Hey guys today, I am sharing with you my eight month mark of growing up my pixie cut yay. I finally made it. This is literally the moment. I'Ve been waiting for this entire time, so it feels good to be here um. So, let's just talk about a few things. First of all, I feel like I am officially out of the pixie territory and into the bob phase, which is exactly what I was hoping would happen by the time I hit the 8 month mark. So luckily that worked out so from this point on, I feel like my hair - is long enough and every the sides have kind of caught up to the bottom for the most part. So I feel like I can just let my hair grow without having to trim it so often because you know you always have to trim up the mullet part. I think that's not really going to be an issue with it's crazy to think that I've been growing. My hair for eight months, because when I think about I started growing my hair last July, that seems like such a long time ago and we're already about to be in summer again. So that's just crazy to me, but at the same time it flew by so fast and the growing out process was not that awful. It was at times. I would say there were two times that I had the most trouble like. I was just more frustrated and those times were at around the four month mark. I feel like at 3 months, it's kind of exciting, because you know you feel like okay, my hair is actually getting longer. I can tell a difference. This is good, and then it gets just a little further down the line and it starts to get even longer it's starting to come over the ears. You don't really know what to do with it and I feel like that is the moment that most people will go and top it back off. I know for me: that's what happened right around that time, so I would say if you can push past that point. You'Re good to go for a while and then the second time that I was having a bit of trouble. A lot of trouble actually was around the six and a half month mark I made my six-month grow out video and had mentioned in that video that I was getting kind of frustrated with my hair. Well, that only got worse. I'M just being honest with you guys. I don't want to discourage you, but I'm gon na be honest. So about six and a half months along, I was just feeling very frustrated with my hair. It was getting longer. It was to the point I wasn't really enjoying my hair at all anymore, like I wasn't really liking the way it looked whatsoever and it just wasn't fun. So I called my hairdresser to make a hair appointment with every single intention of topping it off every single intention, but they couldn't get me in for a week and a half. So I had a whole week and a half to think about it, and I ended up just going in and getting a trend. That was the best thing ever because going into that hair appointment. I just wasn't feeling good about my hair, but when I came out it was like a whole new me. I had a really short bob. I started wearing my hair down in my videos. You guys probably noticed that, and you know it just looked like a hairstyle again. So when you get to that point, if you're feeling like that, don't top it off just get it trimmed, I promise it truly made a world of a difference. I didn't expect it to be as great as it was when I walked out of the hair salon that day, but that was really good. So I want my haircut on February 14th. That was the last time. I'Ve had it trimmed up to this point and it has grown a little bit since then. I could tell and I'm very happy with this length of hair. I think it looks really cute, like I said at this point I feel like I can just let it grow and it would be just fine. So what I'm gon na do now is do the whole 360 thing so I'll. Let you see all sides of my hair: here's the left side, here's the back and here's the right side, okay, so that is all sides of my hair. That'S what I'm working with right now, um! I am so excited that I did this. I actually grew out. My pixie cut that has been something that as much as I love my pixie cut. I wanted to grow it out a few times and just never been able to do it. I know lots of women say that and it's definitely a struggle. If you have a pixie cut, you know I'm talking about um but yeah, I'm just so excited that I did it and honestly it sounds silly, but I feel so accomplished that I did it so that is it for my eighth month. Pixie update. I don't think I really have anything else to say about these last couple of months. I think I covered pretty much everything that I wanted to um. I will say, though this is gon na, be my last pixie grow-out video, I'm going to the hair salon in two days and I'm topping it all back off. I don't know what's wrong with me: I spent eight months growing out my hair and then once I do it the exact moment that my hair, I chop it back off, but whatever it is, what it is. I want to have my pixie cut again. So that's what I'm gon na do, but that being said, I'm still so so excited that I did this and then I grew my hair out and you know. Finally, let myself know that, yes, you can do this. You can grow your hair out, you're, not stuck with a pixie cut forever. If you don't want it. So maybe I just had to prove that to myself I don't know, but I'm going in a couple of days to get my hair cut, I'm very excited about it and I might film a video about that. I don't know yet, but that's what's happening. So, thank you guys for all of your support. As I was growing out, my hair, you all just had such nice comments throughout the whole thing, and that is the you know. It means more than you know in every single video, but you know when you're growing your hair out it's nice to hear those nice words and that you guys think I still look decent even when I feel like. I look crazy with my hair growing out. So you know, if any of you guys need a little boost as you're growing your hair out. I would be glad to give you that, so, if you're growing your hair out and you're frustrated - and you just don't know if you can do a tack on us - you can it's not that bad and it's so so worth it when you cross that finish line, I know that I had intended to let my hair keep on growing from this point, but I just feel great that I let my hair grow out and I finally did it so I just wanted to thank you for being so kind to me all the time. I will see you in my next video bye, guys

