Dyson Airwrap Long Complete | Fine-Medium Hair First Impressions

Hi everyone and welcome back to my youtube channel and welcome to today's video. So today's video is going to be a first impressions on the dyson air wrap. I got this in the post yesterday. I ordered it direct from the dyson website on thursday with day delivery. I'Ve wanted one of these. For a few months now i've been watching loads of youtube videos on it, loads of tick, tock videos on it. When i did finally decided that i was going to buy one, it was sold out everywhere. I could not get one and then i've been checking on stocking formula and it come up that they was in stock on the dyson website. But you had to go through the create your dyson styler steps and it will let you buy it. If you went to shop, it said out stock, but if you went through the steps to create your styler it let me buy it and i was just so shocked. I couldn't believe i actually finally got one. So these are like hot cakes right now. I did get the long version just because i have long hair, so i didn't want to like settle for the short version, knowing that i can benefit from getting the long ones, i'm so glad i waited it out and finally found the long version. But, oh my god, i've literally, i have looked at it, but i haven't tried it out yet so i've just washed my hair and i'm just gon na go for it. I may do it wrong. I don't know how it's gon na come out, but i'm just gon na. Do it on camera and see how it how it comes out, and just i thought i'll do it this way, just to show you how easy it is to use and or if it's hard to use, we don't know yet, but um yeah. So it comes in this case, and this just feels so luxurious so luxurious. I think this is faux leather and you open this up, and i think this is a heat map. If i'm, if i'm correct, i think this is a heat map um and it comes with like the little instructions and you can like click on the qr code on your phone, and it will tell you how to do it. I'M pretty sure, i'm a little bit confident that i know how to do it because i've watched so many videos, but you don't know until we try it and but so basically this is what it looks like in the box. So i'm going to read off my phone, what you get in the box, because i'm no expert - and i don't mess it up, so you get the 30 millimeter and the 40 millimeter air wrap barrels. This is what you get curls with the 30 millimeter one gives you volume, voluminous curls or waves, and the 40 millimeter one gives you except curls, set loose curls or waves. You get the firm smoothing brush, which is this one, which gives you a straighter style with less frizz with fewer flyaways. So this is good if you've got frizzy hair and it also comes with the soft smoothing brush, which creates a smooth blow-dry finish. So i'm guessing. It'S that one with the pink bits on the little pink bubbles, and it also comes with the round volumizing brush, which is this one. So this just gives your hair a lot of body, and i think i've used this before with a normal hair dryer. I like the brush version, so it comes with that i'm guessing this will be good to do like if you've got a fringe and stuff to give you volume um, and it also comes with the pre-starting dryer. Now you could totally use this as a hair dryer. I did turn this bit on yesterday, didn't blow dry, hair or anything with it, but i just wanted to see the power and i could totally dry my hair with this. I don't know why people saying you can't when it feels no different to my normal hair. Dryer but we'll see when i try it out flak for real um, but i'm guessing. If you have really thick hair, it may take a while um, but for my hair i've got like medium to fine hair. Currently, it's quite fine, because i've got postpartum hair loss. Really bad um. I could totally use this to dry, my hair. So if you have fine hair, you could use this as a hair. Dryer no problem, so you obviously also get the styler which you put the different attachments on and it's not as heavy as i thought it was it's not as heavy as i thought it would be, but it is pretty sturdy. It'S quite a nice weight. It'S not too heavy because i can imagine if it was heavy. Your arm would aid by doing this um, but it's not light at the same time. It'S it's a nice weight. Basically, so it comes with three different speeds at ends and three different heat settings, and it also comes with a cool blast here and at the back. This is basically where you just unlock and clip in the different attachments. So i think the next thing to do is to just go for it. I'M just gon na. I think i'm gon na go with the 30 millimeter barrels and curl my hair. Let'S just go all out all out, so i'm gon na see how it turns out. So i'm going to start with just block drying my hair a little bit first, so it says you need your hair to be about 90 drier um, my hair is getting dry, but it's still pretty wet. It has quite a lot of moisture still in it. So i'm going to use the pre-styling dryer first and then i'm going to switch over to the 30 millimeter barrels. So i've moved my big mirror here. So if i'm like this at some points, it's because i'm trying to see in the mirror, because i've got my ring, light and camera here and i can't fit my mirror behind the ring light, so we're just going with it so yeah so yeah without further ado. Let'S get into it, so i'm probably going to do i'll, try a medium heat set in and see how well it dries and i'm going to turn it all the way up, because i want to get this done quickly. I'Ve turned it up to the full feet. Sitting, because that's not, that is definitely not hot enough. Okay, i was saying my hair is like 90 dry. Now. It'S just got a tiny bit of dampness still in it. I don't want to dry it too much so that actually did dry pretty quickly, even though it's not as hot as a normal hair dryer that did