In this video I demonstrate how to achieve a short women's haircut & style inspired by Kris Jenner, mother of the Kardashian's. This is a cute, sexy, edgy hairstyle for all ages. Kris Jenner has had various styles with her short hair so this one was inspired by her hair when it was a bit shorter.

Thanks for watching!

Hey, I'm Stephen a salon guy, and what do I and Kris Jenner have in common absolutely nothing, but I'm going to show you how to achieve her haircut and style. So the first section is going to be in the nape area and we're going to be taking sections that will be vertical and I'm pretty much going to be cutting the whole back the same length. So my first section is in the center back and I'm going to work my way up from here to the top back of the head after I complete the bottom section. Now that the nape is done, I'm going to connect the occipital area to the top back of the head, cutting vertical sections and as you can see here, we've got the completed back. So now I've got the back complete we're going to work on these sides and I'm going to take vertical sections connecting the sides in through the back now that I've got the sides blended in with the back I'm going to just cut this a little bit shorter. Around the ear, so what I'm going to do now is I'm going to connect the corners in through the side. Now now I'm going to do the same exact thing I did on the other side, starting in the front, cutting vertical sections. Now that I've completed aside the bottom half of the side, I'm going to again do the same thing on the other side and connect the corners here, the bottom, with the corners here now she does where apart usually so, I'm just basically cutting up to where the Part is, and then I'm going to blend everything in on the top layer. Okay, so now I have the sides, the back and the corners pretty much blended, and now I'm going to blend and connect everything throughout the top layer, and I'm simply going to do this. Cutting horizontally, so I'm going to start in the back and I'm going to make sure that this back piece connects with this and I'm going to start that by cutting a vertical section, because if you take a horizontal section and cut it straight up, you might end Up creating a line throughout the back when it falls over, so I like to cut everything vertically when I'm connecting the back and the top okay. So now I have that completed. I can then take everything vertically and cut now, depending on I've. Seen her and different types of looks because I'm a little bit longer so I'm a little shorter, I'm going to basically cut it somewhat in the middle, where it's still consider it short. But it's not too too long and not too too short. All right and now for the fringe area are going to leave this a little bit longer. Parham up the length is pretty good, so all I'm going to do is simply chip into the length a little bit and point cut into it, just to create a little bit of texture throughout the ends, and you can even leave this corner a little bit longer. Here and just kind of connect these two by point cutting into it them is going to soften this up a little by texturizing it and point cutting with my shears snap for styling, I'm going to use Paul Mitchell, which is a styling cream, where my favorite styling Products I'm going to use the ion round brush and the ion Express ion dry blow dryer. Now one blow drawing this style. You can really hand dry it throughout the back or you can use actually a 4:13 sculpting brush just to get a smoother feel throughout the back. I love using a sculpting brush to blow-dry hair, so I'm what I'm going to do is I'm going to use this to blow-dry some of the sides in the back. Then I'm going to use the round brush to get some volume up to the top all right. So I've got the completed haircut, that's inspired by Kris Jenner, and I took the round brush in through here now. You know I know who's going to get some mixed comments. You know that's. Obviously this is on a mannequin, Kris Jenner. This might have been a little bit longer. Forehead might be a little bit different size, so it's gon na it's going to all a very differently. There'S many different variations over hair style, how she's worn it! So what I'm going to do is just come in here and use worked up, which is a very light holding hairspray, which I really love and she's got her hair in multiple different styles as well. So it's really up to you guys how you want to style this, but the haircut pretty much speaks for itself. You know and it's a great fun cute haircut hair. You know good hairstyle, t4 short, sophisticated type, look and it's pretty much it. So. Thank you. So much guys for watching and I'll see you soon for other hair cutting tutorial

DianeCanDoFlamtaps: This how I love my hair cut. Trying to explain what I want and what I get is a different story. Great cut!! Thanks!

Rubeana Davis-Harris: I love your tutorials , really simple to follow, no gimmicks or trick illusions to following your methods, you rock!!! thanks for all the great videos. I enjoy them all!!!

Jacklyn Rodriguez: This has got to be one of my favorite videos. The haircut looks great and I love how we can see every step even when you fast forward it.

Susie McCauley: Love your videos simple and straight to the point..Love this look

Melanie K: I've always loved Kris' cut. I'd really like to see you do an asymmetrical bob (like mine is in my default pic). It doesn't look like that anymore unfortunately, it's all shoulder length, brunette to blonde ombre with pink, haha! That was my favorite hair cut my stylist did on me. It was inspired by Kimberly Caldwell's asymmetrical bob and my stylist did the entire thing with a razor. I'd be interested in watching how she did it in detail! Love your videos!

Richard Simpson: Excellent tutorial fast and to the points. Well done.

57mobird: I love how you cut hair the same way I do! I wear this style, and so often people want to use horizontal cutting techniques on me for this and it drives me crazy! I wish you worked by me :)

ivone rossato: Perfeito amei seus trabalhos.

