Watch Me Transform A Synthetic Wig!

Hi guys welcome to my youtube channel. It is sati and you know usually i like to get right into the video, but before i actually start there's a few things i need to say so number one. I know i said i was gon na start being more proactive on this channel and i really am, but the last month of my life has been so hectic, so go ahead and expect a little story. Time on, what's been going on with that - and also i am filming this video inside of my bathroom because, like my room, is a mess right now like i'm still getting stuff together, because i'm moving soon so yeah, it's in my bathroom and it's also a thousand Degrees in south carolina, so that is why i literally look like a glazed donut and i was sweating, but all right. Let'S go ahead and jump into the video okay. So we're going to be fixing this synthetic wig up today and trying to make it look somewhat. Decent somewhat human, so i got this from a friend and he only wore it like, i think once and he was like. Oh you can have it. I don't want it. So i was like okay girl challenge. Accept it. We'Re gon na see what i can do to this wig and i think it's really cute. It just needs a little bit of work, so i don't think i have to explain this too much, but all i'm doing is plucking the part. So you just want to make sure you don't pluck too much, because if you over pluck that's super hard to fix, but if you under pluck like you, can always go back and fix that. So just take your time, i don't know if this is going to make any sense, but all i did was pluck under the part, so i just parted some random places where it looked like. It was a lot of hair and i just plugged some of the hair in the front. It'S going to allow the wig to lay down a lot flatter and it's not going to look like you know as bulky it's going to look a lot more natural and not as synthetic because, obviously it's a synthetic wig but we're trying to make it look real. We don't want it to actually look synthetic. I have no idea why, but this is my favorite part, but all i did was put some concealer on the back of my hand and i got a little angled brush and i just i colored in the part i mean i guess you can call it colored In out y'all know what i'm look at the video y'all see what i'm trying to do, y'all see what i'm doing we want to make it look like a scalp, so use your concealer and smudge it around with your fingers. I also meant to mention that usually i'll put it on the bottom of the lace, i'll put the concealer on the bottom of the lace, but because there's like a weird padding right there, i just had to put it on top of the lace - see oh uh. So i was pulling hairs out to do the edges, but you can see in this moment right here when i take my hair down, i'm like hmm, maybe i should do rings so yeah. I ended up doing bangs and just cutting it out a little bit more y'all. This was the most tedious part because it was so hot. The hair was sticking to my forehead and then at the same time it was a synthetic wig. So i was trying not to put too much heat on it and mess up the wig. So the whole purpose of me getting my hot comb out was so it would lay flat like how a bang would when i cut it and y'all the hot comb didn't do a damn thing, but it's all right. I made it work. It helped a little bit, but it just it didn't really. It wasn't giving yeah we'll say that it really wasn't giving. Oh hey guys. It'S me again. I just had to pop in to let you guys know, do not cut your bangs too short. I like to cut my bangs long at first and then cut them shorter as i go, because if you, if you just automatically cut them short and they're way above your eyebrow, there's no way you're going to be able to fix that your bang is ruined the Whole wig is ruined, so that's why you want to keep it long and then cut it little bits as you go. First of all, i know y'all see that little piece of sweat on my upper lip y'all. It was so hot. I was hot and i had that fan on me, but it kept blowing hair everywhere. So i had to turn it off and just die for a minute, but um yeah there's the bangs right there there she is she's super cute or whatever. So i cut some layers on the side. I was trying to be artsy, but it ended up being a disaster, but it ended up turning out right at the same time. So i guess it wasn't so bad, so i had to use my curling irons to lay my bang down because my flat irons well, i'm not going to name any names mom, but i lent them to her and she never put them back. So i have used a curling iron but, like i said, everything is good because it still turned out right. Oh oh uh, so this is pretty much the finished product and i really like it. I like the color. I like the style. I just like this wig in general. I thought it was pretty since the moment that i saw it and i kind of challenged myself to try to fix it up and see what i can do with it, and i think i i think i did a pretty good job.
