So if you're watching me for the first time, you're like what in the world did that lady just put on her head wig stoppers, stop your wigs from shifting moving falling back all that other stuff right. So they are essential. If you have a small head, i would say you probably need the larger ones, because that's going to take up a lot more room on the inside okay. So this is the lolo wig and i'm going to show you the inside. It'S a full cap. Full caps mean basically, everything is made out of a cap, but you do have a mini lace front in the front of the wig and then what you see there that little part. Yes, that is just what it is. It'S a part, but it's called a lace part. It'S called a mini lace, uh, a mini lace part. So it's only this much because that's all you need for it to look real all right. The next step that i'm going to do people ask hey. Do i need a wig cap every time i wear a wig really. That is it's kind of up to you. I don't say it's a mandatory thing. It'S not some people. You know, i always tell them. If your head is sensitive, go ahead and put a cap on um, i'm mindful of my hair drying out, so i like my caps so once i use my unlock put, my leave-in conditioner use a little oil. I put my cap on and then my wig stopper. All right, let me show you what this looks like for those that are watching me again for the very first time. Let me show you going to put your finger underneath the wig you're going to slide down this way behind your ear. Tab you're going to slide down this way, find your ear tab and then you're just going to adjust the wig to where it belongs, because your ear tabs are going to say hey. I belong here on the right. I belong here on the left once you situate, that the wig should feel very, very comfortable all right. The next thing, you're going to see me do, is i'm going to take the la host wide tooth comb we're going to spray a little solution on there. You'Re saying what is that solution? How do i get it? So what i'm going to do is kind of comb it all down to kind of see how the wig is shaped and how to find myself on the wii in a wig. So you're always going to hear me say that the very first thing you need to do is find yourself in the wig all right. So here's the featured wig it is lolo. The color that i have on this is a natural black okay. So it's really just a short classic vibe that you can't go wrong in. I would suggest putting this one side behind your ear, because it even gives it more of a realistic look. So if you're looking for something that's super light super easy. This wig will not disappoint you at all. All right, let me show you the side, here's the back! She cute and here's the side all right, so this is miss lolo in black again, i'm just taking my hands through it. The reason why i'm doing that is just to kind of give it that layers, usually when you put your fingers through and then you just use your hand, just like your fingers and you pull down. You see that little natural that natural layer, okay, really easy to take care of really really easy all right now, let me show you the same wig miss lolo in a number four, so this one is single color basic, no highlights no um, no blondes or anything Like that, it's just a straight four. So if you're saying well, i really do like my browns. I, like my medium chestnut brown. I would always suggest lightening it up. So if you're, a person who always and only wear blacks or one bees, you're gon na, have to switch it up. Sis and you're gon na have to try uh lightening up your wigs because it softens your face, and especially us women of color, the older. We get, i always suggest, lighten your wigs up now, i'm going to say this now that i'm looking in the monitor. Okay, look at that i'm going to do something a little bit different than i did the other wig this one, i'm just going to kind of push down all the way, so you can see that length there! Okay, you can see that so all right! Ladies now, here is the number four. This one is number four now i'm looking in the monitor, okay and it's looking a lot darker than what it is in person. So trust me, it's not matter of fact. I'M gon na put this one up close to me and it almost looks like they are the same color but the one that is on my head. It is truly a number four, so it what is number four. So if you're watching me - and you don't know what the numbers are number one is jet black one b is your universal off black, which is like just like this says. All black number two is like kind of a dark brown very dark brown. Then it goes straight to number four, which is your medium chestnut brown and that's what i have on now. So if you love box, i'm telling you you need something quick easy to maintain and what i'm gon na shift this over shifting it over means. Basically, it doesn't have to always sit in one spot, especially if you're like me, you, like that deep side. This would be a great, convenient, easy wig to take care of always tell people if you're, just starting out with wigs and trying on wigs always start with a straight wig. The protecting shine is going to allow your fingers just to kind of glide through and it's going to slow down frizzing. So i say please use the protecting shine on your synthetic wigs you're, going to it's a game. Changer trust me. So the very first thing once it's on right. Of course you got to make sure that it's lined up with everything. That'S the ear tab on the