So it's nice and tight. You can leave it like this. This is also cute, but i'm going to put it into a bun and the best way that i find to do this is by twisting the hair on itself and then wrapping it around my hair tie. That is it. You don't need anything else, nothing else at all, once you've done that you want to take your edge control or gel and just further slick the flyaways down. You can add some baby hairs to each of these looks, but i didn't because you don't need baby hairs for every single look. Okay, sometimes you just appreciate your natural hairline and it's just as good. This hairstyle is exactly the same as the last one, but, as you can see, my curtain bangs are down they're, not in the ponytail. So all you want to do for this look to make it different to the last one. Is you just want to section off the pieces of the hair that you want to leave in the front everything else you tie it into a ponytail like we did before, and that is how you do the look. So you just want to slick everything down. Stick all the flyaways brush it back. So it's nice and neat. I didn't do these hairstyles very neatly, because one i didn't have a mirror. I was doing this with my viewfinder, so it was very hard for me to see what i was doing. So that's why these aren't the neatest that they can be, but nonetheless you get the gist of what to do and how to do it. So i'm sure yours will come out way better than mine and way neater, but yeah. That'S how you do this hairstyle. I love it if you feel, like your fringe or your short pieces, are a little bit crooked. Now you want to take your straightener and just perfect it. I wanted to include my curtain, bangs or my short fringe pieces in most of the looks just to show you that you can style it even though they are shorter and they are a nuisance. Sometimes you can style it in ways to make it look cute. You don't always have to hide it so yeah, that's why you see them in this video, the low ponytail. This hairstyle is quite similar to the first one. Only difference is my curtain. Bangs are out. As i mentioned, you don't have to hate your little fringe pieces because they're in the way you can find ways to do cute hairstyles with them. You don't have to hide them all the time, and this is one of them. I love doing this ponytail. I just feel so sophisticated and just so elegant and classy. I love this hairstyle. This hairstyle is super easy. It'S super girly, it's super childish, but i just love it like it's. Giving me 90s vibes literally. All you want to do is take two clips and just put it on the side of your head, and that is it. You want to smooth down the section first before you put the clips on and then you clip it to your head very simple again, you can add some baby hairs if you like, but i didn't in this video because that's a lot of edge control. A lot of edge gel - and i just wasn't doing that, okay, so yeah, you can put some edges if you want to to take this look up a notch. Just do the same thing on the other side, literally just repeat it: on the opposite side, and there you have it four clips in your hair, very simple, very easy, but very cute, very cute, my voluminous waves. I get so many compliments with this hairstyle, but i don't do it often because cutting my hair for me is just the longest thing it doesn't take long to do, but i just find the whole process long anyway. You want to take your curling wand, any one that you have, preferably one that is good for the length of your heel thickness, and you want to section your hair off in heart. Make sure you wear a protective glove, i'm not even joking, because the last time i curled my hair with this specific curler, i burnt my wrist, and i have an ugly scar because of it so make sure you're using a glove just to protect yourself and once You'Ve applied everything to a hair, heat, protectant and a glove. You want to go ahead and curl your hair using small to medium sections, and you just want to do this all throughout your head, do so very simple, very easy, but very sophisticated. It'S giving me like chanel vibes. I don't know why, like vogue chanel, i just love it. This next hairstyle is very, very, very similar to the last one that i showed you with the double clips. The only difference is that my hair is curled. So again, i'm showing you that you can achieve the same hairstyle on different types of hair as well, because not everybody has straight hair and not everybody has curly hair or wavy hair and some people don't want to wave their hair and some people don't want to Straighten their hair, so i'm showing you that each of these styles look very good, regardless of the hair type that you have or the hair type you've chosen to work with that day. You know what you want to do is just place two clips on the side of your head, and that is it for this hairstyle super easy. This last hairstyle is very similar to the one before, but again my hair is curled, so all you want to do is just section your hair off in half from either side your ear, and then you want to section off the front just so it's away from The rest of the hair and once you've done, that you want to go ahead and tie the rest of your hair at the back into a bun. Just so it's out of the way, with the section that you tied off in the front. You want to go ahead and slick it down with a brush and some edge gel, just so that it's nice and tight and sleek, and then you want to secure it with a ponytail once you've done that you just go ahead and twist it on itself, like We did the last one and wrap it around, so it creates a nice little top knot and that is it go ahead and perfect it. How you would like add some baby hairs. Add some clips some pins whatever you need to do to make this style work for you, and that is it for this hairstyle. Thank you all so much for watching.
