Hello 2023 | Hair Transformation (Pixie Cut), Baking, New Year Chats

Hey guys welcome back to another video as I've been talking about in my last few videos, I scheduled my pixie cut and today is the big day at 1. 30. I have my hair cut, so this is what my hair is looking like right now, yeah. I don't know last night I got extremely anxious for like maybe like five ten minutes. It took me like a little bit to fall back asleep, but that didn't really last very long, though I don't think I'll get anxious until I actually like step foot in there and I'll be like oh, my God. This is happening once again. I'Ll put a picture in here of my inspiration just so you know, if you haven't watched any of my other videos about this yeah. Hopefully you guys will be coming with me and watching some of this, because this is going to be such a like crazy experience. For me, so I hope you guys enjoy the rest of the Vlog and let's go get my haircut foreign. This is so crazy. I was so anxious at first but Avery she's, the girl who cut my hair. She was so freaking nice, and she just like talked me through the whole thing, told me how to style it all this stuff and, like, oh, my goodness, this is crazy. This is actually freaking crazy, wow. It feels so weird not having like hair like around my face or anything like that's. It feels so different and I also have to like start training, my hair to like move to the freaking side, but anyways I got the cut, she did it, she freaking did it hello. It is the next day Happy New Year's Eve by the way, because it's freaking December 31st. How actually insane is that, but today it's the first day I really styled my hair. I use this stuff called Taffy Whip and it kind of just like you know, puts my hair in place because without it it's like super like poofy, but I really like it without the hair styling gel yeah. So far I really like it. I think it's cute. It'S very chic. I found the Gua Sha. I got this cute little pink, one from skin gym and it's the rose quartz crystal and then I also got this little hand mirror from Conair, and I needed the mirror to see the back of my freaking head. I'M really hoping I don't drop this because it was I'm not proud to say this, but this was freaking. Thirty four dollars, foreign guys. It is New Year's Eve, it's literally about to be New Year's in well on the east coast of New York. So we are still waiting 45 seconds 25 seconds to go two one happy New Year: okay, so for everyone on the East Coast, so happy New Years, everybody except we are not in the New York yeah technically, but we have two more hours, two more hours. Where did they go? Babe foreign bye, okay, Happy New Year's everybody. It is January 1st. I just ended up staying up for the rest of the night and Connor. He went to go, get dinner with like some of his friends and then he came back a little bit later and yeah. It was really really fun. We got a lot of fun pictures. It was just a really good night bright when it hit midnight. Here we were all like all right, good night. I know a lot of people do like the New Year's resolutions and everything, but I just don't really have any. I feel like, if anything I just have more like you know things I really want to like do and things I hope for the biggest things are. I really want to travel more because we traveled a lot last year around this time and I really want to do that again. So, whether it's going back to like Utah Arizona or I really really want to go to Washington, State or like Oregon, so hopefully, Washington, State and Oregon will be like the next like trip that we do, and the other big thing is that I I really just Want to find a job that is good for a company that cares about me, values me as a person, so yeah, I'm really hoping for that too. I hope your New Year's Eve went pretty well too. Ours was pretty low-key. So far it's been pretty good. We are at the Sculpture Park, as you can see the freaking trees going off and we're about to get a photo in front of this really cute light display, like this Archway and we're gon na, take the photo with my phone camera one two, three foreign okay. Hopefully that looks good so yesterday we bought the Chamberlain coffee, the one by Emma Chamberlain and I got Connor to get it because I want to support Emma and we got the original family blend and I don't drink coffee, so Connor's gon na drink it foreign good Morning, everybody so today, well this morning, I'm gon na go to the library. I actually need to return like all of the books that I have read in the past like two months. Basically, so here are all of the books yeah, so I need to return these and then I will get a couple more to read for the next month or two. So this is the book I ended up getting from the library and it's the only one. I actually ended up finding it's just one of those proper Victorian romance novels that I really love but yeah. It'S the only one I