Hey there doll friends Welcome back Today I have another wig tutorial for you.. The short hairstyle has been requested a lot, so here it is, and I hope you enjoy Now, let's begin. As always, we start with the wig cap. Cover your doll's head with cling, wrap or plastic and secure a cloth over with elastics., Then brush on three to four coats of white glue and I'm using Elmer's glue-all for this one. Once dry. I start drawing my guide. Lines., Unlike my previous videos, I drew more guidelines on this one., But don't worry and be confused. This line is the part line. This line is the bangs area and the dashed ones are your guide for gluing your layers of wefts.. I also drew a straight line at the back, which connects the bangs area guide, which I will explain the purpose of later on in this tutorial. And then take it off the doll's head and trim off the excess.. Since this is a short hairstyle, it would be a waste to use long wefts so make shorter ones by reducing the cardboard guide. Size. Mine measures eight cm, but the wefts I produce are still long. So I suggest adjusting the guide accordingly., The shorter, your wefts, the better.. If you want to learn how I make my yarn wefts in detail, I made a separate video tutorial on that. So please check it. Out. You'll need one hank of yarn for this project and I'll be using this brand. To do the wefts I'll be using a stronger glue.. This one is locally produced in the Philippines and since I'm not sure if this is sold elsewhere, I'll just show you the bottle's info, so you can find a similar glue.. Basically, you want to find something that pretty much binds everything and dries clear.. Also you'll need a mask or anything to cover your face, because you will do a lot of cutting and small fibers will be everywhere. That could irritate your throat when you inhale a lot of it., So stay safe, guys (, especially if you have dust allergies. ), Now that's settled: let's do our first layer of wefts on the wig cap., Then split it in half and insert your scissors in between And cut a V-shape. Trim off the tip of the V and hold your scissors vertically and start snipping off the edges. Randomly.. You have to be patient and take your time making small snips until you have blurred the harsh line. See how much softer this looks Repeat. This process, as we glue on the next layers following your first layer shape. Also it helps to put the tail end of your comb under the hair. While you cut so you don't ruin the bottom layers. Something that I actually learned later on *chuckles* when I'm almost done with the wig. Once you reach this line, snip around the ear and start forming the tip of the bangs.. Since we're working on a very small head, it's easier to form the hairstyle when you cut the hair as you glue each layer than cutting it after the wig is done.. Making guidelines will help you plan where to cut or change the direction on how to glue the wefts. And then proceed on gluing the rest of the layers. Following the guide that we made. Don't forget to leave a small space on where we'll glue the part.. Once you reach the top layers, you don't have to follow a certain shape anymore, just soften the blunt edges., Also tame the hair down with water.. Finally, we glue the part Once you flip it over use water to help tame it down. This one's persistent. So I used our cling wrap technique to keep it in place. Once set make a few more cuts style with more water and you're done. It was a bit challenging to make this hairstyle, but was also fun, so I hope you can try it out If you'd like to show me your work Tag me on Instagram and use the hashtag # MozekytoLook, so I can see and feature you on my next Video., Thank you guys so much for watching. Don'T forget to like this video and subscribe. See you on the next one. Bye

Dollightful: I wish I had known these things when I made my Sylveon doll! Such nice techniques. <3

Mary Stewart: My granddaughter and her friends have several dolls that need hair makeovers. We've decided to try making wigs following your tutorials. I was wondering if you can make a curly or Afro style wig using the curly type yarn that is used for making ruffled scarfs. They have dolls from several ethnic groups and they want different styles to try on the various dolls. Thanks for sharing your tutorials. They are really very well made. Have a Blessed day!

Magenta Mayhem: as a girl with a pixie cut, I wanted to thank you for making this video and including those of us that don't have rapunzel hair

Avatar Rash: YOU'RE A MIND READER!!! Every time I wanna make a certain wig, you come out with a tutorial for it!

Paradoxical Intention: I'd love to see your take on an undercut wig, where one side is super short and the other side is really long!

