Cool Girl Hairstyles 2020 Easy Hairstyles For Long & Medium Hair

Hello welcome back. I had a really fun idea for today's video. I wanted to share with you some cool girl. Hairstyles, let's be honest, whatever you think is cool is cool, but these are the hairstyles that i've seen all over instagram lately and i thought they'd be really great to share because they're super quick, they're, easy and they're just a fun way to switch up your everyday Hair all right, let's get started all right, so, although these hairstyles are super effortless, i want my hair to be very soft and smooth, which requires a little bit of effort. You can see right here. This is how my hair will naturally dry. So this morning i already went ahead, a hair mask with this briojio hair mask. I picked this up during the sephora vib sale and i love it. It just leaves my hair, so soft and smooth plus it smells very nice all right, i'm going to take out my towel and i'm going to apply my favorite step of my hair care routine. All right! So i'm going to take a couple drops of this carestos scalp, serum and just drop it into your hand, and i'm just going to just massage this all throughout my scalp, and this will just help to hydrate the scalp and leave your hair, frizz free and then To help smooth the rest of my hair, i'm just going to take a couple pumps of this kristoff, robin hair serum and i'm just going to massage this through the mid lengths and the ends. And this will just help, strengthen and smooth the rest of your hair, and i just like to like push it really gently into my hair and then, of course, i'm going to finish it off with just a couple pumps of this acidos hair oil. This is going to lock in all the goodness - and this leaves my hair, so soft, smooth and super shiny, and i always apply it around my hairline too, that hair likes to get nice and frizzy this also he protects. Did i mention that i meant to all right so for really smooth straight hair? Typically, i have to blow out my hair with a round brush, but for a much easier and faster way. I like to use the brush attachment on my dyson airwrap. This makes blowing out your hair a dream, but i'm first going to go in with this attachment just to help my hair dry down a little bit and then i'm going to go in with the brush attachment to help smooth it and blow it out. Okay, look at that. It seriously dries your hair, so fast, i'm just going to go in with a straightener and just touch up any little areas all right. So my hair is prepped, i'm going to change into my cool girl outfit and let's get started all right. First hairstyle is a throwback to the 90s so smooth and gather all of your hair right at the base of your neck and then tightly hold it with your left hand and then grab just below your hand with your right. And then you want to tightly twist. Your hair counterclockwise once around your right index, finger and then tightly twist your hair one more time while bringing it up the back of your head all right. This sounds way more complicated than it is once you try it. It'S super easy, but this is a great technique, especially if you have long thick hair just to keep everything tight and fit into your clip all right. Take your clip come in from the right side scooping up that twist and securing your hair. Alright, there you have it super simple, quick and, dare i say, chic, i love it. Next is a minimal effortless bun. I guess that's what makes it cool so gather all of your hair into a low ponytail and don't forget to pull out those face, framing pieces and then begin securing it with a hair elastic, and i finally got my hands on some that match my hair. But on that last loop cross at the top of your ponytail and just begin pulling your ends through until you create your desired bun size, so i've been noticing uh, larger, softer buns have been quite popular lately, all right so pinch and pull some small pieces of Hair around your crown for that added, effortless, cool girl, vibe and then you just want to take a small piece of hair from the underside of your bun. Just begin wrapping around your elastic to cover it up and then tuck it underneath your elastic, and this will give the hairstyle that cool, minimal, look and then use some hairspray to tame those flyaways and there you have it. I love how simple and minimal this hairstyle is, and i've noticed that it's becoming a fairly popular bridal hairstyle all right next up is the ever so popular braided ponytail that first inspired this video so begin by gathering all of your hair into a ponytail and i've Been noticing that just above ear height, not too high and not too low, seems to be the cool way to go alright, once you smooth it down secure all of your hair into a tight ponytail, no effortless bits this time, we're going for smooth and sleek next. Take a second hair elastic and secure your ponytail about two to three finger widths down. Now i opted for all beige elastics, but you could do a clear and black would look cool too once secure it time to bubble. All you have to do is pull on the outside of your hair, just above your elastic and make sure to pull on all sides. So you want to pull in the front the back to create that bubble effect. Oh, but you don't want to pull too much. It'S all about that subtle bubble. All right then secure another elastic about two to three finger widths down and if you can keep your ponytail behind your head, while you're securing it'll come out much straighter all right. My favorite part pull on the outside of that section. To create that bubbled look and then keep repeating down your ponytail as far as you like, and if you end up securing a ponytail too high, or maybe your bubble is too small. You can just slide your elastic down your ponytail. It'S all good, but i repeated this pattern all the way to the very bottom, and there you have it. This is such a cool and easy way to dress up an everyday ponytail. So there we have it. Those are my cool girl hairstyles.
