Today, I'm going to be talking all about the taimo air hype, hair dryer, and I'm going to share with you how I use it. What are the pros and cons and whether or not I recommend this hair dryer Timo sent me this for your review. This is also a sponsored video, so I want you to know that up front. However, I tried the product before I agreed and I love it so much that I was happy to work with them and share this hair dryer with you. So this is the package that it comes in nice, big box, you slide this open and then underneath we have the actual box. When you open it, they sent a hair drying towel and then this is the actual package. I took the hair dryer out of here. So I'm going to drop it, but do you have the diffuser you have this combing brush and then the nozzle for straightening, your hair? So here is the dryer, so you can see the size, it's really small, very light weights. I love this nice thick cable and we, it has a screen on the back here, so you can see uh what settings you have on which I really like at night. It lights up the room, though so I have to kind of turn it to hide it. It'S got three Heats sorry, it's got three speed settings and four heat settings. So let me turn it on. So you can hear my hair is low, speed, I'll show you medium say: hi hi, it's like really strong, but it works really well for the size. Really. I'M really impressed by the quality. I love that it's not one of those really annoying high-pitched, diffusers or hair dryers. It'S a lower sound that I can tolerate, doesn't get really loud and then the heat settings are my favorite because it starts at 80 degrees and then it goes up through. You can see. 140. Okay, it's almost like room temperature and they also have a switch here. So this is off on and all the way up is room temperature. So it's just blowing even colder, and so I love that setting, because I have yet to use a hair dryer that has a cool shot button that I don't have to hold down the entire time. So I find that to be a really really easy way to use it now, the diffuser, let me show you that it's really cool the way that it attaches. It'S like magnetic just pops right on, so it's not going to fall off while you're using it. It'S really small, but it does dip in a little bit. So it's not a flat diffuser, and it's got these prongs inside with this little slider. So you can stick them out farther if you need to so I like to use that for the root area to get a little bit more lift in here. If you have shorter hair, you may or may not need to use it, but I really like that feature. I use it on the shark hair dryer as well. The only thing I don't like about this hair dryer is or this diffuser is the size. I think it's a little too small for my really long hair and I wish the wool was a little bit deeper, but I can get it to work. So it's fine. The fact that it's so small overall is just really great for storing and especially taking it somewhere if you're traveling, it's much easier to travel with than other hair dryers that usually and diffusers would tend to be a lot bigger. So you also have the cone attachment for straightening your hair and The Styling nozzle for the directing the airflow. So The Styling nozzle is great to use with a hairbrush, which is how I like to straighten my hair, if you're using like a round brush. But you can use this one to just straighten with straighten directly without a brush just kind of brush through with this. So I'm going to show you how I straighten my hair, I'm using the highest speed, setting the highest fan, setting and 210 degrees, which is like the medium temperature and so on this side. I'M going to use the nozzle the air Direction nozzle and, on the other side, I'm going to use the brush nozzle. So this one I'm using with a round white Bissell brush here you can see the other side with the brush nozzle, and so both of them worked really well. They dried my hair very quickly. I think, because of the speed of the air, how much it blows out the temperature was nice, it wasn't as hot as the typical hair dryers, which I really like and, as I said, my hair still dried, very quickly very minimal frizz. This brush nozzle was a little tricky for me to figure out, but in the end they both worked out very well for me, so you can see the results there. I want to show you my hair styling, my curly styling routine, and the process when I diffuse with this blow dryer, so you can see exactly how to use it. So the first step is, I always Prime, my hair with a little bit of leave-in conditioner or some sort of styling product, and then I brush it through to make sure that it's evenly distributed. And then I micro plop to remove excess water. And this really helps me get a little bit more volume in my hair, sectioning sectioning it into three different sections. Just for ease of styling product distribution just makes things like a little bit simpler and then I first apply a volumizing mousse, since my hair is thin low density. I always want to see how I can maximize volume. So volumizing products are always a go-to and then I'm creating clumps with a brush. That gives me a lot of tension and then I'm splitting those clumps up with a comb and then I always apply a good amount of gel for hold and definition and so that my style lasts longer as soon as I'm done. Scrunching it all in. I move into diffusing I'm going to use the lowest fan, speed and 180 degrees, which is the low to medium heat setting, and I always start off by hover diffusing the root area. So you can see that's what I'm doing there and when I get to the top part, I put the prongs out so they're a little bit longer so that I can get some lifts from pushing the diffuser up against my scalp and