right and on the left. You then shimmy your way in there you fold it in and then listen now. This is the other key to wearing pixie short wigs. This wig is synthetic you're going to use a soft brush. This side is soft. This side is hard, so i'm going to use the soft side and you're just basically going to brush down okay around your ear, and that is a. There is a reason why i have you doing that, because the flatter a wig is on the side and in this area the more natural is going to look for you now. A mandatory must must, is the lahos pixie uh pixie comb, but it's not a pixie comb. The hose wide tooth comb now for this pixie, i always tell people make sure you have the protect and shine. The protective shine is going to make those layers pop and it's going to bring the colors to life. So now, listen. I'Ve already told you in other videos. This protective shine is a must go to. This is a must-have when you wear synthetic wigs, because it is silicone silicone based for synthetic wigs, which is fiber, so it allows that comb to kind of glide and it also pops out all of your layers. So if i was to really say who this wig is great for someone who do not like a lot of hair, the wig is very light. It almost feels like i have nothing on, but yet it feels secure all right, we're going to go to the side. So you can see all those colors popping out i'ma turn to the back. I'M just going to use my fingers to kind of bring some variation to the back as well. There you go for the other side and i'm going to take some down and bring some to the front to show you exactly how you can play with this. Give me two seconds all right. So, as you see, we just kind of what you got to do is the main thing is: once you put your beauty solution on there. Do you have to use beauty solution? Every time i say to make the wig kind of pop and look fresh yeah use your beauty solution, and this wig is a spiky wig, and that's why i love this wig so have fun with it. Do not limit yourself at all. Please have fun with the wig. The spikes go all kind of different directions. So if you like the mohawk look, that's what i did just take your hands and go up, but then yet you have these cute little curly cues! If you say hey, i'm not into that whole mohawk thing, calm her down, we're not doing all that. That'S too much calm, her down. Okay, you want to calm down, take your comb and brush it all down. Like this pick a side, i always say pick a side where it complements you and listen. Let me show you another trick of the trade if, by chance, some people hate bangs. If you hate bangs, this would be a great wig for you. If you love bangs, why? Because you can take it all the way off your face, but if you love bangs watch this you take it and you bring it just a little lower, and now you got another look, so you can pull a lot of different. Looks out of this now i want to show you a 1b 30. all right. This is rory in a 1b uh, 1b. 30.. So this is 1b30. I like her, but do you see how, when it's one solid color, it's a little bit different? So it's not exactly like the other wig i took off because those variations in color is going to give you variation in your layer, so you're going to be able to see it a little bit more, but i'm still going to pop it with the protecting shine. Okay, just especially black hair. Why? Because you want it to pop, you want it to look shiny and healthy, so i'm going to pull forward to see and matter of fact, could you see the cup? Yes, you can see the color. You can see the 30 popping through so if you're, a 1b30 girl you're going to love this, because it's not just one solid color, which is off black, that's the back. This is the side and if you like the spiky look you see if those spikes just kind of fall up, that's cute, so don't get scared, just put the wig on and have fun comb some one way and that's how you get those spikes. Okay. Now again, like i showed you with the other wig get your comb brush it down or your brush. I said a comb get your brush comb it down because the flatter it is on the side, the more natural it's going to look now. Another secret is take your hands like this and you're going to shape it, and now it's going to shape to your head size into your shape. Now i'm just going to pull this over. Look at those cute little spikeys just pop out of nowhere guess we got a mind of its own. I'M have johnson of the host here in wigs and the featured wig today. Her name is called vernita, so let's check out miss vernita. Let'S see what she looks like all right. No, it is not witchcraft. I just have a great editor, so this wig is copper color. So do you see the fullness? It'S not silky. Remember i in your up in some of my other wigs, it has more of a smooth silky finish a lot of ladies say hey, i like my straight wigs, but i do not want baby doll hair. That'S one of the first things they say. I don't want baby doll hair and i do not want silky straight. This is another option, so, let's get her all together. The first thing i'm going to do is put in that protecting shine all right, we're going to spray it just a little bit of go a long way, and then also, if you have your own hair and you want to flat iron, your hair use the protective Shine it's going to seal that cuticle down and for synthetic wigs. It keeps it where you can get the comb through. You can get your fingers through without tangling and knotting. So that's going to keep your