Hello, everyone, grumpy dog, don't be grumpy, bad kids, don't have kids y'all hi everyone. My name is amber and if you clicked on this video, you already know what's up, but i did a thing and i'm really excited i'm gon na tell you. I have baby logs. I have baby locks they're one day old, so their newborn their newborn locks, honestly, not babies, yet newborn. So, let's get into why i decided to lock my hair like a lot of people angry dog. How does he want to cuddle me, but he wants to growl at me at the same time, and when i try to move him off of me, he gon na growl at me. Look you're crazy. I decided to lock my hair honestly because i was fed up. I was trying to get my hair braided in my box braids, not this box braids by the same person i always go to, because i do not trust other people in my hair, because, even though the pictures look good, you really never know how it's going to Turn out so i was um trying to make a promo with my consistent braider, but she wasn't really getting back to me and then it had been like two months. So i'm talking since i came home from school in february. Until now, which is almost august, i've been trying to get my hair braided um, and that didn't happen, but i'm also really over like wigs and wearing my hair, like that and i'll definitely insert pictures. Maybe it'll be right here and take pictures or videos of how i usually or normally will wear my hair and it's usually covered up honestly with like a wig or some type of protective style like braids um but yeah. That'S how i normally wear my hair, but as we got into quarantine, i started like just trying to manage my own hair, so i did like plaits and then after plaques i did my wig again and then i got tired of my wig, like so tired of It and i decided to twist my hair and i thought that the twisties were like so cute, like i just felt like they were the style for my face, and they were the style that i felt really really good in so i was like hmm. I really like these twists, but i'm not going to want to keep redoing this like every week and a half because they were pretty much done in about a week and a half, and so somebody was like. Oh my gosh is your hair locked. I was like no lol, no there twist, but then i was like wait a damn minute. I'M gon na lock my hair and i told my sister first and she was like you're, not gon na. Do it and i was like i am, and then i told pretty much everybody. I know almost everybody. I know, because if you want to make sure you do something tell a bunch of people, so i told a bunch of people. I made my appointment and now here we are, and i'm really excited to go on this journey um. I didn't expect them to look like this. I thought they would look more like the free-ish bouncy ones. If y'all know what i'm talking about, those were the ones i thought they were looking more like like um. Was it comb curl, comb, coils, y'all, know what i'm talking about, but i thought it'd be more like that and like bouncy, but that's not the technique that my um lactation used. She actually like twisted it at the root and then i think she palm rolled my hair down, which is why it looks it like. It looks like baby locks like somebody has locks but they're like skinny. That'S pretty much how my hair looks right now, um, but i like it and it helped me retain like a lot of my life and stuff um. I wanted y'all to see my grid pattern. It'S a nice! I like that. She gave me really um, really neat boxes and i have a really pretty middle part for when i want to grab my hair in the middle part. I have these little this little baby right here, because heat damage is real y'all and, like my sew-ins, when i used to wear sew-ins, this was my favorite part. So you know i was straightening the mess out of this part and that's why it got fried off. So it was, it was like long, but it was like it was straight from like here to here, so i ended up chopping that before i ended up even went to go, get it done, but yes we're one day locked. I'M extremely excited to do this like so excited, i can't wait for them to get big and luscious and pretty and even a little bit messy, because i actually like my hair, like that, but yeah um first day lot and stay tuned for my journey. M.K.C. Technology: As your locs start to Bud and mature it'll get bigger and also make sure you're getting a retwist only using water because if you use gels and wax to do a retwist your locs will start to get build up and a lot of gunk which is not something you want in your locs
