What'S up everybody welcome back to my channel, my name is Daquan. If you don't know me, then you need to go ahead and subscribe to my channel right now, so you can get to know me and if you're, a returning subscriber welcome back so today, what I'm going to be doing is because I've been getting a lot of Requests is giving you how I style my pixie cuts, and this is just going to be how I style it in between the salon visits. If you're like me, you're on a budget, you don't really have a lot of money to go to the salon. Every time you need your hair either watched or relaxed. I took that back. I do get my hair relaxed anytime. I mean my hair relaxed. I am going to the salon, but just every time you need your hair. Wash you don't have you know a lot of money if you're like me to go and get your hair washed and style, so I'm just gon na be showing you how I style my hair in between those visits, I'm going to do a two-part video for you Guys so the first part is going to show you how I mode my hair is going to be like a beginner, friendly videos and then the second video will be how I style my hair, so how I go from this mode to a this style here. As you can see now, I want to put out a disclaimer. I am NOT a professional hair stylist. I don't consider myself a professional hair stylist at all, but anyway we're gon na go ahead and get into the molding process and alright, you guys so I've already shampooed and conditioned my hair. So I'm just gon na go ahead and get straight into the products that I'll be using for this mode. Again, I am NOT a professional. This is the things that I use on, how I maintain my hair through the salon visits. So the first thing I'm going to be using is this wide toothed comb. You can use any Y to comb that you like this is just going to help basically detangle the hair before you start to mold your hair, so the next tool that I'm going to be using is these combs here, not all three of them, but I just Want to show you like just the way these combs are. I do have three four. I did get three for a dollar at my local beauty, supply store, and one of the things that I love about this comb is that it has very, very fine teeth at the end, so you can definitely work in and get those areas that you need to Get so I really really love this comb. I mentioned this in my last video as far as how I maintain my hair throughout the week, so definitely go check that video out it will be linked in the description box below, but yes definitely check that video out. So you can see how this comb does wonders. I mean, of course, you're gon na see it here as well, but I love this comb it next. Comb that I will use will be a rat tooth comb now, with these columns. Excuse this the missing tooth right here, it's been through some things, but with this calm you can use any rat tooth comb that you would like to use. I know most people may have some a comb like this, which was has the plastic end? I prefer this end here, because it just really really gets you apart, precise, so, and I may use - and this comb here just to get like the back extra smooth, as I would like it. Another thing that you would need is a bad cough or a towel, or something because you will get wet in the process so moving onto the actual products that I use to style, my hair would be the dark and lovely which is the soft Shane Carson. It'S the dark and lovely um, sick, sweet, anti perversion, cream serum. What this does is prevent curls, kinks and waves up to six weeks in between relaxing it reduces the use of daily Heat, frizz control and locks and shine. So I am using this. I don't know if y'all remember this. This was so long ago when they came out with this use a little bit of this on my hair right before I put my phone on it, don't only use that when your hair, if you are relaxed, if your natural, when you use it obviously so the Next thing that I'm going to be using is the Nairobi wrap it shine, foaming lotion. I love love-love-love this lotion simply because it really really gets my hair. My hair is really thick and it really really lays my hair and it makes it look shiny. In the end, I've gotten a lot of comments, basically stating that this lotion is a little bit too heavy for their hair, and you have to keep in mind that the your everybody has different textures. Everybody has different hair densities, so you definitely have to get a foaming. Um lotion, that's going to be suitable for your hair and your hair texture, because this, because just because this works for me doesn't mean that it's gon na work for you. So you can use any foaming style of your choice. That is going to definitely get your hair late for the Gods honeys. The last thing that I will be using is the rapid, stylish rips. It'S the number one quality route for sleek, sculpted, molded hairstyles, and I got this in black - and I got this from my beauty supply store and I use this just to keep everything just laying flat once I'm old, my hair, so we're gon na go ahead and Get straight into this mode, so the first thing that I like to do is comb my hair. So again, as I mentioned with me common my hair, this is basically going to just detangle my hair, so I can prepare it for my mode. I usually create, like I do my waves on the side and everything coming to the fore to my hair, but I'm thinking I want like a side part, so I'm just gon na do that today. So I'm just gon na take like the arch of my eyebrows like right here and then go up to create my part, so at this moment I'm just kind of figure out always. This is how I want my hair. I kind of want it to be a little bit more heavy on this side, which is my left side, so I'm just gon na take this and go like the opposite like instead of one up this way, I'm just gon na go back this way and then I'M going to take more hair, lift it up, as you can see, and it's gon na create more of a deeper side part and, as I mentioned, I'm just gon na pop a little bit amount. Just one pump really on my hand - and I am just going to rub it together and I'm just going to put it all in my hair, I'm gon na take my nairobi, rapid, shine, lotion, foaming lotion and i'm gon na put it all through my hair. So now the key to getting a nice late, pixie cut, is whenever you are putting foam on your hair, you do don't put it in your hand and then rub it across. You need to get directly