I'M in the season of new me new year, new hair period, okay yeah get into it hey, y'alls, remember the K come back to you guys with a new video and today we're getting into. Let'S see on my hair, I have been getting so many comments. Questions DMS about my new hair, so ironically, it's actually not new hair. If y'all seen my other sewing video I'll pop up the photo of the thumbnail here, even though that tends to change but and I'll leave a link down to screenshot below. So you guys can see the full install of this hair from that video, but this is the same hair from that video. I just had her cut it because I was like you know what I'm in the season of new me new year, new hair period. Okay, new everything brand new, fresh, okay; okay, even though it's still the same here, so it's given recycle it's given recycling, it's good for the environment, I'm sorry! If the light changes y'all the sun is coming in and out, but the sun must be excited. I know I like the hair too. I love this hair. Y'All know I love better length. Thank you so much to better link for sponsoring today's video y'all know. We love them over here, 9.9 out of 10.. If you see some hair on my head, if it's not mine, it's better Lane most of the time I made venture out air here and every once in a while, but I'm a circle back because I love their hair. I love the kinky straight. I love the texture. It matches perfectly with my natural hair, which is a blessing. I am a natural girl which you guys will see enough of me talking, I'm still rambling ciao, let's get into the video, so y'all can see this install and then I will Circle back and give you guys a tea on how it's been holding up, because this Has been like two weeks or so, and I'm still obsessed okay, so here is the takedown part of my sewing resaw, I'm so excited this hair held up really good, honestly, the whole sew in held up really good. I washed the hair in my leave out twice twice but um. I never washed like my braids or like the root or anything, and it's been almost two months, but I'm getting my hair done tomorrow. So I need to take out this sew in so that I can wash the bundles and I'm gon na have to wash my hair and all that, like. I want a full hair process. Y'All know with some salons that we wash your hair. Maybe I want to do it yeah, I'm just going to take it out just gon na separate the leave out of course, so I don't cut that together. I'M not gon na lie y'all. I hate this part. Somebody please come get. This sewing on my head. Don'T even ask me how long it took for you to get that that out next time, I need to ask somebody for help. Um. If you see straight pieces that was like my leave out but got all of it out of my head. I was just oiling. My scalp with the number five um hair kitchen oil, as you see I enjoy it, it's almost out giving myself a little scalp massage, because I was definitely pulling all on my head. I am exhausted y'all, it's laid meal like three hours or more now. I need to wash the bundles thank you, foreign and now forever. My hair needs to be down here. I don't grow faster. You had two months, it's growing. It feels like. I can't believe it. It feels like it's growing wow my emotions, it's okay. In the beginning, I honor God when I honor you, I honor God, when I honor you, you honor God, how could you honor me honor me yeah get into it foreign hope you guys enjoyed that. So now I'm going to give you guys a little recap of how the hair has been holding up, how I maintain it and everything like that. I get a ton of questions asking me how I maintain my hair when I work out, because if you don't know, I'm a workout girly, I'm a little 30s y'all, I'm trying to be completely well-rounded when it comes to achieving my goals, I'm trying to be healthy. Physically mentally emotionally, spiritually, all the things so working out has been a huge priority to me. I work out a lot and I'm a sweater. Okay, like some girls, are like, I don't sweat, um good for you, I'm jealous. I do so. I use a head wrap when I'm working out and I put my hair either in a bun or a ponytail, and I do not remove it until my hair is dry. That is the key. Keep the wrap on until your hair is dry. Keep the ponytail the bun make sure it's not too tight, because you want to keep your edges even though Beyonce is trying to take them but make sure you're keeping it until your hair is dry after your workout. So if you still feel like a little bit of moisture, keep it on there get a blow dryer something so that you're not taking it off, because that's how your hair is going to revert quicker again, I really don't mind a little bit of reverting because I Feel like this hair matches, my hair so well like whether it's blown out straight Etc. Now my hair is in full natural mode. Of course it's not going to match perfectly, because this is kinky straight when it comes to like a blown out texture of natural hair, but overall it matches perfectly like it's it's unreal and I haven't dyed the hair. I haven't dyed my hair, it's just, but also when it comes to getting styles with the hair. I try to use heatless Styles, so whether that's braids or twists or flexi rods or perm rods or other heatless rollers. So I can achieve like, looks like this today. Again, I did use heat, but I did use a setting spray. I use Tresemme spray, so it can kind of hold it a little bit longer and then at night. I just put a scarf on and I put my hair in like a bantu knot in the back so like twist it around itself or I'll. Do like two twists going backwards so I'll take like here and