Hi everyone i'm rodona from boys and girls hairstyles. Today i have marsha with me. She is literally one of my favorite. She uh found me on youtube. She'S been down because she's been down quite a bit. Now it's i mean, we've been doing her hair over and over, but i want to show you her cute haircut um when, when we're done you're going to see how fun it is um, she does have more fine hair. You can do this with a thicker. You know with thick hair also, but it it definitely works for both um i'm going to come down here at the bottom. I'M just going to trim this up a little bit, i would say a quarter of an inch and she had a little longer when she first started to come down and we decided to go a little shorter and it's been easier. Hasn'T it marcia. Yes, it was so that's been yeah, that's been nice. Okay, so then make sure their heads tilted just a little bit and their chin. Is you know just just straight this way? You don't want it down. Yeah, it's fun. Her husband come down the one time um. He actually liked my little town, they have a side by side and he went riding why she was getting her hair done and he really liked it. Didn'T he. Yes, he had fun. Yes, he says you know. Maybe we should move your knee fine, that's right exactly when when he said that i was like. Oh my goodness, that is amazing because he's like, oh no, we don't i'm not going to go there while you get your hair done, but no he was good. He had a good old time he enjoyed it, he did it. He just came in and said wear your hair messy like that. That looks awesome. It was. It was so cute when, when i went to dry it i went back and forth and he's like just stop right there. Just you know yeah. He goes. I really like it like that. I'M like! Oh, my gosh, you were awesome. There'S a few layers in there or something i don't know: yeah yeah. It was the layers and then um i put the mousse up through the top and yeah. I just started to dry it and he's like no just leave it like that. I, like it kind of messy like okay, you go either one that's right now we're stacking a little bit, i'm taking little sections and i'm holding it out this way. Um i like to take that corner off just so, she doesn't have bulk in the back. That'S been another easy thing for her. She doesn't have as much in the back to to deal with and don't you feel like martha it martha marsha anyway. You know what i mean. Yes, oh my goodness um you know it's. It just makes the the style, the layering look good. When you have the bulk out of this area yeah, i feel like a lot of people um, you know, especially if they don't want to go way short. They have some length back here, but yeah. I feel like it. It just helps to take a little bit of the bulk out of the bag. It feels more styled. So if you guys out, there have some bulk in the back and you're not liking your style. I bet if he was to take that bulk out of the back some of it um, i'm not saying you have to like stack it really. You know steep or anything, but to take a little bit off would be awesome. I think you would really like it. Yeah, it just falls in into place. Yeah, that's yeah, that's true! It does it just kind of falls into place before i have these holes or i'd have these. I don't know why right and you try to like place the hair. Look at the background wow. I don't even have to cover anything up. That'S amazing! Yeah! It'S just going good good, good i'd love to hear that. So, in the back, it's cute too, when when we go to dry, it you're going to see in the back that we have the 4r like at the bottom um with just the 10 volume, it's deposit, only it's a 4r arts from goldwell, and it's just really Pretty it's a it's a red color, and then we have the light going through the top um and some of the red through the top um. There is a little bit of bleach a little bit halfway through out, but then all of the main area um just to cover the gray, is a seven double in, and the double n actually covers great with the 20 volume. So anyway, that's been a really good. Color uh to blend blend all these colors. Together, it's been really really nice. We got that figured out at first. We did a little bit too light um and that's what i like. You know when people come back, you can, obviously you know see how they like it or what's different, and so anyway, we added a little bit of red through the top, and then that really light brown that covers that gray and it's worked really good. So far. She is she i love when she comes she's, always making me laugh. Everybody needs a laugh right, it's a good thing, so you can see that i'm just doing um a 90 degree angle, taking about a quarter of an inch here just to shape it up. Um last time she came, you know i just barely trimmed it and kind of shaped it, but i feel like we've done that a couple of times, and so i feel like we needed to take a little bit more off than a trim, because you know obviously Trimming it is great, but it seems to you know if you just keep trimming it every six weeks, five weeks, you're gon na, have you know your hair will just grow, and so i feel like it grows out of its shape. So, anyway, that's why we are doing a little bit more than just a trim. So, okay up here on the top um, you can see these layers from the back. I'M just going to come straight across here. Take some of that length and over here on the sides just pulling this straight out coming around her head shape, yeah, we was talking too. What'S that my teeny little head, i love it. You cute little thing. I know it it's funny how you don't realize how many different shapes of heads there are out there. Well you're right, you got your peanut head, you guys yeah exactly my boys, you got your hair that shrinks. You got yeah, it's true. My boys always tease my youngest boy that he has a big noggin, like, oh goodness, he's like yeah with all those brains, i'm like yeah. Oh, that's, all the smarts in there buddy opal. Well, love it love! It love it yeah. When you have a puny head, you need a good haircut, that's right it does. It does make a difference. Yes, it is. It does okay and now, with your