could find so I might just have to go back again really soon to find some more books but yeah so far. This is it so we are at Panera and I got a little pumpkin muffin, so I thought that'd be kind of good yeah nice to try it. Oh, I have a sip okay, this is good olive oil. You can split it in half. If you want. No I'm! Okay! For now I mean I ate so much okay, so guess what I woke up to oh my gosh 200 subscribers. It means so much to me. I never thought that more than maybe like my 50 subscribers from a few months ago, would have wanted to watch my videos, so the fact that more and more people want to I'm like I appreciate you so much to whoever's, been leaving nice comments, and it like Makes me want to keep making more videos, obviously, like I mean I still enjoy doing it, no matter what, but just having more and more people want to like see my content. It just makes me more motivated - and I do put I put so much time and like effort into editing and shooting my content too - that it's just nice to know that other people really enjoy it just as much as I do just watching it back as a Growing YouTuber, thank you so much, but um yeah. So but today on the agenda, Mel and I were planning on making a cheesecake or baking a cheesecake and we have to go, get the ingredients and then we'll like bake it and then later today I have an eye doctor appointment because I'm finally getting contacts again. Think today is going to be a pretty good pretty chill day. Oh sure that worked yeah, whichever one really, I don't think it really matters we're like trying so hard right now, all right, we're looking for the roasting pan yeah and it's actually really hard right now, because I thought I saw some online well it will it go Up an inch, this is like an inch more than that chicken. We could do that, that's pretty cheap. At least I mean I don't know, I'm just trying to think because, like I don't want to, we don't want to pay like you know like fifty dollars. On top here is like the spring form, pan thing that we bought and then here's all of like most of the ingredients, so right now break this up a bit. Let'S start with that, are you excited for the cheesecake? I just said to combine everything until it's all evenly mixed brownies Floral. That is so good. I don't want more. So I am back from the eye doctor and I am wearing contacts for the first time in literally like almost an entire year feels like because my eyes had gotten so dry from like the climate here in Colorado, that you know it was kind of uncomfortable to Wear with my contacts and then also my prescription had changed so much that my old contacts I couldn't even use them anymore. I couldn't even wear them because it was just so blurry. I ended up finding out that my both of my eyes have changed a little bit. They got slightly worse, but it was from the astigmatism not from like my nearsightedness. Apparently I got recommended these um Precision daily contact lenses and they're the kind that fixes fixes your astigmatism. So I got these um. Both my left and right eyes have different um strengths, so they're both different and apparently this was my eye doctor's favorite brand. I used to use like the aqua Comfort plus I thing for the dailies, but he actually said they weren't that good. So I was like, oh okay, so these are the ones I'm trying now and I remember a couple years ago I did try on these astigmatism lenses and I don't remember what brand or anything, but I absolutely hated it. It felt like something was just like in my eyeball, but these were actually like, actually pretty comfortable, I mean they feel pretty normal. I can kind of feel it only because I literally haven't worn contacts in so long that I feel like I'm, just not used to it anymore, but, oh, my god. It feels so good being able to see without my glasses. Obviously, you guys do not see a freaking difference, because I take my glasses off so much to talk to the camera because of the glare on my lenses and also because they get tinted from the sunlight that it always looks like my glasses are tinted. When I talk like this because there's a window right in front of me so now I can actually see what I look like and talk to you guys good morning. Everybody so the cheesecake is finally ready. Here is what she looks like there's just a tiny crack in the middle just from moving it a little bit, but I mean I'm sure it's gon na taste, so freaking good and we are both so excited to try it. We have literally been looking forward to this since we've made it yesterday, yeah yeah, so excited yeah, I'm so ready, wow she's. Is she solid, yeah she's solid, I'm, not a professional. So don't judge me visit their breakfast. I know not mad about it. I feel like Champions. Oh my gosh look at her. It looks so good um. Oh my gosh. It'S like we bought it wow so good, oh, my God! That crust was pretty good too and you can kind of taste the lemon
