Hi, ladies welcome back to my channel, i'm dana with wigs by dana. Often i hear when clients first try on a wig is that it's too poofy it's too thick or even worse. It feels just like a helmet. So we want to eliminate that poof today and i'm going to show you a few tricks on just how to do that. So a couple of things you're going to need, pin that up and what i want you to do is go down to the base. But i don't want to go too far in. I want to come up off that cut, pull that out and then you can pull and then you can see. If you want to thin this out, say you want it a little bit more piecey, then i do not want to cut the top section, still pull that hair up grab this hair and just like you're, going to point cut. Take this and maybe point cut a little bit, the thinning shears just keeps it soft, rather than having a hard blunt line. That is the key thing more so than anything with wigs is to keep the cut as soft as possible and do a little at a time. That'S very important. Now i want to show you with the thinning comb: let's pull this top section up, so i really want to make sure i'm not cutting that and if you need to put your finger there that way, you know you are protecting the base hold that tight and Then just work your way down and then look at the amount of hair. That is one time so you can do a lot with either the thinning shears or the thinning comb, and that's only one time now. I did it a few times with the other one. So i'm going to leave that like that, because i want to look at it and see if that's enough not near as bulky all right. Ladies, here's, the results after thinning out the angelique. I did it on one side only as you can see. This is still very thick. This is the way it came right out of the box. This is more like my natural hair. I also did the bangs, so i like how that's a little bit softer, not so heavy and more like my own natural hair would be so. I hope you enjoyed these tips if you like this video, be sure to like it and keep an eye out i'll. Have more on the way, thank you again. You be blessed and stay beautiful.

Teresa Regu: Thanks for sharing this

Dee Gill: Hi ,, I have the wig Stevie by Amore and I bought it because it looked very low density. But when I got the wig lol it has a lot of hair! It almost feels like it makes me look like I have a blockhead! So my question is. Can you thin it out on top where the monofilament is because it seems like that’s where all the volume is coming from. Thanks Dee

Judy Anne: I really like the bangs!!! Airy..... That's how I want all my bangs on my wigs

d g: Q? I cut my synthetic wig with razor comb dry??