dry, pretty quick and i'm just going to brush my hair out for technical teaser, just because i've got bleach in My hair and it gets super nutty and i have just used vanilla as well, and i find that makes my hair super knotty after i've just watched after i've just washed it. So i'm going to clip half of my hair up, i think and do half and half. I don't think i need to because my hair is that fine, but let's get the full experience and follow the instructions of how you're actually supposed to do it. Okay, that's not that hot! I thought that was gon na be super hot. Then, when i took that off it's not oh, my god, i am covered in hair. If anyone has any tips or advice on postpartum hair loss, please let me know because my hair is really suffering right now, and so basically it comes with two barrels and, as you can see, they've got arrows on, so the one's got the arrow going. That way, you want to use on this side of your face or your head, as you would say, and the one going that way you want to use on this side. This is just so you get them curls going away from your face. If you let them go towards your face, and you can do that, i suppose, or if you want alternating curls, you just have to keep changing the barrel as you go, but i think i'm going to do it this way. So i'm going to have my curls going out because that's how i always curl my hair, so i'm going to start with is that the right one? Oh! This is confusing yeah this one. So i'm going to start with this side on my left. Side click it in that's in so i'm scared. I'M really scared! Why am i scared? Okay? So, let's just take a bit of hair. Oh my god! Why am i so scared? It'S just a freaking hairstyle? Okay, it's just a hairstyle amy! Why are you scared? Okay? I was going to use the smoothing bit first, but i don't think i need it. My hair is pretty smooth, so, oh my god, all right, let's go, i think i'm going to do it at full heat just to get like the full effect and full speed. Oh, my god, okay, i'm so glad i've got the long version because, as you can see how much hair is on that. So i'm going to do it for about 10 seconds and then i'm going to blast it with the cool. The comfort in you just set that in oh, my god, oh my god, my hair, never curls like that. Never, oh my god! I'M really impressed with that. That was so easy when it grabs the hair. It reminds me of. Is it avatar the film when they attach their towels? That'S what that reminds me of. Oh, my god, right, let's go let's get into it, so i'm probably going to speed it up and do all my hair. So i'll put you on a time lapse and i'll probably see you halfway through or when i'm done this town's so lame, i'm feeling so wired, it's 4 00! Am i'm not even tired, we're almost there listen to the midnight radio listen to the midnight radio, so that is my whole hair done that took me about 15 minutes, but it took me a little while to get used to it. I was holding the hair like up here when you just hold the ends and it sucks up and it's so much easier, and then you just pull it towards your head and it's yeah. It'S so much easier. Instead of holding the hair up here like how like how i was, if you hold it at the end, especially if you've got long hair like me, it works so much better. Oh my god! I need to do this. I am really impressed with the results. I don't know how long my hair is going to hold this. I definitely need some hairspray, but that was so easy like no like holding your arm up with like a tongue or anything like that. Once i start getting used to, i can definitely get that time down and i can probably do that in like five ten minutes because of how much hair i have and so yeah i'm gon na. Just let this sit for a minute and then i'm gon na just gently brush it out, put some hairspray in um, yeah and i'll show you the finished results, but you could. I could totally just go out like this, but that doesn't look crazy at all. My hair feels, like you know you get that really light feeling after you've been to the hairdressers. That'S what it feels like. I feel like it's very dark. Let me turn you up yeah, that's what it feels like. It feels like. I'Ve just been to the hairdressers and i've had like a full-on. I'Ve had like a full-on curly blow dryer, i'm i keep saying it, but i'm so impressed of it like that is so worth the money for this result. So let me comb it out and put some hairspray in and i'll show you the finished result. So i've just combed it all out and put some hairspray in, and this is the finished result. Please bear in mind. I do have like fine hair, so i don't have a lot of hair um, but i am so impressed this will normally take me about 20 minutes of a wand, um, and that was just so easy like just so effortless just. I definitely can't wait to try out the other attachments um like the smoothing one and stuff like that, and i really think you can get a really good bouncy blow dryer with the round brush. So i may try that out in a different video. I can't believe that i actually can't believe it, i'm really impressed with that. I really hope this holds my hair generally doesn't hold curls for more than like a day or two, and i don't have people get their curls to last like four days, because i can never do that. But i really hop if this holds even if it's just for a day. I could totally do that. I could do that in the morning before the school run. Um no problem, so yeah um. If you are looking to get one of these, i would 100 recommend getting one. It is so worth the money just completely worth the money just for this bit just for these two, these two together, oh my god, it was just so easy, like so easy, um, yeah i'll show you like the back of my hair. If i can so, i think that brings us to the end of this video. My overall impressions is, if you want one of these go out and buy it, you won't regret it.