I'll just twist. It like this put on my scarf in a bonnet and call it a night. I try not to do too much. I want this to be a low maintenance hairstyle, but still give me that natural, like slices look. I do have quite a bit of leave out this time around, not a ton but a lot more than last time, but I still feel like I'm up keeping it pretty well again making sure every time, I'm straight in my hair or something I'm not doing it - That often and I'm using a heat protectant every single time, I've been using it's a 10. I love their products. I also use Chi Paul Mitchell um, some of the heat protectants I'll leave some down description box below that I've really been loving and then I also do wash my hair with a sew-in, but I don't get my braids wet. Okay, so hear me out. Let me out hear me out every I'd say I just watched it so probably about a week and a half to two weeks, depending on like how much I'm sweating in my head and sweating in general. Where is like? Okay, now my style ain't styling right, I will wash my leave out first then I will wash just the hair I won't get underneath wet. I will put like you know in the sink and stuff like that. I have a video and I'll leave a link down below and a time stamp, so you guys can see that but y'all you don't have to wash your braids now can. If you want to do it, do it, and you probably should. But one thing about me is: I don't want to sit there and wait till it dry, because if you don't let the braids dry, it's giving molds and it's giving stank and that's not cute. It'S not cute. Don'T do that or go get it maintenance by your stylist, but for me I'm not leaving the hair in that long. I'M probably gon na take this out in a couple weeks because I'm in a wedding - and I want to get tape in so stay tuned for another taping video, because I love tapings, but honestly, it's not as protective of a style as a sew-in tape. In your hair is out, okay, that's why I look so natural, your hairs out. It'S just like clippings, your hair is out with a sew-in. You are more you're, leaning more on that protective style kind of era, but you have to take care of your hair. Listen! I am natural whole natural Type, 4 baby. My edges aren't always going to look slick down. I don't need to constantly manipulate it most of the time I don't even put edge control. This is my edges and that's what they look like. This is what they look like, but that's also the benefit of getting hair that matches your natural texture a little bit closer, so don't be afraid to let your hair do a thing. Some of my hair look a little bit frizzy a little bit. Poofy! That'S! Okay! I honestly feel like it looks a little bit more natural. I have been loving, sewing life again. I am in a wedding, so I'm going to get tapings just so that it's easy for the stylus to style my hair, but you better believe I'll be circling back to miss sewing now in the summertime. I probably will I might do braids. I haven't done braids in a while. I usually do Marley twists, but I might try some braids, so I can be under Dusty in the water. I don't know, but I've been loving to throw in like. Why did we stop wearing sew-ins? What happened like? Why did we do that? What was wrong with someone? What did someone do with us? I really don't know but um, oh and as far as how many times I put heat on my hair, probably about three, maybe four times in the past, like I think it's been two and a half weeks, something like that. So not often at all. Usually, if I'm filming, I might do it again, I always put YouTube. I always put heat protected on my hair, um and sometimes one of the heat times. I just put I just blow dried it like. I didn't actually put a strainer. I just blow dried it. Maybe I didn't leave my scarf on long enough or I didn't leave my gym wrap on long enough. When I worked out something like that and I just hit it with a blow dryer. I use the Revlon like two in one brush blow dryer. So that's pretty much it. I don't do anything fancy y'all! I really don't y'all. Always ask me how you keep your hair. I don't know, but I also will say my hair. Pretty much will stay straight like yes, it will will revert at the roots. But overall my hair pretty much handles heat extremely well. It still goes back to Natural when I wash it and all that so I may, it may just be giving a blessed girl a less lucky girl, um. Oh another tip, use dry shampoo, y'all. Yes, we can use all hair types. All I use the living proof dry shampoo, I like to do it before I work out, so I can soak up some of the moisture, but I also use it when I'm like in between washes. So let's say the hair is given stiff and I need to spray it because I don't feel like washing it. I will use some dry shampoo brush it out, brush it out, blow dry it and straighten and style it. How I need to that really helps get some of that buildup in the oils, but because I don't use a ton of products on my weave or my natural hair. I don't usually have a ton of build up, so I think that helps as well, but hope this video was helpful. I could continue to Ramble On and On. Let me know if you guys have any specific questions down in the comment section below I'll, be glad to help you out. Thank you guys so much for watching and thank you again to better help for sponsoring today's video. I love their products. I'Ve used their bundles, their tapings, their clippings everything, but I have to try the microwave because I've never tried that style. So maybe I'll add that sometime this year, but I love you guys so much don't forget to thumbs up this video.
