I know human hair wigs are very expensive and not in everyone's budget. That is why I review ALL types of wigs and am paying special attention to budget-friendly as well. I've purchased a few more budget-friendly wigs and will be bringing more of those so please don't think I've abandoned my wig sisters who don't/won't/can't wear human hair!

Hey everyone. Thank you so much for being here today. My name is denise, i'm also known as heywig's sister on instagram and facebook. Today, i'm here to bring you a wig update, i'd like to give you guys an update on my milano hat fall wig. It'S the wig that i have on my head. I reviewed this quite some time ago and i've had this one now for a number of months. I have been wearing it often many times a week, and i wanted to tell you guys how it's doing so. If you want to know more about this, wig stick around, so i'm in my car right now, i'm actually in my son's car i'm waiting to go in for the parent football meeting, and i thought this would be a great time to give you guys an update. Since i'm wearing the wig and it's real life, and so that's why i'm filming where i am it's not ideal, but i think it'll be good enough to give you guys a sense. Now, if you've not seen my review of this piece, i encourage you to go. Watch it, i will link it in the description below and you can learn more about it. This is a human hair wig by milano, and it is fabulous. It is truly the best wig purchase that i have ever made. I have been wearing wigs for almost four years and i have purchased way more wigs than i want to admit a lot of wigs and because i do wig reviews, i've received a lot of wigs too. So i have tons of wig experience. So for me to say that something is the best purchase ever. That'S really saying something, because i have a lot of wigs that i would consider favorites, but this one for the practicality of it, for how i can wear it anywhere anytime, for how it's holding up it truly is worth every penny that i paid now, if you're, Not familiar, and i did buy this milano did not give me anything for this wig. They didn't even know. I existed before. I bought this wig and so um. For those of you not familiar with human hair. Human hair, wigs are tend to be very expensive. If you find super budget human wigs, i would say under two hundred dollars, i would be very cautious. I would be very concerned about whether or not that hair was ethically sourced, because human hair is a difficult to renew resource. That'S sort of my terminology for it, because somebody has to grow their hair for a long time in order for it to be long enough to be cut and used for a wig. It'S tends to be expensive, and that makes sense. It'S not like it's man-made manufactured and it can't be mass-produced, and so there are some sellers out there, selling very budget human hair and i'm just really concerned about the women who donated or sold that hair and whether or not they were taken advantage of so be Careful, i'm not saying don't purchase budget friendly human hair, but just be really cautious and for those of you used to synthetic wigs and you take a look at the price tag of a human hair and you think who would ever spend that money. There are lots of good reasons that somebody might buy human hair for me personally, i, like all of it. I like human hair, regular synthetic heat friendly, synthetic and i'd absolutely have preferences when it comes to certain fibers, for example. If i want to wear a really curly wig, i think synthetic fibers shine with kernels they're just so they can make all different kinds of curl patterns. They hold their style. I don't have to do anything to style it, and in that case i think synthetic rocks. But for me, if i'm going to wear a wig with a hat or if i'm going to wear a wig that's longer than probably about here, i really don't like to wear synthetic. I think the friction on the fibers is one concern, but i also find synthetic fibers to be really itchy and uncomfortable if they rest on my neck like this is doing, and i just really can't tolerate that some people actually are somewhat allergic to synthetic fibers. So in that case, that person might be looking for human hair, so i think everybody's got their preferences, but for me i really like human hair if i'm going to wear longer, hair or wear it down. I also want to challenge you guys when you talk about. I see the comments and people make kind of shocked comments about the cost of human hair, and i want to remind you guys that human hair far outlasts synthetic, and so this wig is one of the cheaper ones that milano sells um and i can link it In the description below the exact wig that i have on my head, but because it's not a full wig i'll be showing it all to you in a second um and human hair tends to last, i would say five to eight times longer than synthetic there's. So many variables with how long a wig lasts, how do you care for it? What conditions do you wear it in? How often do you wear it all