Hey everyone today I am bringing you a chunky flat twist tutorial and I'm gon na show it. So I started on freshly washed hair, I'm using fortified Naturals, leave-in and intense hydration potion, so my hair did air dry. I had got out of the shower and let it dry for about 30 to 40 minutes. I do wish it was a little bit more wet, but you can take a spray bottle full of water and help keep your hair more damp. So I think I do end up doing that throughout the video, because it was just getting more dry than I wanted. So I took I applied the product sprayed some water down and I'm ready to do my flat twist out - and this was my third attempt doing the whole head of flat twist and I was excited how it was coming out. So I wanted to film it and don't feel discouraged, because my first, like 10 tries we're a fail. So I tried again until I got it so here - I'm just taking two sections of my hair small pieces and I'm going to twist down the side of my head and as I'm twisting, I'm going to grab little pieces of hair on the way down. So I twist those two pieces of hair grab a piece of hair. As you see there twist grab a little piece of hair and it doesn't have to be perfect, not perfect little sections. Some of my sections are bigger than others, but you just want to make sure you're grabbing that piece of hair to add to the twist each time that you twist the two sections together. So you twist add a piece of hair twist add a piece of hair. I hope that makes sense, but I'm going to show you again in the for you. So that's how I got my first flat twist and I'm going to do nine of these all over my head. I wanted to show you again. I applied the fortified natural products of my hair. I did spray some more water to the section just for there was getting a little dry since I waited too long into the shower to film this, but that's okay! You can do this on damp dry, wet hair. So here I'm doing the same thing like I showed you in the first clip as I'm twisting I'm grabbing little sections of hair to add to the twist. So it's six to my scalp and I'm just going to keep on twisting and then at the end, I'm going to finger coil my ends to keep the twist in place. So for all the sections I do make them a little bit bigger, since it is a chunky flat twist out. If you want them smaller or bigger. You can do that because then parts you like, but here I'm doing nine and I'm just gon na flat twist that all the way down and I fingers coil the ends. You can add a perm rod to the end if you like, but I just finger coil over end here. Okay, now time to let these babies dry, I'm going to let them air dry, but you can also use a hairdryer if you want to speed up the process, all right, so it's the next morning and I'm taking down these flat twists and you just want to Make sure that your hair is a hundred percent dry, because it's not you are going to deal with more frizz, then you would like so I'm just going to take these down and unravel them and separate them and then get ready to pick my hair out. To add some Bolly all right so now it's time to fill up the roots and give this hair some volume. So just take your hair pick and fluff at the roots. Don'T take the hair pick and run it through your entire hair, because then you're going to lose definition to make it a little bit crazier, but just right at the roots and do that until you reach your desired volume and look and don't mind my face there. Because I am watching the Patriots game and they had just scored a touchdown, so I was excited, but anyways just keep on laughing until you get that shape and volume that you like and on average. I do pull up for about five to ten minutes and I just take my time at the roots. Okay, so just do those last-minute touches. I think I like how this looks now, so I'm going to rock it there. It is there's my chunky flat twist out and all the information is going to be in my description box that I use and so on and so on. So thanks for watching, I hope you enjoyed and make sure you guys subscribe comment like share all that good stuff. Alright. So then there is a final book thanks for watching I'll see you guys next time,

D.D.: Awesome video!! I'm tansitioning to natural. I'm 4 months in and my roots are thickums! Lol but chunky flat twists have been doing wonders for me. I actually really like doing it the morning after I wash my hair, so it's moisturized and detangled . I spray just a little leave in (cantu naturals moisturizer and water) and aloe Vera gel, and flat twist it and let it set for 1-2 hrs. I never thought I could do a twist out on dry hair and not overnight, but I love it! I can't wait to try the fortified naturals you mentioned in your video.
