Rene Of Paris Amara Wig Review | Smoke Ivory | Crazy Wig Lady

Hey guys welcome back to week studio one, i'm eileen, the crazy wig lady. Today we're going to look at this fun boy cut. This is rene of paris. The style is amara. The color is smoke ivory. It is part of the alexander couture collection. Everything you need to know and remember: rene of paris is always offered at a 30 discount at wig studio one. This is a budget friendly style. This would be a perfect first wig. If you're new to wigs, you want to try a wig. You don't want to break the bank. This would be a nice place to start, if you like, really short pixie cut. This is really a boy cut wig. In my opinion, you might really like it. Let'S take a look at rene of paris, amara, okay, amara. First of all, let's talk about the fit. I have a 21 and a quarter inch head circumference. This fits me perfectly. I did not have to do any adjustment, so if that helps you how it might fit you again, i have a 21 and a quarter inch head circumference. There is permatease in this wig. Of course, this is a basic cap, there's no lace front or anything. This is true out of the box, throw on and go now notice. This has a very, very short nape here, very short, it is 1.57 now i know a lot of times if you have hair that grows down on your neck and you don't shave that hair. This probably will not work for you. It is again a very short 1.57 inch nape. Now the bang on this. This little fringe goes from 1.97 to 3.35, just a cute fringe. You can sweep it over to the side. Either side would work. I like that. So you can sweep it over to the side. I just tend to sweep mine to the right, but it has this beautifully layered fringe. The crown is 3.14 and again 1.57 inch nape and it's so light. It weighs, i think, 2.7 ounces, very, very lightweight. Now. Let'S talk about this color smoke ivory. I'Ve never tried this color, but i love it. The first thing that catches my eye is the rooting i like this dark rooting under here has a brown root as you see, and then it is just blended with all of these different shades of white, ivory and platinum and the platinum comes all the way down To the tips very platinum around the very bottom of this around the tips of this wig, so it's not flat in any way it's blended with these different shades, like i just told you and i'm going to show it to you in outdoor lighting as well. That'S another thing: whoever you watch whatever wig reviewer, you like be sure they're, showing you the color in outdoor lighting, these gray, wigs, especially grays and blondes. These studio lights can really wash them out. So it's important to be able to see the color in different types of lighting to get a good idea of exactly what it looks like now. First thing i would do with this as you've seen me, do a million times is i'm going to spray it with some water. I like to separate the fibers again. This is a basic cap i like to get my hands in these wigs i like to mess them up. I don't want it fixed. I want it messy a fun messy style use your wide tooth comb. I just run it through there loosening up these fibers pull it down. I did just a little in the front. Let me show you this coverage now. This has there's my bio hair and here's the top of the ear tab on me right above the ear and, like i said you can pull this all over to the side if you'd like i like it. That way, let's see i'm gon na put it on with a headband of course. Now one thing about this wig it doesn't have much of a poof. You don't have some of these short wigs they'll have a little bit of a poof here. This one has more of a sleep profile in the back, so if that's something you like, i just want to call that to your attention, so you can wear it with a headband. You could clip up these little bangs if you'd, like just on the side and wear a little barrette. That way. Let'S see, i have another headband like that, and i enjoy these short wigs in the winter time as well. I like them with a little hat. I think they're always cute like that, can definitely wear a cute hat with this in the wintertime. Here'S a look at the inside of the cap of amara, like i said lots of permatease here basic cap. It has these closed ear tabs now notice how they sew the fiber into the ear tabs just want to call that to your attention, open wefted, it has a non-extended felt nape and it has pull adjusters here. There'S not a terrible, just not a terrible amount of stretch here, just letting you know again. This fit me perfectly with a 21 and a quarter inch head circumference and this beautiful smoke ivory. I want you to see these different shades like i was saying, platinum, white, ivory and it does come down to these platinum. You can see it here very well.