pushing it up. Getting some lift in there and the key here is to lock in some volume and get the cast to start forming, so there's less frizz. So a lot of hover diffusing in the beginning. Before I move into pixie diffusing, I flip to each side and then I flip forward and do the back now. Here'S where I start pixie diffusing after a few minutes. So in small sections I get the ends of the curls into the diffuser bowl and push up. So that they coil in and then I turn the diffuser on and hold it up there for 10 to 30 seconds and then turn the diffuser off and I move on to another section. So I just repeat this all over and I find that pixie diffusing gives me the most volume, the least frizz, and it makes my curls a little springier. So that's why I prefer to use it hover diffusing before just really helps to prevent frizz. So I like the combination of hover, diffusing first. For that reason, so I just worked my way around all over in total. This took me five minutes for the entire diffusing routine. Typically, it's a little longer than that. So here it's already almost dry. So I'm just finishing up a little more pixie diffusing, I'm always moving my hair. I just want to make sure that I'm getting the most volume possible and then at the end now I'm going to switch to the room temperature Cold, Shot setting and I'm basically going to set my style with this. Setting because there's no heat and I'm just going to aim it at the root area, make sure that I'm locking that lift in slipping it around and just cooling down the hair to really set the style so that it lasts longer than if I didn't do. The cool shot at the very end, so this is just after I finish so I'm setting my hair flipping it around making sure that I can get the part, and you can see there's a lot of volume right now, but it will come down here. Are my results you can see it is defined completely dry. I'Ve got lots of volume, so I'm really happy with the results that I get with this diffuser, especially considering the bowl is smaller than I typically like. I think I could get more shrinkage with a bigger bowl like in other diffusers, but this is good enough. You can see up close how these are pretty typical results from diffusing and really the main thing is how much more quickly this works than other hair dryers. So I really noticed a difference in how fast my hair dries with this hair dryer. I'Ve used it on my daughter as well, and we see similar results, so it does work better and I love that it doesn't get as hot as other dryers. So, like I showed you with the different temperatures, I use the medium settings, so the first one is like 80. Let me see yeah and then the second one's 140. That'S the one that I use. I find that 180 and 210 are just too hot for me to use. I don't need that kind of heat. Maybe if I was straightening my hair, but for curly diffusing results, the low to medium are fine. I use the lower 80 degree setting when my hair is pretty much almost dry and I'm just like finishing it up and I don't you know, I want to make sure that I'm not using too much heat and then I just use the low fan speed because I find that it's so strong in blowing air that I don't need anymore. I couldn't use the medium to speed things up even more, but I just worry about frizz, so I just use the low setting the whole time and I can I've actually used the medium setting for the root area and that's fine, because this is really blow anything Around and it does get it dry a little faster, so I haven't used the high speed, but I think if I was straightening my hair, I would and it would be totally fine. According to the brand, they have a stable low temperature and higher wind speed, which helps to increase drying time by 50 percent or decrease drying time by 50. It saves you a lot of time compared to other hair dryers, and it also has built-in ionic technologies that reduce frizz to keep your hair feeling silky all day long. So super impressed with quality and the function of the dryer really have zero complaints other than just like. If I'm nitpicking, I wish the bowl was just a little bit bigger so that my really long hair could fit in here. But the size is actually a pro, because it's small enough that I can take it when I'm traveling, and so you can see I've got like these bouncy curls all over. It doesn't smell like that heat damaged hair, sometimes that you get from the hair dryers that are just really hot. So I love that I can keep my hair healthy as I diffuse, because I don't like to air dry. It takes too long and my hair just doesn't look as great or lasts as long. The volume that I get with diffusing is amazing. I just wish it didn't, have the heat, and so with this you don't need a heat protectant if you're using the low heat setting - and I absolutely love that, if you are looking for a smaller lightweight hair dryer, that uses really low heat to no heat. I love the room temperature setting and that it's a switch that stays on you don't have to hold it. I haven't seen that in a dryer yet or yeah, and you want to dry your hair faster, something that's not going to cause heat damage safer. It sounds quieter than other hair dryers and I highly recommend this one. It works similar to they say the dice and I haven't tried the Dyson, but it's very similar to my Shark hair dryer and it costs less than that one and especially a lot less than the Dyson. So, if that's something that you're looking for - and you don't want to Shell out all the money for that, then this is a really great substitute. Let me know if you have any questions about it if you've, given it a try, share your experience in the comments, and I will see you in the next video thanks for watching good
