Hello, everyone! So today i am going to show you guys how i style my curly pixie cut, i'm making this video because, as curly girls, you want a new hairdo. But then you look it up and you search on pinterest, curly, pixie cut and all you get. Are these white girls that curl their hair, but you want it naturally curly hair like when i wanted a pixie cut. I had to kind of just guess and hope, because i couldn't find anyone with my curl pattern, so that is why i'm making this video. So if you are considering getting that pixie cut stay tuned, i'm going to show you how easy it is to style it. So my hair is freshly washed. I washed it and i conditioned it the two products i used to wash and go. When i do my hair, i do it fresh out of the shower, so usually i do it before i even get dressed today. I got dressed and did my makeup first, because i didn't want to look crusty on camera, so i start out my leave-in conditioner focus. I use the contour leave-in conditioner, so i grabbed like this much. The cool thing about short hair is that you really don't need that much product and i just run it through my hair with my fingers just like that. Then i get a comb and once you comb it, you want to go ahead and put in some curl hold cream on it. I like to use the miss jessie's multi cultural curls. It works for me because i have multiple curl patterns in my hair and i think that this is great for it it's a little bit on the pricier side, but when you have short hair you don't use as much product, so you don't have to buy it. As often i use about this much - and this is the most tedious part of the routine, but it is the part that makes your hair look the cutest, so you're gon na part, your hair. I usually like doing it right here in the middle of my eyebrow. Once you part it you're, just gon na go section by section and you're gon na finger coil your hair. So let me show you how i do it. I just go like that with my fingers and go and do it pretty tight just like that and then you're gon na go ahead and do that through all your hair. So i like chunkier sections you can like experiment with the size. If you notice that your hair just won't take a curl, i would try curling it the other way, sometimes you're, just not going the right way. Okay, i finished with this section. So now i'm gon na go to the other one and honestly, if you don't get all these curls in the bottom layer, it's okay, because they're gon na be covered up by the top layer. Anyway, i just really like the spiral pearl look. So that's why i do this also, i, like all my curls to match. Like i said earlier, i have multiple curl patterns in my hair. So if i don't do this, then, like my hair, gets kind of crazy, like some parts are like almost straight, mainly because of damage. I'Ve colored my hair a lot in the past year and then there's some parts that are like super super curly back section. I'M not as picky with the back session. I just kind of do what i can. Then i go and i just fluff it up a little gently and then i start on the left side, this side's a little bit easier because it doesn't have as much hair. I can tell it's almost time for a haircut because look at how the ends aren't curling, so i need to go get my ends cut if you notice that the very tips of your hair won't curl and they're probably dead, and you need to get a haircut Yeah moving on i'm kind of trying to grow my hair into a mullet. I don't know we'll see how long i can go without getting a haircut. My hair goes pretty fast, though so fingers crossed. I hear my cat knocking my door she's trying to get in almost done like the other side, once you finish just kind of fluff it up a little all right, so this next part is optional. I do it because, like i said, i'm growing out my hair, so it's a little poofier than i would like, but usually i have my hair trimmed down here like 201, so i don't really need to do that usually, but since my hair is a little longer, I like to just get a little bit of gel any gel any holding gel will. Do i like to use the eco styler gel curly girl, favorite, and i just kind of put it near the back. Then i get my sideburns and i like i just curled them up a little i'm going to get one of these brushes and just kind of smooth it down. Just like that, and usually when i do the gel thing some gel like builds up in the bottom, so i just got a towel and i just kind of clean up right down here. So there's no build up and then i kind of flip up my bangs. A little bit so they don't get in my eyes. I do not diffuse my hair, not because i think there's anything wrong with it. I'M just lazy and i'm really busy and i don't make time for it, and i like how my hair looks when i don't diffuse it. I just let it air dry, it doesn't bother me because it's short so yeah i don't diffuse, my hair. You don't need to diffuse your hair to do this. Look unless you want to. If I add the word “natural” to my search, the results page is black hair which is completely opposite of the previous results.. My curl pattern is very curly, but not the same kind of curl as black girls, who’s pattern is usually tighter/kinkier. So thank you for being the only other person who understands what I mean