into your roots and then just put it here with you. Yeah that was not supposed to happen. I'M gon na leave this and I'm not even gon na edit that out, because it is what it is, but you have to get directly into your root and put it in there make sure it is touching your root. You should feel it and then you rub it in there now. Another thing is you want to take your hair and like lift it up again to get all in there, so the next thing I'm going to do is just I'm gon na take just a cone like this cone here, because I just want to now lay it Flat, so this is not gon na start, my mold process, I'm just gon na, distribute the product into my hair, whatever excess foam you have. I just go back over my hair: I'm not wasting no product because again it is expensive. Go in with my comb. I have a lot of product here, but I am going to put some more because I really care about my size. I am gon na take this end of the comb and I hope you can see that. But I am going to begin to again comb over it and you can see it's already getting it smooth and now I'm just gon na create my waves. So what I like to do is you want to when you comb it you can bring. It just depends on how you want to do it. You can bring it out and then come back out if you want to or you can just go out if you want to um I'm thinking my hair is going to be like this way, so I'm gon na go out go out and then you want to Put your finger here and then come back out, creating like a C shape. So you see that then get your size. The way that you wanted to and then you see where that stopped, I'm going to put my hand back there, go back in and then come back out, go back in everywhere. It ends you put your finger and then you come back out and as I mentioned last time, you have to smooth it down, I'm thinking about a little bit more curls on this in I'm still gon na. Take this my hand, so that's how I'm creating my waves, because I wanted it a little bit more deeper. So if you want it, I'm not deeper, but I just wanted more waves. So if you just want more waves yeah, if you want more waves, you just go and and just make it instead of longer. If that makes sense, I don't know how to explain it, but instead of just going like really big, just go really small with the waves come back in and just go small again now again, as I mentioned, and I'm gon na probably mention a thousand times in The video - I am NOT a professional hairstylist, so I don't know how to do finger waves all the way throughout. I don't know if you know this is the correct way to do faint waves, but this is how I like my hair to be done. So that's the reason why I'm doing it this way. So the next thing I'm going to do is I'm just gon na smooth the back out, because again I don't know how to do finger waves. I am gon na add a little bit more product to the back. Like I said, I use a lot, but I just really need for it to be as flat as possible and I'm sorry y'all. I did forget to mention that whenever you are combing your hair make sure that you follow it with your hand. That'S gon na also be key to getting it smooth as well. So this is how I create my mo well. The last thing I'm gon na do is just work on the other side, so, as I mentioned to y'all my size, do not look the same whatsoever um and that's because I don't know how to do that. So I just do what I think looks cute again. This is the main side that's going to be shown, so I can't so, of course I want to do this up, but this side this side here I mean it's alright. Now, if you see any pieces, your sticking up just go over it with some foam and then then just the site like you can do whatever you want to. I am gon na. Take it up, let me just calm it up, because I am gon na be creating like a little side part you take some phone for this and then I'm just gon na bring it all down to one and then put it there, as you can see, put These rapid styling strips on so what I like to do is now I am going to start from the back of my neck, so it's gon na cover everything start from the back of my neck and then it's gon na cover this part. So that's gon na lay flat, and it's also gon na cover this part, and I'm gon na put it right here. Put it over you'll have to do it too tight, but just making sure is the air. I am gon na take another one and go right back over it right back on the on this top, and I am gon na tie it not too tight, but you can see so now. It'S covering this part is holding this and I'm gon na. Take just one more: it's gon na take it from back here, so I can cover the back. So all I care about that lays flat would be just my size and then my back, the very back of my hair. That'S the only thing that I care about laying flat as far as this, you can always manipulate this for it to be curly shiny straight. However, you wanted to, but you want to make sure that your size are flat. You want to make sure that your sides are flat and then also you want to make sure that your back is going to be flat all right. So I do take another wrap. It style you strip and just put it right again on the nape of my neck, and so it could just be a little bit flatter. So what I'm going to do now is I'm gon na sit under the dryer. I'M gon na sit in the dry for about 45 minutes. I would say, as we get closer to maybe like 15 minutes. I do take this out off and I just let it just dry without the styling capsule and that's just what I'm sorry the styling strips on. That'S just what I like to do. Alright, you guys I am back with my mode. It is completely dry now again, this is going to be part, one of two videos that I'm going to put out for you guys on basically how to spell and mold your hair beginner-friendly. As I mentioned, I'm not a professional hair stylist. So I don't really know all the tips and tricks just yet, but I am learning and since I've cut my hair back in August, this is what I have came up with. I'M not gon na keep y'all waiting for the second video. The second video is just basically how I'm now styling my hair from this mold process, so that's definitely going to be out maybe a day or two later after this video drops. I really hope you guys enjoy this tutorial. Let me know what you like in the comments below you can request videos from me. If you like more of these pixie cut styles, definitely leave me a request in the comments down below also thumbs up this video cuz.