of those things? So it's hard to tell someone exactly how long a wig will last, but on average a synthetic wig lasts anywhere from two to four months: some people after a month, they don't like the way their synthetics look. Some people will wear a synthetic for eight or nine months and don't even think twice about it. So there is some variation there. The human hair can last one to three years, and so, if you take the cost of your human hair, you figure out how many synthetic wigs you would have to have for that same period of time. I think you'll find that human hair is really not more expensive than synthetic in a lot of cases, and so it is something i want to challenge people on when they talk about it, and i used to think that too. But now that i have more experience, i really see the value in having a human hair piece or two, depending on the styles that you wear so this piece right here. Let'S talk about it, i have worn this wig and i'll take off my hat. Who cares if anybody looks at me? This is what their hat falls look like, so they have a very soft bamboo. I think uh material cap on the top here - a nice kind of velvety thing right here that goes right on your forehead. It is so comfortable. So soft, so lightweight no itching whatsoever and then they've got the hair sewn and you can see how they have it. So any hat that i've ever tried to wear with this completely covers that top it doesn't go down back far enough. I think it probably comes only to right about where this is on my hat, so you have no worries about anybody seeing it, but what i love about it is, it doesn't add, any extra bulk underneath my hat when i've tried to wear hats with regular wigs, Even low density, no permatease, wigs, there's always that extra bulk, the extra fibers and it makes me extra hot. I really can't tolerate wearing a wig and a hat for the most part. Now the con of this is, i can't take my hat off if you were to have a full wig on and you were to go somewhere and then you'd maybe want to take your hat off. You could do that. You can't do that with this a concern. I hear people express a lot, is they're worried their hat's gon na go flying off and they'll be embarrassed. I honestly you guys. I do not think that would ever happen. First of all, if you tighten your hat enough, then you've got that security, but because, when i do this, the wig doesn't want it. The hat doesn't want to come off. I actually kind of have to pull it forward to clear it from the fabric and then take it off, and so it would take somebody trying to knock your hat off or take your hat off of you for that hat to come off. It is not flying off with wind unless you uh keep your hat very loose, but if you tighten it to the point where it's on snug and secure you've got that extra layer underneath it that's actually helping to secure it. Almost like a wig grip would, and so i no fear whatsoever even in super gusty winds, i've worn it. It does not even budge. This thing is on secure, so please don't if you want to wear a hair like this, but you're terrified of your hat flying off. I really don't want you to miss out for that fear. I think it's an unfounded fear. I truly do, but milano has a pretty good return policy. So if you want to try one get it and test it out with a hat and figure it out and if you still aren't feeling secure, you can send it back um. This has been washed once, but it probably should have been washed more than that. I think i wore this. I want to say 25 times before i washed it because it just was feel it never. It actually never felt like it needed a wash. It really never smelled like it needed a wash. I just at that point thought i should probably wash it because i've worn it in really super sweaty conditions where this cap here got even a little wet um, but it still didn't get stinky and i've worn it in the rain. I'Ve kind of worn it in all conditions when i got it, they had put some nice beach waves in here and those lasted for quite a long time. What you see right here, i have to take a drink of water hold on all right. Sorry, i'm getting really dry. What you see here is air dried. This is fully air dried. I did not put any curl in it. I didn't straighten it. I did nothing to it. I air dried, it look it. First of all. I hope you can see. I'M not sure how, with the way the sun is, if you can really see this, it is smooth it dried beautifully. It did not frizz up at all. This hair is great quality. Let me see if i can balance this again on the steering wheel. It is incredible quality. It'S soft, it's silky, it's healthy! It takes a curl great. If you want to put a little wave in it, but you absolutely don't have to you can wear it. I have it tucked behind my ears, because i i prefer that look. I always have and what i also find with a lot of wigs. Is they don't they put? They have so much bulk here, it's hard to tuck it back with this one. There'S no bulk and i can just tuck it easily and because i'm growing my