bangs, how are those feeling they need? They think good, so just just kind of try. This, maybe just trim them a little, and then i kind of i don't know: do you where they up here kind of goes to this layer a little bit yup exactly so it's not so yeah yep, but yeah they're a little bit long too. For me to piece it, if i, when i do do that, okay, perfect, yeah and you've you've been doing it kind of up and over kind of yeah, i kind of bring it over even from over here. Even you know like a on the side. Sometimes i bring it over [ Applause ]. I love that to the side, and so i'm just framing her face so just coming down this way, because i love that when it when it does that yeah taking a little bit of that length just so when she does dry it over, she can have it Kind of up and over some here a little bit and then of course frame her face, and i love it after we get done. You know drying. If we need to you know, texture or cut something you know shorter or whatever, then we're good to do that too. So, okay, now texture. We love, love, texture, okay, so up through here, i'm gon na hold this. You can see where it bends. That'S where you need the height, so i just cut into that just a couple of times same thing here, i'm not going to do a ton, but she does need some just to give it some some body a little bit back here. Then, of course, we will use the root lifter. Yes to lift that yes got ta. Have that and that's so fun. I love you know, okay, so one squirt of moose um. I love it because she's from out of town - so you know she's not in my town, so it's not like. Sometimes she run over and grab product um. So it's so cool that the product ships right to her house - that's been nice, very nice excellent product and if, if you you know just like today, she does need some moosh. She doesn't need it all. She'S just going to grab some white she's here, but it's nice. So if you guys need anything shipped to you, let me know, and it will be done all right now - the the thickening spray yep okay, little sprays of that and then we'll go back and forth here to get the body [ Applause, ], just kind of go To the opposite direction, it was so cute, so i literally had it kind of like this huh yeah. I was like yeah just just leave it. It was so cute, [ Applause, ], okay, so it's about 80 80 percent dry um. I always like to dry it to about there until i start drying the rest of it. If it's too wet it's going to. Oh, do you want this down, or do you want it kind of flippy you downstairs is down good okay. I like the way i okay do both that's what yeah that is nice, you kind of change it up, yeah, sometimes she'll kind of wear it flippy and a little messy and cute that way, and then sometimes she'll wear it under. So it just depends on okay. So now i'll just take another little section up, yeah my kids love marsha too they're. They love it. It'S fun. They get to know her a little more each time. Oh okay, now another little section up here: [ Applause, ], you'll, see too, when we're done. How gorgeous this color looks with her skin tone? It just is beautiful, absolutely [ Applause, ], beautiful [ Applause, ], so [ Laughter, ] this side. Looking good, you gotcha, you love it. We always say she needs to go on a date soon, she's done her mother. Take her out, that's right, you sure, will love it. [ Applause, ], [ Applause, ] now! Well! This will warm up in like eight seconds yeah. That'S a ten, because there was just a couple: it's gon na sink to us! Oh, i mean not seeing, but you know let us know that it's all ready to go just going to flat iron, this a tiny bit yeah. I wanted to get some of your paste too, or you know that oh okay yeah, the clay. Yes, you bet absolutely, is that what you use or is it what's so? This is the oil oh, and this is the light oil, so um, and this this is yeah. This is for shine. This is for any like little flyaways um. You can actually use it on your skin. I put it in my color um yeah lots and lots of uses for it um, and it can also kind of suck into your hair if it's a little dry, it's kind of a moisturizer for your hair too. So it doesn't like it's not an oil that makes it oily or yeah like they're flat or go flatter. Yes, oh wow, yeah, it's not heavy okay and then this hairspray is a light hairspray, it's just the regular um that doesn't make it feel like there's hairspray on it. So a lot of people like that feel but want a hole. So it's a light, hold um, but it's not sticky at all. So of course we like to backcomb because we like big hair right. Yes now, some of you don't need to. If you don't like big hair, just let it be soft and well i don't know, but marsha mine, we like the hair, because i have it right yep. Yes, we like big hair because we have a. I have a puny hand. Your head's not looking she likes to [ Laughter, ], oh cute, and there will be a day i i'm going to cut my hair like we're done this one you'll get shorter, i'm yeah just go ahead and oh that's cute i'll. Just do this like so yeah! That'S perfect: yeah fix the bangs a little bit yeah, you did it and sometimes i piece those out. I know that's good, you know what i mean. I want to make sure that we have this pieced out enough. Yeah and i'll grab some clay and get some out yeah. Just because that's what makes it so cute around your face, of course you got magic fingers, oh you're, so sweet i put clay in there. Well, it must not be the right clay. I use because that's why i'm getting some today right, you're like sometimes like a little bit of the light lighter, not the sticky, oh yeah, that's pretty okay, but you kind of like that uh, probably looking good yep, that's perfect yeah about right, yeah! Yeah! That'S it cute. Okay, how much bigger my head looks right. The cute little face. Okay, i'm going to turn her around, so you can see how it's kind of stacked back here um you have the layers into it. It looks super cute. You can wear it kind of curly. She can kind of mess it up either. I have a dent in the back of my head and and and i'm bald up there and you wouldn't know it with this haircut. That is ever done.