Maria Werner: Thanks so much...I am going to cut my hair into this style, but now feel very comfortable discussing it with my stylist.Appreciated the styling tips as well.

Jojos Corner: Great cut!! I looove this look:)

Rae Glasgow: This is great.  Will this style work for thin, fine and slightly wavey hair?  I have this cut and it always seems to go flat after two hours or so.  What product can I use to make this last throughout the day?

Sharon La Tour: That's a cute hairstyle and you did a great job!

Kenna: Great cut! Lots of people come in asking for this cut. Thank you!

WATCH ME LIVE: I've never cut hair before and I did this cut on my elderly mum following all your steps and whoaaaaa She looks Smoking Hot Im gonna tag you & @krisjenner in a post with a photo of mums cut Thank you This was such a fantastic tutorial How about doing a tutorial on @mileycyrus latest hairstyle please

TheSalonGuy: Hey there! Well if I am going to connect 2 sections and previously cut one, it's more of a visual thing. I kinda already have a sense of what the lengths should be for both. It usually just ends up matching up and all works out. It's all experience I guess. Also, sometimes I tend to go all over the place when cutting and I even get lost myself lol.

Cris De bravo: Thank you so much. I have no experience and I just made it to my mom. She is so happy and me too. Gracias!

Lydz Mdz: Hello! You did a awesome job with the Haircut.. very good hair tutorial.. I enjoy watching ALL Your Video's and learning from You. Thank You!

Georgia Liu: excellent job! I love it.

Maleine Beltran: Love it! Your amazing!

showylee1980: great stuff! well, i have seen a couple of these videos of yours, could you tell me when you cut short hair, whether it's anne hathway, carey, you cut each the back differently, some take diagonal sections from behind the ear, some take vertigo from center back or like this one from below the occipital, even though they all appear to be short at the end, what is the difference? any why you choose the way you did. thanks!

Marie Davis: That's an impressive easy to manage style...I hope I can get my hairdresser to duplicate it on me... Thanks.

Marisela Concepcion: Beautiful. I was thinking of having a short haircut but wasnt surw which one, until I saw this one. Loooooove it. Thanks

Yvonne Jansky: Hey, I just stumbled on to this video. I have her haircut and I love it! I used to cut hair for Vidal Sassoon back in 1978 and for the longest time I have been cutting my own hair. Vidal always told me that if I can cut my own hair I can cut anyone's hair! Just recently I finally found someone that gets it! Arthur Sebastian here in San Francisco cuts my hair! When I took her pics to him he at first laughed but then he cut it and loved it and so do I. Great video!

Carmen Aponte: I went into the salon with a photo of Kris Jenner's cute haircut front and back, and obviously, the hairdresser didn't know how to cut it like you did. Wish I could come to you to cut my hair properly. I love this haircut!

Barbara Rodriguez: Great haircut! I will be doing this cut on a friend on Monday before x-mas, I'm glad I watched ur video......thanks!

TheSalonGuy: Thx!!! Honestly it depends on my mood and I need to keep it creative for videos. It's really how you get to the end result. It can be done many ways but the same result.

nomebear: Looking after the housebound, elderly, I'll cut their hair in a style that's easy to care for, looks stylish, and this cut checks all of the boxes. Not all have the volume, so other styles can take advantage that feature. The cut can be varied to suit the needs.

Quin_s12: I have clients ask for this all the time such a simple but stylish cut.

luvielyn Leblanc: im watching different  haircut videos, and your tutorial work for me..simply amazing! hope you can share me also about hair coloring i just graduate as hairstylist i don't learn much about hair color procedure..thanks for sharing your knowledge.:)

Erick Ricci: It's a pivot point hair cut , good job dude

Lisa Jo H: I luv this cut...do you think it would still look good without the cutting up around the ears part, and with wavy hair?

E. Weber: Wonderful ;-) thinking about to get a Pixie cut like this too - I have long and thin hair, it need a lot of care - I'm a little bit afraid should I or not ;-) - but it is just hair and it grows.......... kind regards

Genifer Price: When you are cutting the sides, you start at the front and move back towards the back area you've already cut. When taking that first front side section, what are you using as your guide?! How do you know its going to match up with the back section? Im confused!

Mikayla Reynolds: What did you do to become a hair stylist?

Duha: Please do anne hathaway haircut at the oscars 2013

Jordan: I usually really like your tutorials! But this one I just don't get. There is no explanation of why you are doing what, and its really rushed. Maybe because its on a mannequin. To me, it just looks like you are pulling everything out at 90 degrees and trimming it, when thats clearly not the case. :( I'll look for some newer vids from you!

Lucy Gomez: Any suggestions if hair is thick and very puffy don't want it need it to be more smooth

Rick Green: I'm using my husband's email. I keep asking my stylist to do the same but it never comes the same as Kris. I think I may have to change the salon. Mrs. Green