hair out right now, i actually have bio hair on the sides to blend which makes tucking it back like this so seamless before i when i when i first got this, i was Still buzzing my hair regularly, so i had i used a one guard on my clippers, so i didn't have very, very, very closely buzzed. I all you could see was stubble. I couldn't tuck this very well because you could see the stubble here with this hair that you can see. That was all stubble, and so, if you don't have any hair um depending on your head size and how this fits you, you might not be able to tuck it back and have it be completely seamless. And when i had my hair buzzed, then i just wore it like this. Let'S get it out and i see a lot of people wear their hats. This way they keep their hair down in front of their ears. It works just fine like that. It looks just fine, it's just my personal preference that i like it tucked behind my ear, but you don't have to have any hair to blend with this. You can wear it like this. This didn't come with ear tabs. I think you have the option of adding ear tabs, so if you order from milano they have so many different colors that you can choose different sizes. I just got that medium. It fits me perfectly. All of my measurements are in the description below and i think you can add ear tabs. You can also add color service, so the color that i got was their dark brown balayage. This is a really light balayage. I love it. I'Ve actually, since then ordered a hat fall wig, which is their headband wig, and i got it in a medium brown balayage and the color down here is way darker. So i don't exactly know how that works and because these are human hair, you're not going to get an exact match whenever you order a wig, because a human being is coloring hair. It'S just like if you were to go to a hairdresser, a salon with your friend who just got her hair colored and you go to the stylist and say i want my hair color, exactly like my friends, she's not going to be able to duplicate it perfectly Because there's so many variables when it comes to coloring hair, i think this is similar, but what i love about milano and why i think they're such a fabulous resource for us is because they operate a lot like a other. The retailers that sell synthetic in the fact that they have different color options for the same style. They carry stock styles, sometimes with human hair, with the retailers for human hair, every wig is different and they don't carry stock styles. For example. I have some videos out showing my lose wig lose wigs is the retailer it's a one of a kind, and so people want to get that same wig and they can't because she doesn't carry stock styles. Milano does so. If you like this, you can get one of these. You don't have to wait to see if a seller is going to get another one, they have a couple of different lengths. I actually can't remember this length. I think it's 16 inches. I it's the shortest one. That they offer and again i'll link it in the description, so you can go straight to it, but when you place your order, there's a bunch of drop down boxes, one of them is cap size. One of them is, do you want ear tabs? One of them is, do you want to add, i think they call it a cut service, so you could have them cut it shorter. If you want to, you can have them add layers. This actually has layers, but you can have them do different things with their cuts. That'S what i love about them. They make it so easy to order human hair. Now, if you customize it, i'm not sure if you can return it so definitely look into all of that, but i know that um. I just think they try to make it easy for us. So that's a long way of saying i still love this wig. It is holding up so amazing. I can see this thing lasting years years and years um, especially if i take care of it. You know every now and then i put like conditioning oil hair oil um. You know leave-in conditioner every now and then because that's what you have to do with human hair, because it's not attached to your head, it's not getting into any of your scalp oils to keep the hair healthy, and so you want to definitely make sure you condition It but it's so low maintenance. Unless you want to add curl to it, you don't have to you, don't have to blow dry it. You don't even have to straighten it. Sometimes with some human hair. It dries just a little bit frizzy. Just like a lot of our human hair does our biological hair, and so then, in some cases it's a little higher maintenance because you have to do something to it to make it look presentable. That is not the case with this one. If you want to wear it in a ponytail, you absolutely can wear it in a ponytail. I have actually i have once. I think you just put it back in a ponytail, and then you just want to make sure you've got the like. I'Ve shown you in other videos where i show you how to put wigs and updos just make sure the nape is pulled down. If you have any hair to blend, you can do that, but it's so perfect. I