How To: Make Synthetic Wigs Look Natural | Cosplay

Hi guys welcome back to my channel I've taken a good few clips of what it is. I want to show you today, so I know put all these clips together and hopefully it makes a video. I got this really cheap synthetic wig from wish calm, which I mentioned in a haul in my previous video, and what I want to do with it. It'S on to fix it because, as you can see, it's really shiny and it's really curly and I want to make it straight. So I can use a freight diva cosplay. What I'd recommend using is a fabric softener that you put into your wash, because I feel like this softens the synthetic fibers used in the wig. I'M also going to use some baby shampoo or a baby shower gel, and if it's soft on baby's skin is going to be extremely delicate on the synthetic fibers used in this week, I'm going to put in a clip here of me showing the way and wearing The wig and then I'm gon na put in another clip of me going to the bath and using lukewarm water kind of hot water, not too hot and then going to seep it in the baby gel and inside the fabric softener, once I wash it around, then Is fabric softener for a while, I'm going to take it out, I'm going to rinse it with cold water and then I'm going to put it into a towel and I'm gon na, let it dry for a while once it has dried, a certain amount. What I'm going to do is then comb it out really slowly with a hairbrush. What I'm going to do now is I'm going to get my wig, I'm showing you the back of the weight right now and no one I'm going to do is use an elastic hair band and I'm going to tie it around the two door handles on my Wardrobe I'm doing this because they don't have a wig head, and I think that this is a really good way to keep it secure and comb through it. This process may take a while, and you have to make sure that you don't leave the hair straightener on the fibers for too long as they might even melt together, because they're made out of plastic whilst wearing this wig. I'M also going to add some batiste dry hair shampoo and if that doesn't work, I'm going to use some clear translucent face powder and what that does it's gon na get rid of the shine as well. I'M gon na brush that through and visit up, and hopefully when it comes through it'll, be even less shinier again. What I did when I straightened the hair is that the hair in the bottom on the end stem to look at trizzie, so I actually got some hair oil that I use in my own hair everyday, and I put that through the ends of the hair. This again makes it much more sleek, but not shiny.