Alice LPS: Cute!

Skylar Smith: You should make a rainbow doll wig using left over wefts from your different projects!!

Shishuu: I would like to request a wig tutorial for dolls with ears (Rochelle, Clawdeen, Catrine etc) <3

Eevee Miscellaneous: You should do a bun wig. That would be cool!

JupitersLamb: Can I request a Geisha wig?? I need to make one for a personal project but I'd like to see how you do it.

tamakyu: This is really beautifully done, wow!!! I'm so scared of making short hairstyles for dolls, but this will definitely help! ^ v ^"

Aiyana Williams: You should do a yarn collection video or wig collection video!

Aira Kim Gad: This vid concluded my thoughts on your nationality xD There's a distinct accent when Filipinos speak in english :) I love your works. I've binge-watched all of your vids.

ImaCynomingirl: This is the first time I have watched any of your videos and I just loved it! I have just recently decided I want to try making a doll wig and I really love this one. But one other thing, I was so pleased to see that you recommended using a mask because of the small fibers. As a younger women I was a nurse and know how many people, especially young ones, who have asthma and allergies that take very little to set them off. And so often people forget to instruct the folks doing these projects to use common sense safety precautions which can make a big difference to their health in the long run. If there was a weekly YouTube Good Video Citizens Award you would be this weeks winner! Thank you and please keep crafting and sharing!

Fancylooks: Excellent, very interesting, very realistic and very pretty!

MewMizu: Thanks for making this video! :D Most dolls I've seen have long hair so it's always fun to see people give their dolls short hair. If I ever start customizing dolls myself this video will definitely be useful to me!

Kristy Burgess: I love her hairstyle so much! She looks so gorgeous! Thanks for the awesome video. I’ve been wanting to make a christa doll from the fern gully movie for ages. I wanted to give her a similar haircut so this tutorial was really helpful!

Vegadoll: I just found your channel and binge watched all your videos, haha. Your use of yarn in wigmaking is awesome! It seems like a great alternative to alpaca. This short style looks great! I have a BJD in need of a new hair-do and I really want to give this look a go!

Pearberrie: Omg you always make such amazing wigs this one looks so good!

Shay Thompson: I'm such a huge fan of your channel!! I am so glad you started posting more videos! I love all your stuff and it has helped me to become more confident in my own wig making. Do you have an instagram or other social media that I can follow? Thank you again for being amazing!

Kosomolski Dolls: I love this! It looks really cute For the cutting, I've made the experience that it looks even softer when you cut the hair with a razor blade =D

prophetscry: @___@ Gah, I really love this wig design. It's beautiful and you blended the layers so well! Would it be possible to get a fancy updo wig in the future? =_=; I have plans to make these crazy updos for my dolls, only I have no idea how to go about doing it and there are very little tutorials that cover that sort of thing(like beehive styles or braids)...most of the wig tutorials I've found are for a basic straight, long haired wig.

PattyAnn: Ive watched many of your wig tuts and Im still amazed each time..Thank you so much for teaching us that yarn can actually become hair. I was actually going to buy expensive wefts of human hair or Alpaca until i saw your vids...Again...Thank you!!

StarlightGacha 13: Being new with all of this, I have a question. How strong is glue-all? I’m trying to find a glue that would stick really well, because I’ve had bad experiences with normal Elmer’s glue in the past.

Dazaisart: I am making stop motion puppets, and your tutorials are everything to me. thanks a lot, they really help!!

shastapurpledaisy: I am doing something similar for one of my first doll tutorials. I was wondering if I could put a link to this video in the description?

Pacific Peller: As much as I love the wig, I can't help but think that doll wants to speak to the manager.

Laurie Lenz: Adorable wig!

Having a good time: i don't know if you've already done this one, but can you try to make a dread lock wig??? it would be very interesting to see!

Lyllies: You must be a wonderful person if you treat your dolls like that ^_^