cannot recommend this enough. I truly truly from the bottom of my heart think this is the best wig purchase i have ever made because okay, so i'm gon na go to a football game tonight, and i mean i didn't want to i'm trying what wig should i wear? How what style should i wear it in what if it's windy? What if it's this, what if it's that throw on a hat, it's so simple! I often keep my wig handy at home. Sometimes i don't wear wigs at home, but if somebody comes to the door i'll want to throw something on really quickly, there's nothing easier than throwing this on and throwing a hat over it. I can even just hang it over like the banister, you know the stairs that go upstairs. You'Ve got your little banister thing. I just let it sit there that way. I can have a wig on in three seconds and if i'm just going to run a quick air end - and i don't want to go put a wig on and all that throw this on - throw a hat on out the door i go. So if you wear hats ever - and you would love ease like that - i think it's worth considering. I have a discount code for you, guys it's wig's sister 10 it'll be in the description. I think that's right. You can save 10 off with that code, but they do have sales every now and then, when i purchased this, it was on sale and i think the discount at that time it was more than ten percent. So if you look at this and it's you're just like you - have heartburn over spending, that kind of money and ten percent off isn't isn't enough to make you feel better about it, wait and see if they have a sale, you can sign up for emails and Then you'll be notified when they have a sale um. I never see these for sale used anywhere. I look in the facebook groups a lot and i never see these, so i don't think people sell them and i don't see why they would, unless they got like the wrong, color and didn't know and and that kind of thing, so they didn't return it. These are so great you guys they're so great, and i get no they're not itchy on my neck at all. I don't get extra hot. I do get extra hot. When i have a hat on, that's just the reality. I run hot all the time i have hot flashes and even before i wore wigs baseball caps made me hot often um, so think about that too. If you haven't worn hats in a long time, but just having this itself, it does not make me hot. It does not make there's no it's a great density, it's not heavy density. It is literally perfect, perfect density. This is like half the hair. So if i were to wear it in a you know, pigtails, it doesn't look sparse and it doesn't look thick. It'S just perfect, so that's my update. I know a bunch of you have been asking how's my hat wig holding up and i cannot it's awesome. It'S just great. I'M so grateful that i was able to save up the money for this, and i do highly encourage you to think about whether or not you can start putting a little bit of money away here and there to get yourself one. If you think doing this with your hair would be a blessing to you, it certainly is for me, so you can wear it with every hat. I put out a short on youtube. A while ago, with a baseball cap, a stocking cap, a cowboy hat, a bandana. I tied a bandana around, like kind of like biker, chick style. You know um, so great i mean there's on limitless. The only thing you can't do is not wear a hat, but other than that, it's so good. It really is. Let me know if you have other questions, you can go watch my full review. If you want to, i mean, i did basically cover a lot of it, but if you want to go check out that full review, i do take it off and show you some of that stuff in that review. Let me know if you have questions again use my discount code get 10 off if you're thinking of buying one or wait until one goes on sale. Thanks for watching you guys, i appreciate you all super super a lot. I really do and i'll talk to you soon. You

Tera Paschoal: I purchased the 16” hatfall from Milano. I am in love! I won’t go back to synthetic. What products do you use on your human hair wig (shampoo, conditioner, heat protectant)?

Clara: A Milano wig is on my wish list they use European remy hair its fabulous quality

Wendy Amsterdam: I think it would bother me to have fabric on my forehead. I sweat easily

Donna Q: I would love to try a human hair but would have to count on them cutting the length by a lot. I see the shortest length they sell is 16 in. I need chin length or a tiny bit longer. And just so you know, the Kira wig by Belle Madam that I wear is $465 now, asinine and such a rip off it's awful. But it is so light weight and so low density I love it. Of course I would never pay that price and wait for a sale, so I for real would love to try a human hair.

Melba S: Looks great on you ma , can you work out with this ?

Denim: that little strip of velvet in the front literally is a mini wig grip. as far as i know (not 100% sure) Milano was the first to utilize velvet inside their wig caps to prevent slippage… then they came out with the original wig grip.