Beth: I'm attempting growing out my pixie for the second time, this time around. This time I'm sticking with it. It's so tempting to cut it again, lol. I love pixies but I start missing my longer hair. I've had many pixie cuts over the years and growing it out is challenging, but worth it!

Shaannon James: I've been growing my hair from a very short pixie for 9 months. Its only just reached chin length. My little bob is great!!! X I do one diy hair mask a month and take hair vitiamn (been taking vitimans for 2years never the same one) x

Tracy Chester: Wow, your hair after 8 months of growing out the pixie is beautiful. Looks though as if u had  it trimmed a lil on the bottom along the way so as to have your sides and the bottom all one length. I had my first pixie about 2 mo. ago n had the bottom trimmed after 3 wks of me getting the pixie but now am gonna grow it out. I  want it only touching my collar bone. I trimmed my bangs yesterday for the first time just to my lashes. I had the side swept ones but ugghhh, irritating.lol. U rock this look btw !!<3

Sandra Cumbo: Please vlog the new haircut!! I'm at month 9 of growing mine out and won't be cutting it anytime soon! I made a New Years Resolution to grow my hair all year, I had it cut into the start of an asymmetric bob in December, then had it trimmed in February, and have another appt for a trim in April. (I use heat styling a lot so I get split ends). But after the sides completely catch up with the sides, I plan on waiting 12 weeks between trims instead of 8. I can't wait to see the new cut!!

Hailey: This is where I am, and on my 7th month!! Very short when I started

Mary Kathleen: I get to the 8th month mark and chop it all off again, lol. Last year I shaved my head and I now feel like I'll let my hair grow out way past the 8th month mark....who knows. All the stages of growth are fun, imo, and you can color your hair more often with little to no damage (unlike longer hair). Your hair now looks so cute, but I think the pixie really suits you :)

Waiting2soar13: U look great amanda! For me will b a year in may. But. 2 months ago i chopped alot of bottom to even it out and get rid of bangs so im playing catchup its so annoying! I am going to dye my hair today i am hoping helps my self esteem .. Would u ever do a pixie again?

Chris Voshell: Please films you are getting your new pixie cut!Love your videos!

sammi: Your hair looks cute now but u do rock a pixie! And for u to be going back to the hairstyle you spent 8 months growing out i think you know this too :)

Angela Huffer: Would you style this "bob" the same way you did you " sleek pixie" tutorial? Love this cut and color!

Kit Kat Eevie: The ironic thing is my hair is longer than shown in this video and I haven't cut it in 6 months (I keep it trimmed)

Lemonlime: Girl, we all need to brainstorm and come up with ideas to put your name out there and get you more subbies ASAP! You are one of the best on here and others need to know you too!

Kathleen Kruse: I KNOW what you are talking about. I do this for 5 years now, let it grow, cut it off, let it crow, cut it...Pixies are great and you look great, no matter what style! Love from Germany!

Nik W: I'm trying to grow my hair out, it's slowly going past my ears, only a lil bit lol, so alow. i love your hair it's really cute :)

Waiting2soar13: Yes i heard and u decided against it :) just was curious for future if u grew it long if u ever would again :)

Pepe the frog: and im here at 7 month and my hair is just 1 cm about my ear :(

Leighann McGowan: I'm in month 2 and I hate it so much I have to wear a wig ...

micha hope: I'm 7 and a half month post pixie cut i hate it never again will I get a pixie cut
