Hi everybody shannon mcglathri here, owner of divine images by shannon salon and creator of di beauty, solutions, hair care products. Today i am doing miss rocky's hair. The top is in transition from a relaxer. As you can see, she has some new growth and straight ends and the sides in the back have been relaxed. I used a low-ly relaxer just to um, take most of the curl pattern out to make it more manageable. I'M going to use triple threat, moisture therapy, leave-in conditioner as a base, leave-in conditioner, it is going to provide a lot of moisture, is going to strengthen the hair, provide manageability and detangle, add lots of body and restore luster. Now i am going to go in and cut the sides in the back down. I'M going to start in the center back use that as my guide and i'm going to cut at a 45 degree angle and i'm just gon na work. My way to the right, and then i'm gon na go back and work my way to the left. You better wake up. Now that that's complete, i'm going to use shine and shield serum, which also provides manageability. It serves as a heat protectant is going to strengthen the hair, add softness and shine. It is moisture infused and i'm going to apply it to the top. I'Ve already used the triple threat and then next was the serum and now i'm just detangling it with the diy beauty, solutions, multi brush and now i am going to go in and blow dry, the top out. Now that that's complete, i'm going to use high definition. Styling foam to apply it to the sides and the back to mold it down. The styling foam has a flexible hold so that it won't be really hard, but it still gives you the hole that you need for your short molding, and it also adds shine and volume to the hair. Now that she's dry i'm going to go back in and trim the top, the top is longer. She has a disconnected cut here and the top is longer. So that's why the sides in the back were cut first and now that the top is dry and the whole style is completely dry. I'M just going to go in and trim the top up really good. Now that that's complete, i'm going to use light butter, hair and skin balm, but i'm only going to use it on the sides and the back, because it's a little bit heavier and i'm going to go in with the shine and shield serum again at the top. The light butter, hair and skin balm as moisture softness, shine and a gentle hold to the hair, and it also provides manageability now, i'm just going to go in and curl the sides in the back with this quarter of an inch flat ironing before i leave the House you better now the sides and the back are complete. I am going to go in with my di beauty solutions ultimate hair straightener to curl the top. The straightener has ceramic plates that are infused with tourmaline crystals to help avoid heat and hair damage. It helps neutralize ions that cause static and frizz, provides moisture to the hair and enhances the shine. The ceramic plates is what allows for even heat distribution, which also helps to reduce heat and hair damage, and it seals in moisture and adds shine to the head. Now that she's done being styled, i'm just going to go ahead and just comb it out and finish out the style see how good it looks is full of shine. The top is full of body and volume, and it's not way down. It looks really really nice and healthy, and here is the finished, look be sure that you're following me on all social media and i'm shannon mcgladrey at divine images by shannon like and subscribe to my youtube channel, shannon mcgladrey and shop divine images, divine images by shannon.com.
