How I (Lazily) Style My Pixie Cut! ‍♀️ No Heat & Minimal Products! (Pixie Cut Hairstyle Tutorial)

Hello, my name is jamie and in this video i'm going to be telling you how i lazily style my pixie cut. So in the video that i uploaded about a few weeks ago. You can check it out over here. If you want to at the end of that video, i asked for video suggestions and video suggestions you guys have provided, and i'm very very thankful for that also by the way, this is not going to be as complicated as the pixie cut routines that you see Around on youtube, because the ones that i've seen use like a lot of products and they use like hairspray whatever and they use hair dryers this routine - has none of that. I'M going to be showing you how i turn this hot mess to a hot. I guess i i don't know i thought about that line in the shower, and i thought i should just add it whatever. Let'S start off with the shower products, and no i'm not going to show you a video of me showering, because this is not the type of video moving on most hair washing days. I use human nature's moisturizing shampoo in the scent lush vanilla and after that i also pair it with the conditioner in the same scent, which is also lush, vanilla. Okay, i really really wish this was sponsored, but the reason why i switched to human nature is because human nature or human heart nature, i'm not sure, which is the name but human nature. Let'S just call them that they have no harmful materials or ingredients. That means there's no silicone, there's no sulfates, there's no any like bad stuff that harms your hair. It'S really good for the environment as well. So not only are you benefiting yourself, you're also benefiting the environment, and i would personally say that's a win-win situation and moving on for the days that i would want a deeper cleanse. I usually use head and shoulders smooth and silky shampoo and i pair that with yet another human nature product the natural revival cocoa mask. I usually do this once a week because i don't think my hair needs to be cleansed that much so i usually either. Do it on like a saturday or a sunday, and that's good enough for me and for the regular hair washing days, i usually shampoo every other day. So, for example, i cleanse on sunday on monday i only co-wash, which means i only wet my hair and put in conditioner and then on tuesday. I wash my hair with the human nature shampoo. Another thing that i really really like about human nature is that their packaging has like little bible verses at like the below the expiration date, and i think that's a really really good detail. I don't know i found it cute after i get out of the shower or when i'm drying up after the shower. I take a cotton t-shirt to freeze out the water from my hair. None of that towel rubbing nonsense, but just don't do that. Don'T do that! Do your hair that adds so much frizz to your hair and we don't want frizz around here. I don't think so we don't so what i do is i take that cotton t-shirt and i just you know scrunch. I think that's the better word for it. I scrunch up my my hair in the towel and just you know gently i gently scrunch it being gentle is the key over here: okay, we're not trying to rip off our scalp we're trying to take care of our hair. Okay, after i get out the shower, and i change and everything we move on to the other products that i put in my hair now, here's the thing i rarely put any products in my hair on a lot of days when i'm super lazy, i literally don't Put anything in my hair, but on the days that i feel like my hair needs a little bit more moisture i put in human nature's 100 natural pure jojoba oil, another human nature product i swear. This is not sponsored or whatever. I really wish. It was human nature, please reach out. I love your products, but when i want a little bit more hold in my hair, or maybe if i want it to be a little more curly that day, i get either fix hair gel by bench or stylex, setting lotion. Okay, these two gel products - i rarely use them, but these for some reason when i put these products in my hair, my hair goes like a little curly. If i'm in the mood for that i put in gel, but if i'm not in the mood for curly hair, i won't for the jojoba oil and that's the product that i will be using in this video. I only get about like three drops onto my fingertips and once they're on my fingertips. I just rub it together. You know to get the product evenly on my fingers and then, after that i rake it through my hair. Just you know gently whatever. There'S no method to this, just put it in your hair and i also make sure i get the back put some product at the back of your head. You know, even if you can't see it, you know it deserves some love too so put some product at the back of your head as well. I part my hair to the right side and then pat down the little wild pieces. I have at the back of my head because my hair is somewhat wavy and curly, and you know there's some stubborn pieces that pop out sometimes so, just we just. We just have to pat them down a little bit and here's how it looks like so far. I did not lie when i say my hair routine does not have any heat. I do not use any sort of iron or hair blower. None of that. I let my hair air dry, here's how it looks like 90 dry, and you know there are days where i like to leave it as it is. You know it looks pretty cute sometimes, but there are also days where i'm not in the mood for curly hair. So i take this really wide headband put it on and make sure i push it forward a little bit so that there would be like a little puff in front and that mainly helps for volume and for my hairline, because if you just make it like super Slick back and like it's like pulling on your hairline, that's not good either it doesn't feel comfortable. It gives me a headache if i don't push it forward with a little poof or, if i'm not in the mood for using a headband. I use this head scarf. Mask neck thing, i have no idea what this thing is called, but i got it from my dad yeah. I put it on like this. I know it's not the most flattering thing, but it does the job. If you don't have this scarf thing, you can also use a hoodie. Also, another downside of the headband is that it leaves like a dent in your hair. I actually use the hair band today, hair vent, which you can't really tell, but the headband does sometimes leave a dent. So there are days where i don't want a dent in my hair uh, maybe like 30 minutes or maybe an hour later. Here is what my hair looks like. I just finger comb it a bit. You know a little woosh and then, after that, you're pretty much good to go. If you are on a pixie cut marathon, i suggest you click on this card thing over here. So i suggest you click on it too. I just wanted to say this routine works for me because my hair, i would like to say my hair - is pretty uh obedient. I don't know how else to describe my hair, because i know there's a lot of people that need to do a lot of things to their hair for it to like work or for it to cooperate with them. So if, in case, our hair type is not the same, you can get some kind of like inspiration from this like little bits and pieces. Take what you want to take from this video.
