Instructions:

1. Pour the henna into a glass bowl. Mix the henna with warm, distilled water (you can also use black-brewed coffee or black tea) until you reach a yogurt consistency.

(If you are wanting to cover some grays, add in 2-3 teaspoons of apple cider vinegar)

2. Once mixed, let the henna sit to activate for 45 minutes (if the henna hardens up at the end of the 45 minutes, just add a couple drops of water to loosen it up again)

3. Divide your hair into four sections. Apply the henna from the root of the hair to the tip, making sure all your hair is covered.

4. Once you are done applying the henna, cover your hair with a shower cap (or saran wrap). Let the henna sit on your hair for 3 hours (the longer you leave it on, the better the color will be).

5. After the 3 hours, rinse the henna out of your hair using cool water until the water runs clear. you can use a sulfate free conditioner to help remove the henna. Do NOT shampoo for 48 hours after henna-ing.

6. Enjoy your new hair color!

Hi there today we are going to be talking about our medium brown henna dye, we're going to jump right in and open up the inner packet of the powder. You will want to pour your powder in a non-metallic bowl. We used glass depending on your hair length. You may need to empty the entire packet into the bowl once the powder has been poured into the bowl. You can slowly add in your liquid. We use black coffee to help deepen the color. Now you will want to start the stirring process. If you find you need to add in more liquid, that's fine just pour in a little at a time. In the beginning, it is a very slow process. So, as you can see, even though the stirring has begun more liquid is needed, go ahead and add in more of your liquid and then stir. If you look closely, you can see that there are still way too many lumps at this point. You will need to begin the lengthy stirring process you will want to keep stirring until you have achieved a cake, batter consistency keep stirring because otherwise lumps will make the application difficult. I know it seems like a lot of stirring but trust the process. As you can see here, there are still some clumps, so more stirring is needed. It is an arm workout, but it's essential for the stirring to continue we're almost to the final stretch of the stirring process after you've finished stirring. Your henna should look something like this cover and let the henna complete the 45 minute die release process section here and apply cover for three hours: rinse with cool water. When you're done thanks for watching like comment and subscribe,

L M: I’ve used this multiple times, and the results are gorgeous, though the smell is pretty awful. The dye easily lasts six weeks, and it is very reasonably priced for three packets. I’ve recommended it to many people. Thanks for a great product!

Sandra K: Do you think you could use an immersion blender to blend?

Teddy P: Best on super clean hair or not? When should the hair have been washed before coloring for best results?