tangling at a bare minimum. So the very first thing i'm going to do is take the comb back like this. I'M going just you know, have everything i'm gon na see how the wig is made, how it's kind of style. So when you do this, when you kind of put everything the way it belongs, so that's how it goes. Why am i taking my time to do this? Because when you do that, it's going to look more orderly, it's going to look more natural. It'S going to look beautiful and you don't have hair or you don't have fibers all over the place. Next thing i'm going to do is take our solution a little bit of go a long way, so you do not need a whole whole lot. Next thing i'm going to do is take my fingers, take it through on the top and i'm doing that on purpose and i'm flattening it down. So in case you don't like poofy hair. Some women look amazing and full puffy hair. I mean they just do they. They can carry it, their personality can carry it, but if you say hey, i like a little bit more subtle. I need her to come on down. Come on, come on, come on, come on down girl. This is how you calm her down. You take your fingers and you flatten her out just like that. You bring this around like this and you bring that back while you're bringing it back cause. You know that's gon na look natural, but if you like me - and you got big ears - i don't know what my mama and daddy was doing to create these big ears, but whatever it is, don't do that to your kids? Yes, i have big ears. That is one of my things. I have big ears, a lot of people don't know because i wear a lot of hair. So you don't see my big ears, but i have big ears, okay, but i hide them by just taking some of the hair back and bringing some of the hair up. Look how cute! That is how natural again, if it's too fluffy! Oh, let me say this: you can curl this wig with some cool flat irons, not cool cool, like cool cold, but cooler than lukewarm. It got to be kind of cool start it slow and then ease it up. And then you can put some heat rollers on here and you can get a whole nother style out of this wig. This is the other thing, as the wig gets older experiment with it. Okay, so i'm saying take your temperature slow, um high. You know as you're. Gradually taking them up the reason why i'm saying that is because i don't want you to put that flat iron in there and then you burn up all the fibers and you'll be like mad at me, and you be calling me and i'm like. Oh, no, that's not my fault. I told you. The wig was fiber, it's plastic. Why would you put hot? Let'S not even have that conversation. So all you got to do is start cool and then gradually take it up. But as you do it, it's going to get flatter and straighter and smoother. So just letting you know. So if it is too coarse, you want to smooth it out. It is heat friendly. This is the back, so you see it doesn't have a lot of length. It doesn't even really hit your shoulders at all all right now, let me show you, this is the copper. Let me show you what it looks like in a number two all right now, this one is an off black. Well, it's really like a number two okay. It may come up at the website as a natural, but it's a number two, which means it's a little smidget lighter than the 1b, and you see the um, the the variation that it looks different from the copper, okay and it does come in jet black and It does come in off black, so this is how this one looks: you're going to use your comb, take it back and the reason why i love wide tooth combs, especially on fiber okay, because it does not tangle it when it's smaller combs, like this you're gon Na get more frizz you're gon na get more tangles, so try not to use small tooth combs. You want a wide tooth comb, but do you see how natural that look now i'm going to take this white two comb and i'm just going to kind of bend it over that way? You can have that nice polished finish on that side. I'M going to do the same thing over here, but listen uh, this your party. You shows up how you want to if you want those curls kind of all over the place and kind of this way that way. You'Re fine, who you got to add, don't ask nobody how you should wear your wig, i say get in there play with it find out where the ear tabs is adjust. It listen i like a deep part, so i'm always taking my wigs to the limit. I take them all the way to the side, because i, like that swoop, i, like one eye, covered more than the other, because to me it kind of pops. The style makes it look more natural who's, not gon na love, a great wig in a great natural. Looking wig, this gives you all of that natural, looking wig all right, so there you have it again. You take it or let me let me tell you how to find your middle. You take your middle finger or you take your finger. You go in the middle of your nose, okay, you go sideways and this is how you find your middle part through your nose. You didn't know that now you know all right, but if you're like me and i'm not a middle part person, you're gon na put your hands on those ear tabs, i'm just taking my finger going straight across, which is good because you want to make sure all The hair is coming out of the wig. You don't want any hair to get caught up in the wig. Once you find your ear tabs on your left and on your right, then you pull securely down now. I'M going to take this one a little bit more to the right and the reason why i'm doing that is so. I can get my part a little bit more off center, so