Grunge Curly Pixie

Hey guys and welcome back to my channel, I know it has been a quick minute since I've done a hair tutorial, so I figured it was about time. I did one of those for you. This is kind of how I've been styling my hair on an everyday basis. I thought I'd mix it up since a little bit longer and do some curl. So if you want to see how I do this, keep on watching so starting off, I'm gon na protect my hair with some shimmer me blonde. Now this isn't classified as a heat protectant, but it does work as one as well as it gives a lot of shine and a little bit of hold to your hair. And then I will be using the straightener for this today and I only use mine at 370 and I am sectioning off the very front part of my bangs and I'm gon na be throwing all that down and kind of twisting it in different directions. Now the key to this, especially with having short hair, is to curl everything in different directions, to where you don't end up with one clump of just an afro. So I'm curling some towards my face, similar so the stuff on the sides of my head. I'M curling downwards and then, as it reaches that like edge of my head, I'm curling it inwards. So that way it gives more of a design to the top of my hair to where it doesn't all just blend into one. And then I am just taking out sections slowly and working my way to the back of my head. Now I worked curling them forward. Then I worked curling in the backwards and then I curled the section forwards and then the very back. I am gon na curl that forward, for I don't have any weird cadillacs, then to the back. I'M just gon na be throwing everything downward now this won't clump all together, because I do have different lengths of hair back here and I'm gon na put a hair paste in it to add some penis then going in my coat a hair texture writing cream. This is one of my favorite things to do after curling, my hair. It gives some hold to your hair, to where your curl last more than one day for you, as well as some division in it. So I'm just taking it on the palms of my hands and retwisting the curls individually. To add that texture and PC look that I'm wanting to wear. It looks more like a natural curl and then I'm just pushing all my side pieces forward, since they are a little bit longer and then I'm taking some more and doing the same type Yasu tobacco. But I am more scrunching that and twisting it then you're going in with my Kevin Murphy, bedroom hair love this stuff - oh my gosh. It gives so much texture and so much of like a natural volume to your hair, and it lasts it's more of like a product than a hairspray, and I'm just gon na be squirting that back as well and running my fingers through it for some extra hold And that's it super easy super simple. This only takes me like five to ten minutes. It depends on how fast the moon it in a day and it lasts for a couple days for you.