absolutely adorable all right. Let'S check her out in another color all right now. This one is a number four and 30 and if i turn to the side, actually i'm gon na turn. This way you can see those little highlights. So here's a highlight here right, that's a highlight. So this is number 430 meaning it is more of a chestnut brown. So it's not a dark. It'S not a dark brown. This is really a light brown. The cameras are not doing it justice, but it really is a lighter brown. All right, let me show you the back, as you see it, just kind of dust, your shoulders - and this is over to your other side. I'M gon na take one side behind my ear, absolutely cute, okay, so this is a 4 30. So you only you, don't need a whole lot of hair, but again just a little bit of hair and look when you blend that down now it flawlessly blends in with your hair. Just like that, all right, so this is miss cynthia, i'm going to show you the reason why i like her is because, if you don't like a lot of hair okay, but you love fullness you're, going to love this wig and i like it because she's not On my neck, so you don't get all that heat. You don't get overwhelmed by a whole lot of curls easy to take care of that's the back side and front, and i did nothing i promise y'all. I haven't even sprayed it yet because i said well, you know, let me go on and let me show them how to actually spray now. Listen. The curlier a wig is the less. You want to fool with it, because the more you handle a curly wig, the frizzier, it's going to become. So, if you like, the curls, keep your hands out. The curls girls do not touch all the curls. You got to make sure that you put the style where you like it, okay, so if i want to wear it like that and then leave it alone, this is a 1v30 okay. You can see some of those highlights in the front right there. This is the other side. This is the back absolutely adorable. This again is the 1v30. I don't want to do a lot of pulling on it, but when you get it - and let me say this, the longer you wear it and it gets frizzy and it gets fuzzy, don't fear, protect and shine is here no, but what you do is you put A little bit more protective shine in it, and then you move it around because that silicone is going to help you to move around. Keep the wood, keep the wig cool and not move it around. So really a lot of this. The beauty solution keeps the wig cool, so when you're in that process of styling it doesn't frizz up as fast okay. So now, let's see what it looks like in another color: let's try: 4 30., oh my god. Okay! So i know it looks different, but it's hard for you to tell so let me do this. Let me grab this one. Let'S put us side by side hold on, let me straighten her up, so she don't look like she just robbed the bank and then ran on here for me to keep her uh from the police. All right, you can tell now a little bit better. This one is darker, this one here is darker and this one is a little lighter. I call it it's almost like black relaxed hair, so it's not bone straight. It has a texture to it and the color this color that i have on is tt2 one two, three four tt2 12 34. All right and you can get this online and let me show you the back now this one you can really have fun with, because the color first of all, is it it's extraordinary. The first thing i'm going to do is use some of this protectant shine and it is heat friendly. So if you wanted to actually put some curls or some rollers in here, you absolutely could, even if you wanted to flat on it say, for instance, if it's a little bit just a little bit too bushy. What i'm doing now is i'm taking some of the hair back and it's how you do it. You take your fingers, you go through it and then, where that dip is you put one hand going this way and one hand going that way and that's how you get that kind of swoop kind of look, and you can do the same thing over here? I don't want to do a lot of pulling on this wig, but let me show it to you in another color, okay. I like this color because it reminds me of them almost like a strawberry blonde. It'S almost like a ginger or a copper um. It gives me that jessica roberts feel jessica, it's not jessica. Roberts, no jessica rabbit is who i'm thinking jessica rabbit. I heard somebody on set say: julia roberts, no jessica, rabbit hilarious. I love this. This is a great color. Let me tell you what also i love. I love the dimensions of various reds. Okay again, this color is more like a copper. This is like a 2733 and anybody in the wig world extension where you know 33 gives you more. The copper, strawberry ginger, it's more like a red okay, but i love how at the bottom you have that beautiful beautiful number four, and you really can see that number four pop out with these other colors. Let'S check out another color, all right love this color too. Just got to play with it, so let's bring it all to the front, let's kind of find ourselves in a wig. Now, if i just went out like this, i'm kind of feeling this this is cute. If you like blondes, this is not going to disappoint. You look at those highlights and how they variations come out of the out of your forehead right so cute. Let'S use some beauty solutions, i'm going to be a little generous because this hair does have curls in it and because it does have more fullness. So whenever you have fullness - and you want to calm it down, come on beyonce girl, you is giving them beyonce all day long.
